We had an easy check-in and a very nice stay.

Everything was excellent from the second we walked in the door. All of the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby, breakfast area and room were all very clean and well maintained. Overall it was a great stay!

The location was fine. It's just off the interstate and was minutes away from the venue in downtown Alabama that I was visiting. There are multiple food options near by and a newly constructed ChicfilA is being finished up at the moment. Literally, the workers were working at 2 am this morning and still at it at 10 am when we were checking out. The staff was nice and wvwn sent a check in text moments after check in to ensure all was fine. The TV displayed a welcome message to someone who clearly was not me. She did have to pause and restart or something when she was about to hand me my keys, so I'm thinking she switched my room and that is why. I wonder if the person who received my room had a better room. 🤔 I booked the room because of the hotel's high Google rating but I feel like more care could have been given to cleanliness. It wasn't filthy, but I think they may lean more towards quick spot cleaning rather than thorough attention to what a room needs. Also, when wear and tear occurs, hospitality providers should address to sustain the attractiveness of the facility. There was obvious scuffing, chipping, peeling, crumbs, stains, etc that housekeeping and maintenance are not addressing. This gives me pause in any location because the purpose is comfort away from home. I don't want to spend money a day be in a place where I have to worry about shortcuts taken. It wasn't the worst hotel I've stayed in but I guess I'm just kinda done with paying money and not bein
