If i had to tell someone i would say do not waste your money there. Our bed was not made and it was broken. The remote was falling apart. The front desk were rude. Hardly any breakfast and the swimming pool was closed in the middle of the summer days! I was so upset but it was super late and we weren’t able to just pack up and go with our little family. I’m very very Disappointed! Definitely Definitely don’t waste your money. They don’t reach out to the ones that left a bad review only the good ones.

Pool closed...... no update online. Main reason we booked this place was for the pool. Leaking toilet Black mold in shower Burn holes in mattress When we brought this up to staff... boring was done nor was there any type of reimbursement.

No Jacuzzi room advertised. I asked to switch rooms upon arrival. I was told that the room was $150. Expedia commission wasn't added to Jacuzzi room price so I was out of pocket around $187 for the switch. I think it would have been well for that to be explained in advanced. Jacuzzi was barely over a one person jet tub and not enjoyable for more than one person at a time.

This motel was dirty and not at all as pictured online. The door to the room did not close properly which led to water flooding our room. It was dirty, the bathroom was old and rusty. The pool was closed and the property looked abandoned. The phone to the main lobby did not work so every time we needed towels we needed to walk to the main building. This place is NOT professional cleaned as stated in the description. The “cleaning staff” appears to be a husband, wife and their baby in the stroller. I would NEVER recommend anyone staying here. The owners should be ashamed.

Check in took a little longer than usual not sure why. The owners were friendly. The room had patched over holes. The mini fridge didn't work. The bed was comfy but the room reeked of marijuana even though it was a non-smoking room. There was restaurants nearby to eat at. The area was decent. My son and I only stayed one night. The pool was very small and was covered so we couldn't use it. Breakfast was terrible, they had coffee but no sugar and there were only 2 or 3 items to choose from. There wasn't any butter for waffles. There was no one around to ask for items that were unavailable.

Room had german roaches and baby roaches under bed as i scooted it over after killing two live roaches. Its on video but cant share video here. Pool hadnt been worked on in quite a while. Staff was rude upon arrival. (Black female at the desk thats a possible manager). Lamp cord was rigged with electrical tape and electrical plugs were black from being burnt. Bathroom door had a ¾ inch gap that you could see straight into bathroom. Breakfast consisted of pancake mix that you cook yourself with a pancake cooker beside it. Will not be back.

the sheets, pillow cases and towels ALL had stains on them. the window had mold on it. the room SMELLED like mold. the floor was wet, and their breakfast was terrible. they say it’s age 18+ but the woman waited until I got there to tell me it was 21+… I paid $200 for ONE NIGHT OF BS. NEVER again.

It was the nastiest place I have ever stayed! I stood at the desk waiting for someone to check us in for exactly 15 minutes. I know this for sure because no one was at desk. I had walked in at 2 minutes before checkin time and actually watched time as I had to urinate badly after long drive. I was only person waiting. Then finally, after long trip and long wait to checkin, I needed to use restroom desperately, get to room annnnd...there was NO toilet paper in the bathroom at all. 2nd-The fridge was not cold, only tepid and smelt of sour milk and decaying food. Tray in fridge had nasty, old crap rotting in it (took picture). 3rd-Batteries in tv remote were dead. 4th-Hair on sink(took picture). 5th-Microwave had decaying something? in it and inside door of microwave was splattered with something (took picture). We honestly were afraid to touch anything in that room it was so nasty!! Will NEVER stay at an Econo Lodge EVER again!

Could not sleep because of all the noise coming from the upstairs room. HAd to get dresed at 11:45PM to go to desk to get them to do something about it. 3rd night noise again at 11PM. Advertised breakfast. ONly coffee and a waffle.

My typical area lodgings were full and this was a last minute arrangement. The atmosphere is generally cheap and run down. The cars in the parking lot, especially the tarped one under the entry awning gave no false expectations. No remote was available. During my search for the remote I found several empty food wrappers under the beds/tables. Visible, dark mildew was all along shower surround and on shower curtain. Toilet flushed fully after many flushes and the old seat slid all over, probably a safety hazard. Despite wall banging and yelling, neighbors cranked up their personal sound system at 1am and didn’t stop before I left around 5am, as though I was paying for entry to a block party instead of a shower and few hours of sleep before I had to go back to work. I put headphones in to drown that out as I had no expectation of help from front desk. While checking in, the attendant was on a personal call on speaker phone the whole transaction. Also during that point, another patron came in to get their keycard programmed as they had gone all the way to their room and it hadn’t worked. The attendant was unapologetic and only annoyed. Worst experience at a hotel in the last decade for me, easily. I should’ve saved the money, showered at work and slept in my car. Wouldn’t send an enemy there.

Toilet flushed fully after many flushes and the old seat slid all over, probably a safety hazard. Despite wall banging and yelling, neighbors cranked up their personal sound system at 1am and didn’t stop before I left around 5am, as though I was paying for entry to a block party instead of a shower and few hours of sleep before I had to go back to work. I put headphones in to drown that out as I had no expectation of help from front desk. While checking in, the attendant was on a personal call on speaker phone the whole transaction. Also during that point, another patron came in to get their keycard programmed as they had gone all the way to their room and it hadn’t worked. The attendant was unapologetic and only annoyed. Worst experience at a hotel in the last decade for me, easily. I should’ve saved the money, showered at work and slept in my car. Wouldn’t send an enemy there.

This hotel has very sweet staff members that checked me in quickly. I requested to change from a double to a King due to my children not coming and they make the room change without any issue. The front desk associate showed me where the room was, even opened the door for me! The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable, and I was surprised by the difference between how much nicer this Econolodge Northport is when compared to the one in Tuscaloosa. Breakfast was great, they allowed me to get coffee early since I am an early riser. They provided me with more towels with a positive attitude. I will definitely be returning next time I need to stay overnight at a hotel.

What I would of liked to have the room I reserved. What I not like what I reserved 2 doubles. Management called and cancelled reservation 1 hr before check in. then offered us a king room that the ac stopped working the management said open window would bring us a fan. No fan was ever brought. Next night we were moved to a different room that the ac worked and we had king bed with sleep sofa, nice room. The complimentary breakfast was not available on either day, as the doors were locked and nothing out for breakfast. No money returned for the room with no ac only received I am sorry by management. The reason we picked this hotel was for the complementary breakfast and paid more than other hotels in the area that did not offer breakfast. We had a funeral to attend and this experience was not helpful nor what we expected..

It was the nastiest place I have ever stayed! I stood at the desk waiting for someone to check us in for exactly 15 minutes. I know this for sure because no one was at desk. I had walked in at 2 minutes before checkin time and actually watched time as I had to urinate badly after long drive. I was only person waiting. Then finally, after long trip and long wait to checkin, I needed to use restroom desperately, get to room annnnd...there was NO toilet paper in the bathroom at all. 2nd-The fridge was not cold, only tepid and smelt of sour milk and decaying food. Room had german roaches and baby roaches under bed as i scooted it over after killing two live roaches. Its on video but cant share video here. Pool hadnt been worked on in quite a while. Staff was rude upon arrival. (Black female at the desk thats a possible manager). Lamp cord was rigged with electrical tape and electrical plugs were black from being burnt. Bathroom door had a ¾ inch gap that you could see straight into bathroom. Breakfast consisted of pancake mix that you cook yourself with a pancake cooker beside it. Will not be back.

The night clerk was nice. The a/c worked. Breakfast was advertised, but there was none, including no coffee. There is no coffee in the room or lobby. The hair dryer did not work. There were not enough towels or soap. The day clerk was asleep and not minding the desk at 6:45am. I will go elsewhere. Even the price doesn’t justify the lack of attention.

the sheets, pillow cases and towels ALL had stains on them. the window had mold on it. the room SMELLED like mold. the floor was wet, and their breakfast was terrible. they say it’s age 18+ but the woman waited until I got there to tell me it was 21+… I paid $200 for ONE NIGHT OF BS. NEVER again.

Could not sleep because of all the noise coming from the upstairs room. HAd to get dresed at 11:45PM to go to desk to get them to do something about it. 3rd night noise again at 11PM. Advertised breakfast. ONly coffee and a waffle.

Property is fine. staff is friendly and welcoming. If I were to be super-picky... the coffee had loose coffee grounds in it. Pretty sure a deep-cleaning of coffee dispenser nozzle would clean-out the loose grounds. But, really, all was just fine and we had a lovely visit with our college student for Family weekend.

Reserved a non smiling room. On arrival the room was heavily smoked. Was offered a second room next door to that one. Room was also heavily smoked and this one had multiple cigarette burns on the furniture the bed and sheets. Return the keys to the front desk requested a refund that was denied, requested a partial refund that was denied. We left the property and found another suitable hotel that had an actual non-smoking room available. The hotel was mostly vacant so I'm not sure why they couldn't find a more suitable room to put us in unless the others were worse than those. A dispute has been filed for the charge. It was beyond the cancellation time but it is my opinion it's a breach of contract if you don't provide what was reserved. Check in Clerk was nice however she could not make decisions and had to rely on calling the owner, who never directly spoke to us.

It's in a convenient location, but that was really the only perk. The photos misrepresent the state of the room(s), which have seen better days. For example, the luggage rack was pitted with rust stains. The sheet cover for the pull-out sofa bed was stained. In general, the room felt like it needed a good scrub down. I was significantly disappointed, seeing as the cost per night is grossly inflated during graduation weekend. I feel the price I paid was not worth the state of the room, especially for just a one-night stay. I wouldn't return.
