The hotel is under renovation. I was not aware of that until I checked in for my stay. We specifically booked a hotel with a pool but the pool was also under renovation. Most of the floor we were on was closed off for renovation. All floors except for the lobby were covered in plastic due to renovation.

The facility was under renovations. I was not aware of the renovations when I booked the room. We had to change rooms when we found the bathroom sink had dirty water coming up through the drain. By the time I got a new room the water was running out of the sink and onto the bathroom floor. Apparently someone on the renovation crew left a valve open or closed causing a backup onto our bathroom floor.

This was the cleanest, nicest motel I’ve stayed in in long time. I was very impressed. Everything looked like it had just been built. I can’t imagine how you can change a building from what it was to what it is today. I highly recommend staying here and it will be the place I stay when I’m in town.

I have never left a review for a property but felt I needed to this time. The staff we encountered were so welcoming and kind and the breakfast was good as well. However, for $180 for one night, I felt like we were in a one star hotel. The room was so dirty: stains all over the bathroom ceiling, water rings all over the bathroom sink counter, hair in the tub. An inch of dust on the towel shelf in the bathroom, dirty elevator waiting areas, etc. We stopped here as a last minute stay with our kids on our way through to Florida, but we would’ve been better off sleeping in the car.

I was there from Weds- Saturday (3/8-3/11 for a church conference. My stay was nice but I didn’t like how I never got housekeeping until that Friday when I mention it with the lady at the desk. Was told everyone had already left for the day on Thursday. Was not happy especially when they put you down for housekeeping. Also when the girl came on Friday (my last day there) to clean my room I went back after getting food an was gonna get in the bed and saw something on the back of my pillowcase an it was dry blood. Called the front desk and she had to give me a whole new pillow & pillowcase. Not good! But the lady at the desk said she would put in for a credit on my amount for what had happen. So we will see. Will be calling the general manager as well.

Room was mostly clean. We reserved a king with a sofa bed for two adults and a teenager. Sofa bed was just a mattress with only a comforter and pillows in the closet. No sheets, pillow cases, or second blanket. The pillows had yellow stains on them. On the other hand besides the sofa bed being bad it was a good stay. Nice breakfast. Something that was quite weird was there was a connecting door between our room and our neighbors. The bathroom was pretty clean besides the counter was a little sticky.

I always try to stay at a Hampton Inn when traveling. Nice amenities and comfortable rooms. This Hampton Inn has been at this location for decades but had been recently updated. The area around the hotel is just ok, but next visit I will most likely stay in the much nicer Madison/Huntville area

The hotel as a whole is fine. The AC was really cool during the day but would get hot at night. There were ants on the inside AC unit. The curtain doesn’t block out light at night. The room was very bright at night. There weren’t any pastries to choose from as I didn’t have time to sit and eat and the cereal selection was slim.

Everything was great and very clean. However 2nd day housekeeping never came in my room to change out towels, trash and coffee. When asked.for towels...we got them but they didnt want to give them up. So 2nd night wasnt as comfortable. But still very nice and breakfast was great.

Nice hotel. Very clean. Pleasant and friendly staff. A lot of restaurants located near by. Conveniently located about 7 miles off of I-65. That 7 miles saved us $50-$75 for the night compared to hotels located right on I-65 exit.

Everything was great and very clean. However 2nd day housekeeping never came in my room to change out towels, trash and coffee. When asked.for towels...we got them but they didnt want to give them up. So 2nd night wasnt as comfortable. But still very nice and breakfast was great.

Enjoyed our stay, impressed with the breakfast. It was nice to have coffee available all the time, cookies were a plus. Would go back.

We stayed overnight with our Chow Chow on our way from Florida to Illinois. This was our stopping point. The hotel is okay, but needs to be updated. I say that because the King room was $178 per night, then $196 with fees & taxes. For that amount you would expect it to be in better condition. On top of that, they charge $75, nonrefundable, for pets. My dog is cleaner than most kids. Be aware of that if you stay at a dog friendly Hampton Inn. La Quinta does not charge for pets. Ok, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom clean, although the shower/tub was weird with a hollowed out floor that kept water in the shower floor at all times. The breakfast area was clean & the breakfast offered was very nice, and good coffee, not the watered down stuff! The check in process was quick and the person working was very nice and friendly. She told us if we go to Applebee’s and show them our card, we get a 10% discount, which we did and it was very good. So a nice place to stay but a bit on the expensive side in my opinion.

Displeased about no maid service and the Internet was somewhat problematic to sign into. Breakfast was not the best (not much variety). The desk clerk Jana was wonderful! Enjoyed our stay.

The hotel as a whole is fine. The AC was really cool during the day but would get hot at night. There were ants on the inside AC unit. The curtain doesn’t block out light at night. The room was very bright at night. There weren’t any pastries to choose from as I didn’t have time to sit and eat and the cereal selection was slim.

Excellent assistance by hotel staff during their first Rock The South event. They were so kind and helpful. Everything smelled wonderful and was so very clean. I will stay every year!!!!

From the moment I entered the room, there were several issues that should never occur at any hotel, especially one carrying the Hilton name. The bath towels provided in the room had visible stains on them, and the entire room had a strong odor that smelled like old, damp clothes. After an extremely long day of travel, I seriously considered leaving and finding another hotel. However, because I was exhausted, I decided to make the best of the situation. Throughout my stay, I had to make multiple trips to the front desk to request clean towels and a replacement bedspread because the original bedding smelled musty and unclean. While the front desk staff did provide replacements, these were problems that should have been addressed before a guest ever checked into the room. Unfortunately, the experience became even more disappointing the following day. I requested housekeeping service while I was at work, expecting the room to be cleaned. When I returned around 7:00 p.m. after another long workday, I found that housekeeping had only replaced the towels. The trash had not been emptied, the bed had not been made, and the room had not been cleaned in any meaningful way. Once again, I was left frustrated after an already exhausting day. As someone who frequently travels for work and has stayed at numerous Hilton properties over the years, I have always associated the Hilton brand with cleanliness, professionalism, and dependable service. Unfortunately, this stay fell far below.
