Prior to the trip, there was an incident with my booking and the customer service manager. Richard was extremely helpful. When we arrived, there were no luggage buggies to help us get our luggage up and the response was we just had to wait for one to be returned, which may be the normal case. The air condition never really got super cool. Other than that, the shower was great beach super close and beautiful and breakfast was plentiful and also very good especially the omelette station.

The view was great even though the balcony was tiny. It was obvious the hotel had some remodeling. The bottom front of the shower was missing pieces, the toilet moved not just the seat, the bi-fold door to the bathroom did not close well, the vanity lighting was poor, I could not get the Keurig to work properly & the mini fridge freezer door was busted. I believe the most annoying thing was trying to watch tv. The sound did not match actors lips!! Employees were great! Don’t stay on the first floor. Registration desk, entry to hotel & serving/eating breakfast is really close to rooms.

A couple ways this hotel goes above and beyond the expected: 1) made to order omelets for breakfast was a hit and usually not something you get unless you pay for breakfast and stay at a resort. 2) complimentary bag of ice from front desk to fill your cooler for a day on the beach.

Alarm went off in our room at 5:58 am. I turned it off and then heard several other alarms going off in rooms around me. That was weird. The building is older, it’s not fancy. It is a great location, right on the beach and near shopping and restaurants. It’s very cheap compared to other hotels in the area. The bed was a little squeaky and not the most comfortable but we did sleep. Pillows are tiny but we brought our own. Shower handle broke off but my husband is handy and he put it back on. Lol. This sounds worse than it is though. The staff was so very kind and friendly which is refreshing and the building is clean. Haven’t had breakfast yet but I’ve heard it’s good. Looking forward to it. I would definitely stay here again. Good value hotel. Skip it if you are used to higher end luxury tho.

Gorgeous room with a direct view of the Gulf. Amenities were great. Ice machines, washer/driers available. Daily housekeeping, which is unheard of anymore. Breakfast bar included a made to order omelette bar. Pool was nice, but not heated. Parking was safe. Close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment for kids. Can’t say enough nice things. This was a gem!

Loved this place. They even have free Snowcones and at breakfast, they setup an omelet station which was great. The elevators were slow, and beds seemed a little smaller than a queen, but overall it was a great place on the beach.

My husband and I had a really nice stay at this hotel. While our view wasn’t the best, it didn’t take away from our enjoyment. The room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the daily housekeeping service for making the beds, new towels and sweeping out beach sand. The breakfast area looked well stocked although we ate only minimally. The one suggestion we both had in that regard is to put the bread for toast into the display with tongs. There was a bag of bread that all the guests were reaching into and that was a big turn off. We definitely did not want any toast for that reason. You just never know if people have clean hands and chances are there’s quite a bit of contamination happening with that procedure. As far as the beach, we really appreciated the quick and direct access. While we didn’t use the pool, it looked nice with plenty of chairs and pool towels. This hotel is within walking distance of grocery stores and restaurants. Staff was nice. Definitely would stay at this hotel again. Much cheaper than an expensive VRBO with high cleaning fees.

The rooms are a lot smaller than expected. There was hair in the bed sheets and shower. The elevator had a horrible stench. The breakfast omelets were amazing.

The breakfast option was great, however the cleanliness of the rooms could be better, the microwave provided wasn’t clean upon arrival, and the bathroom have some mold too as you’re about to step in the shower (between the wall and the baseboards of the bathroom, the baseboard was unsticking), not the best cleaning. Overall there could be better cleaning around the hotel.

The room was very clean and the front desk and housekeeping staff were great. Came back every day to a spotless room and clean towels. The breakfast was also good with freshly made to order omelets. Not just buffet style. We would stay there again.

Location, parking and easy beach access are the only reasons to give this property 3 stars. Overall, the property and room were outdated, not clean and our room smelled terribly of a strong odor covering smoke. Overpriced for a hotel in this shape.

Floor was dirty. Hadn’t been mopped. Walls paper thin. Neighbor had sneezing fit and it sounded like he was under our bed. Sink wobbly. Nice access to beach. Very nice reception staff.

The room was barely tolerable, very tiny. The balcony is 24inches wide. The room wasn’t not very clean. A previous customers tooth brush was by the sink. The shower handle was broken. The dayshift staff was incredibly rude and hateful. My family will never stay at this establishment again.

I have photos to support this review. I would not stay here again. If we had our child with us, we would have not stayed at all. The majority of hotels were also booked. The cleanliness was very concerning. Mold found several places. The two worst areas were in our shower (6th floor) and the ice maker right outside the elevator on the 6th floor. The ice maker had so much mold in it that when ice was dispensed, black specs accompanied the ice… The rolling chain in our room was covered in rust, the ceiling had black spots on it. I did not try the breakfast due to the condition of the hotel, I was not risking it. I only encountered staff upon check in and the house keepers which were all friendly. Close beach access. Overall, it is not worth the cost to stay here, find something else, the smell of mold upon entrance is overwhelming.

Easy check-in/check-out. The full breakfast is really nice with many options. Only complaint is loud tv coming from neighboring room after 2am, quite annoying. Not a fan of the opaque windows on the bathroom doors and not a fan of the double bathroom doors that pull together and don't lock. But, not a game changer. Nice pool area with plenty of chairs, and great beach access. We will book again.

Loved this hotel! Being able to walk down to the beach straight from the deck area/pool. Having a microwave and fridge in the room was great. I will say the room was very small, especially for a family of 4. We were very cramped. But other than that, no complaints.

Our room had an oceanfront balcony with a great view and the provided breakfast was excellent (including individually prepared omelets). Our room seemed too small with a somewhat inconvenient layout. In general, the hotel could benefit from some minor maintenance.

Everything was great except for the size of the room. The room we viewed as we were booking is not the room we ended up with. No place to sit except for the bed and one roll around chair. The room was so small I couldn’t get the luggage cart and myself into the room. The location is excellent! Didn’t have to drive to far for anything we wanted to do. Actually could walk to a lot of things.

Very friendly staff. It’s a property that prides itself on the property condition for a restful sleep but the bed frames made awful metal on metal noises with any movement, which woke us up over and over again. Some sort of white substance on the wall by the bed. 😳 It was nice to have breakfast complimentary. Definitely need more than two waffle makers. Very small pool and a lot of tiles missing.

It’s a property that prides itself on the property condition for a restful sleep but the bed frames made awful metal on metal noises with any movement, which woke us up over and over again. Some sort of white substance on the wall by the bed. 😳 It was nice to have breakfast complimentary. Definitely need more than two waffle makers. Very small pool and a lot of tiles missing.

Super helpful staff, all of them!! They took my name and number and called me as soon as my room was ready…an hour early, and no extra fee!! Excellent location! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Orange Beach!! It was a short walk to the beach, so easy to carry all our gear and get it set up. No need to move the car, everything you might need is across the highway within walking distance. Five stars!

This is the second year in a row we have stayed here, and honestly, we will probably continue to stay here anytime we are in Orange Beach. The room was nice and the staff was nice, with the exclusion of one older man, but we only saw him once. There is a lady there, I believe a manager, who is absolutely amazing though!

My experience at this hotel was disappointing. Upon arrival, one of the staff members was using a paintbrush to touch up the ceiling near the entrance, which gave an unprofessional first impression. The front desk agent was not welcoming—there was no smile or effort to make guests feel comfortable. I asked if there were any other ocean view rooms available on higher floors, but the agent simply said, “This is the last one, sorry.” However, I later found additional ocean view rooms still available online, which made me feel misled. The utility room next door remained wide open all day. The stairwell had a strong chemical odor, and the pool area was poorly maintained with towels left scattered around. Additionally, the WiFi did not work at all during my stay. When I contacted the front desk, I was given a toll-free number for assistance, but it was unhelpful and the issue was never resolved. Our room was clean but we had problems with the A/C the whole week. At one time it was dripping into the room below us. The maintenance man on site was very willing to help us but it just would not really cool. Three of the ice machines on site were not working. We ask about them repeatedly. The breakfast was good with many options. We made a mistake and thought we had another day to stay. The hotel notified us that we were to leave immediately but we were on the beach. We hurried as quickly as possible to our room to gather our belongings but the staff and manager kept telling us we had to get our immediately. I offer to pay the late departure fee but was told we were past that and to get out now. I apologized that I had made a mistake but all I was told was to get out right now. We gathered everything in our room and we were out in 25 minutes. We went to the front desk to tell them that we were out and not to charge us anything else. There were some unpleasant words exchanged between the manager, Ray and my husband. We have never been treated like this or talked to like this in any establishment. I know it was my fault, and I accept that and apologized and we were only 30min past late check out time. However it could have been handled differently. I would not recommend this place.

Our bed and pillows were very comfortable. The AC worked very well and we did not hear much noise at all even though our room was next to the elevator. The omelete bar was amazing. The chef did an excellent job. All of the staff that I encountered at the front desk were more than willing to help with my questions. Everyone was so pleasant. Love that the hotel was on the beach. Would definitely stay there again!

Sleep Inn was comfortable. The breakfast was really good. There is also beach access so it made trips to the beach easy. This hotel is also in a great location as well. The only downside I would say is the bathroom is small and the AC could have worked better. All in all it was a great place to stay for vacation!

The location is great for many dining options and access to the beach. Chair and umbrella rentals are great because it’s a smaller hotel so you aren’t as crowded. I do recommend the ocean view.

Nice hotel and staff. Breakfast is awesome where a staff will take order and prepare your omelette at the spot instantly. Breakfast is very good. 24/7 coffee. Cleaning staff is very co-operative. I had a pleasant stay. Only one concern I have is the room standard. It’s need some repair work like broken bathroom room door, no lock at the bathroom. Unfinished wall and specifically there is no glass plate in the microwave.

Very clean room, good breakfast, including omelette station. I got clean towels every day which isn’t necessary in this day and age! Older gentleman at front desk obviously didn’t understand my accent when I asked about extending my stay and he wasn’t very polite, but that’s a small complaint. Would definitely stay here again.

In the convenient location. Staff was very helpful and sweet in the breakfast was very good. It’s a free breakfast and they have a station with workers set up where they’ll make you a fresh omelette. They do take tips, but it’s free. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Check is was easy with helpful and nice staff. Room was clean and spacious. Water pressure in shower was poor, on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was usual fare, but had a build your own omelet station that the cooked for you! Pool is on the smaller side with lots of chairs and umbrellas. Beach, excellent! Close to restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Will go back! And free snow cones!
