Hamilton Inn Birmingham-Bessemer

Room was filthy. Many nefarious people wandering around the halls and elevators later at night. Staff warned us not to leave anything of value in our vehicles.

They called and confirmed my room for two queen beds on the morning of my reservation. However, when we got there, they did not have any queen rooms available. Since it was just my daughter and I, we told them to just give us a king room because all the hotels in the area were booked. Once we got to our room, it was decent. The toilet wasn’t clean, there was no shower curtain, and the tabletops weren’t dusted. I’ve certainly stayed in worse, but they could do better here. The people that checked in before us came back while we were checking in and requested a different room because they claimed their room smelled of smoke and had a half drank bottle of coke.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hamilton Inn. The room was clean. Staff were friendly. Would definitely choose again.
