I have stayed here before years ago and everything was great. The staff was nice and my room was clean and small but nice. I wish I had a couch in my room. The only thing I didn’t like was my pillows and bed smelled like smoke. Thank God I always bring my Lysol and febreze. I would definitely stay here again because it was quiet, nice, clean and convenient.

I have stayed at this property before. It is nice. The only reason I chose this location for this stay is because they had an EV Charging station. Unfortunately the locking clip on their EV Charging connector was broken. While it was functional, it was a risk to the EV of the user if you were to unplug it, not knowing the locking mechanism was broken. I saw a review from another guest that stated that the EV Charger was broken. I called the hotel to verify that it was functional (as I was driving from Ohio). I was assured it was working. I am writing this in the hopes that the hotel will see this and get their EV Charger Connector fixed for the next guest.

When ever we are in Demopolis, COMFORT INN is where we stay. We have stayed at this Comfort Inn multiple times and each stay is as pleasant as the previous stay. The facility is wonderful and so is the staff.

I would not book again at this location. I was NOT comfortable in the assigned room. The ceiling was badly stained and beginning to peel. The carpet was ruff and felt like walking on concrete (with shoes on my feet). The coffee machine, I refused to use. Some of the Coffee packages had food droplets on them. The A.M. female desk clerk showed no social graces. However, accolades to the male night shift desk clerk.

The property isn’t worthy of a $151 price for the area. A/C not cooling properly, not water pressure in shower, toilet was noisy when flushed. ( I know we’ll address these issues, sorry for your experience ). I’m the most understanding person ever, but if you’re going to ask a premium price in an area like this attend to issues. Oh yeah!!! EXPEDIA!! I’m not happy with you at all. ( The price you see is the price you pay ). I don’t think so, and your trip protection insurance. I’m done. Hello other travel sites!!!!

Quick check in and check out. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There's a microwave and fridge which is really helpful. It's also in a great location. Walmart and a few other stores are nearby.

I have driven an Electric Vehicle since 2013. I have used this Comfort Inn in Demopolis, Alabama because it is the only hotel in Demopolis that has an Electric Vehicle charger. I was in Demopolis, Alabama in 2013, 2016, 2024, 2025 & just completed a trip this year 2026. The Electric Vehicle charger locking mechanism was broken in 2013, 2016, 2024, 2025 and was still broken in 2026. I reported this to hotel staff each year I stayed here, and yet it was still broken this year. That is 16 years. I am planning another trip this year. It will be interesting to see if they have rectified this issue.

I was extremely disturbed with the booking process for the hotel. The telephone representative was rude, arrogant, and refused, yes refused to let me speak directly to the hotel. I called about 5 times. When I asked about the price of 141.00 listed in your online add she said that was an error. When I asked about a Military, AAA, or AARP discount she said that you did not participate in those discounts. I still booked a room there because we have used it for weddings, funerals, etc. in the past.

The staff was nice and friendly and tried to accommodate the problem the best they could and the breakfast was good .The bed have big yellow and brown spots on the mattress. The carpet smells so bad. I had to leave my door open and close it when I get ready to go to bed ,couldn’t sleep for the smell.

The staff was nice and friendly and tried to accommodate the problem the best they could and the breakfast was good .The bed have big yellow and brown spots on the mattress. The carpet smells so bad. I had to leave my door open and close it when I get ready to go to bed ,couldn’t sleep for the smell.
