Parking was a nightmare. Came in late at night . Small parking lot and two big box trucks parked taking up 10 spaces along with a pickup truck and trailer. Had to park in neighboring hotel and walk at midnight. This issue should be addressed.

I liked that the property was well secured with cameras and the doors locked to where nobody could get in without a key card after a certain time at night.

1. Elevator was out of order. Inconvenient for 3rd-floor room. 2. Room was hot, humid, and musty. Took 24hrs to cool the room & never got the smell of socks out of it. 3. Reserved for 3 nights but checked out before noon after the 2nd. Charged for 3 nights, despite call to the property and promise to fix it.

The pictures online are definitely from when the property was built. This property is fair and would not stay again. The room was not worth the price. I paid an additional upcharge for a sofa bed that couldn’t be used because it was dirty. Pillowcases had makeup on them. Very strong chemicals in the pool caused itching and burning. Swam minimal time. The entrance to the pool is completely behind the hotel in a dim lit area. Staff not very friendly after checkin.

Work for us AOKAY for a travel overnight stay At reasonable price. STAFF friendly. We exercise after long hours on the road, so climbed the stairwells as the fitness center was closed with work in progress. Attaboy that the stairwells were clean, painted, nice compared to many others. Breakfast was good. Again, you are blessed to have great attentive Staff🙏 Hint, check out:: the peanut butter packets are well pass edible. .. tried 3 and couldn’t use to spread on bread. I was surprised that Sleep Inn was a CHOICE hotel.

They are doing renovations. According to the desk clerk they have done a lot and he mentioned some things they were doing and planned to do. So, there was a bit of a mess in a few areas but it was work related. I would stop by again and see how it worked out.

The hotel is really starting to show wear. Vending didn’t work. No lobby store. Couldn’t even get the front desk to offer me one. The bathroom needed better cleaning. The bed to me was not comfortable. No descent outdoors seating except one bench secluded. Pool gate locked. Would’ve a hotel that at least let’s you sit and enjoy the weather. Breakfast is a joke. The food was old and not good. Maybe a waffle would’ve been ok. Dry donuts. The coffee is good.

My pillows were dirty except one. If the pillows are stained then throw them away. Hair in my tub. It was thin and light brown. Curtains were mildew. I know it cost to replace curtains but that’s part of our experience which is to have a clean room. I didn’t complain because I knew where I was choosing wasn’t my regular hotel. And I can’t help that at 5 something in the morning, someone is having s*x. No photos. Ain’t like I’ll get a refund but that was my experience far as the room being clean. Overall is was a 3 out of 5.

I will NEVER stay in this hotel again! Not clean at all. There were multiple roaches and pubic hair in the shower. Feces smears in the toilet....and pubic hairs. This toom was disgusting. No vacancies and no refund so we had to suck it up. Luckily we always have the bed bag for hotels so hmwe slept inside it. I didnt even want me nody to touch this filthy bed. Bed bag going straight in the wash with hot water when we get home. Please sleep in your car rsther than stay here. Seriously.

I’ve stayed here numerous times and this trip way by far the worst in cleanliness or I should say lack of . I checked in late and was exhausted so I did not report anything to front desk . I was in room 313 and upon entering I noticed a washcloth on the floor next to toilet . I checked the bed and it was clean and that’s really all I cared about I went to bed and slept well the bed was very comfortable . Next morning I wore up and on the side of bed on floor there was something split all over the floor . I went to take shower and shower was covered in mold and mildew . I then packed up and went downstairs for breakfast which is always pretty decent . I checked out and left and didn’t even say anything to front desk . I usually enjoyed staying here but now not sure I will be back

I loved the spacious room and it was immaculate in cleanliness. The only issue was the air conditioning and heating system was noisy. We put up with it since we only stayed one night. I would give this hotel a 5 out of 5 overall.

The staff was very courteous... that's about the only plus. Decor was very dated. The room was minimalist (nothing on the walls, no lamp shades over the lamps, just bare bulbs, no body wash or shampoo in the shower). Speaking of the shower, the water pressure was HORRIBLE. The bed was average at best comfortable. The room LOOKED pretty clean at first, but... there were bug flying around, mostly on the ceiling. Then... breakfast: when I checked in, the front desk attendant told me, "Hot breakfast from 6-9." That was technically true, but... there were 3 hot items, sausage, eggs, and a waffle maker. The sausage was pretty good, but the eggs were awful and the waffle mix dispenser was very difficult to deal with. I gave up. At least there was a juice machine... but it didn't work, and when the attendant finally got it to work, the juice was watered down and tasted terrible. This was NOT a good hotel experience.

Staff were friendly but the seat of the arm chair in my room was broken. Also the cleaners need to do a better job. The clothes closet hadn't been vacuumed and there was a lot of dust behind the nightstand. The windows were dirty and the elevator had tons of finger smudges on the stainless steel.

The hotel was just average. The rooms are quite clean. But there was an issue with the television it would not work or come on. It just needs to be a thorough check of all the rooms to make sure the devices work. And the plumbing could be updated as well

Front desk staff Melanie went above and beyond to try to make things right but this hotel is filthy. We changed rooms, that one was so moldy we could not stay in it and the furniture was broken, friend sat down and went straight to the floor. I have seen in other posts the owner acknowledging the conditions and that a gut/remodel is forthcoming Sept 2025. In the mean time, cannot recommend the building itself. Staff and even owner seem responsive which was deeply appreciated.

The hotel itself has a weird musty smell. Check in was so slow. I had prepaid through 3rd party site. She found my reservation immediately but took another 10 mins of clicking to check us in. The line to check in just kept getting longer and longer. Not the friendliest person either. Other than that the room was run down but not horrible. I felt safe and it was a cheap stay so I would stay again long as I wasn't in a hurry to get into my room.

Don't use this property if you have any delay whatsoever in your travel plans. They will cancel your entire booking if you miss the first night check-in. I showed up for my 2nd night to check in ,only to be told that I would have to rebook AND pay again for the room because I didn't call ahead of time to say I wasn't checking in the first night even though I PAID FOR IT. Expedia is also worthless as far as customer service after booking. I will definitely be using a different booking service moving forward.

Expedia is also worthless as far as customer service after booking. I will definitely be using a different booking service moving forward.

My wife and I had booked four nights but only had to stay for one. We had evacuated because of the hurricane but the storm shifted east so we we able to come home. When I checked out, I was told I would be refunded for the unused days but I have not received a refund or been contacted about a refund. The hotel itself was fine, but a staff and manager who don't keep their promises or fulfill obligations (like my refund)? They do not have my recommendation. I'd avoid this property, as I'm sure other hotels in Dothan have managers who meet their obligations. We are two retirees, and the money we didn't get back comes out of our fixed income. Don't make the same mistake.

We will be staying at the Sleep Inn & Suites again in Dothan. Clean room, clean kitchen, clean overall. Warm breakfast. Only complaint is the room carpet needs to be thoroughly cleaned or replaced as there are stains and smoke odor. Slightly difficult entry to hotel when traveling south on the highway, and slightly confusing. I still recommend this hotel.

We've stopped at this Sleep Inn multiple times & it's always great... easy to stop, convenient off highway, always a welcoming staff ... beds are comfy & breakfast is good too. There's lots of places to eat & shop - we normally just have dinner after a long drive - sleep & go. Dothan is a safe area too.

Our room was nice and clean. We were satisfied with the room. However, the lady who checked us in was not friendly. Her attention was focused on some papers and she was talking to another employee. When she addressed me, her tone was short and direct. The room key holder was a card packet that looked like it had been reused many times. There was no information about what time breakfast would start. Breakfast had very few options. There were no eggs. The offerings included sausage, biscuits and gravy, bagels, powdered donuts, small packets of oatmeal (none were sugar-free), waffles, two apples, and three little Cuties. For a diabetic, there were no suitable breakfast options.

The staff was very courteous... that's about the only plus. Decor was very dated. The room was minimalist (nothing on the walls, no lamp shades over the lamps, just bare bulbs, no body wash or shampoo in the shower). Speaking of the shower, the water pressure was HORRIBLE. The bed was average at best comfortable. The room LOOKED pretty clean at first, but... there were bug flying around, mostly on the ceiling. Then... breakfast: when I checked in, the front desk attendant told me, "Hot breakfast from 6-9." That was technically true, but... there were 3 hot items, sausage, eggs, and a waffle maker. The sausage was pretty good, but the eggs were awful and the waffle mix dispenser was very difficult to deal with. I gave up. At least there was a juice machine... but it didn't work, and when the attendant finally got it to work, the juice was watered down and tasted terrible. This was NOT a good hotel experience.

Great location, bed was so comfortable, pillows were a dream. Breakfast had many items, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, yogurt, juices, milk, cereal, coffee, waffles, fruit, something for everyone. People pleasant & warm. Many nearby food places. Have stayed here before, will stay again.

The hotel is really starting to show wear. Vending didn’t work. No lobby store. Couldn’t even get the front desk to offer me one. The bathroom needed better cleaning. The bed to me was not comfortable. No descent outdoors seating except one bench secluded. Pool gate locked. Would’ve a hotel that at least let’s you sit and enjoy the weather. Breakfast is a joke. The food was old and not good. Maybe a waffle would’ve been ok. Dry donuts. The coffee is good.

Second week there and I was put in a room smelled up mold and oldness. Paid more for the second week than I did the first week with the room not being near as nice. Ended up, checking out a day early as I had to be on another job site in another city at the last minute. Turned in my key card Thursday when I tried to check out. Was told that I couldn’t technically be checked out until Friday because my reservation was made through Hotels.com. I told her no problem I don’t mind paying for the extra night. Just wanted to let them know that I was leaving and give them the key. Friday afternoon I checked my account and I was charged $5.80 for failure to turn in a key at checkout. This key was turned in the day before. The desk clerk even thanked me for turning in the key and not just leaving. I called about the charge Friday afternoon and was told that the manager would take care of the charge that it had to have been a mistake. I left my phone number so that they could call me and verify that everything has been taken care of. It may only be $5.80. But it’s the principal. When I return to Dothan next week, I’ll be staying at the Hampton next-door. Don’t be shady…

Great room for the price and great staff. Only down was the pool was under maintenance. But no other issues. Room was clean, air conditioner worked with no leakage, bed was comfortable no holes, tears or discoloration. The TV worked no problems at all.
