Would stay again, pool was closed

Breakfast was good. None of the outside door locks worked. We had to walk up to the main entrance every time.

There were 3 bugs in the room over the course of my 3 day stay. Of course, I should have moved rooms immediately, but I saw the first bug after I had already gone to bed after a long drive. When speaking to the manager, he acted as if I was in the wrong b/c I wasn't in a position to change rooms then either. I was headed out to planned activities. They also didn't have after king room to move me to. I saw 2 more bugs before I checked out. They gave me a 1 night refund & my key stopped working every night. I had to have a new key made each night that I came in.

Room access cards didn't work. We had to inform the Help Desk. So, they sent a technician who replaced the lock itself and got a new key card. The whole process took an hour so it caused inconvenience as we were trying to get ready to go out, had to wait until whole procedure of key replacement/ new key got sorted out. Similarly, every room here has got the same problem.

It was great. The only problem we had was the card reader on our door didn’t work. It took a couple days to get it repaired. The floor was not as clean as my wife thought it should be. The hostess Sharon went above and beyond to help us with the issue with the door lock.

The front desk lady was very nice and helpful. The elevator was a rattling death trap and the entire place smelled bad. One of the floor tiles in my room was broken a d loose. Poorly lit throughout

The woman at the front desk was lovely and very helpful. The truck drivers/semi-truck drivers took up 75% of the parking lot leaving not spaces for cars The old men smoking cigars right outside the door were rude and vile

The pool could have been alittle cleaner but other than that everything was great. Will stay here again.

Hotel was excellent. Location solid, room was big and comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Tons of food options close by, the BBQ restaurant within walking distance, Creekside, was very good. Free breakfast was outstanding. The coffee machine had a number of options and the yogurt machine was a nice touch. Property was slightly run down, but nicely maintained. Only three downsides were no laundry room (we were on a baseball trip and needed to clean uniforms), no one ever cleaned my room during our stay (which I hate; just make my bed, run a vaccuum, and give me new towels and I am good), and the TV was very difficult to operate

The room we stayed in had severe water damage from the bathroom, the carpet in front of it was soaking wet and there was a terrible wet and musky smell in the room it smelled like mold/mildew. We informed staff but couldn't be moved bc they were sold out. However upon checking out staff member stated they knew it was like that bc a prior guest flooded the room. There's no doubt it still has issues with the carpet being drenched! I find it unacceptable and dangerous to peoples health that they continue to rent this room, I personally am allergic to mold/ mildew and have been sick since our stay. Get it fixed or don't rent the room!!

Bath room was moldy.took pictures. 2nd floor room had bad highway noise.carpet was damp feeling and i had to wear shoes in the room as it was discoloring my feet

Me and my girlfriend was spending our anniversary weekend with them and on our final day early in the morning my girlfriend was awaken by a roach crawling on her face and I went downstairs 3 separate times and was told there’s nothing they can do since I booked with Expedia and that she could only give me 1000 best western reward points I am highly disappointed and will not be stay with this company again and will be contacting corporate regarding the matter

The room was extremely dirty. Stains on the walls and ceiling as well as some sort of sauce all over the air conditioning unit and filter. The staff that helped us check in was extremely nice and accommodating.

Wet carpet by the air conditioner. Wet socks and made the whole room smell musty. Load noise from tractor trailers using thier brake to stop outside.

We were just staying for one night traveling through on family vacation and we found a very large live cockroach in our room! I have small kids and this is just unacceptable!!!

Don't stay in room123! It has the most awful smell! Smells wet and musky like mild and mildew. Upon arrival we told the front desk clerk tried to help, she sprayed febreeze to help but it only lasted so long. They were sold out and had no other rooms to move us to, which I get given the weekend we stayed, it wasn't her fault at all! When checking out I informed the other clerks about the smell and that the carpet by the bathroom was soaking wet, she told me a previous guest had flooded that room, so they were aware of the issue prior to our stay but still have guests staying in it. I'm allergic to mold and mildew and I've felt like crap since being in that room! This is not only dangerous but completely unacceptable! We have a reservation there for the next concert we're attending in a few weeks,but now we will probably be canceling and find another place to stay!

I reserved 3 rooms for me and my family. Check in was smooth and the rooms are spacious and clean.

The property needs updating. Room was very clean but cleaning solution irritated our allergies. Strong smelling cleaner. Front staff was very very nice though which helps. Ok for cheap 1 night stay...not for family or romance.

Pros: Friendly staff Clean and safe Great, free breakfast Con: Super hard bed- I ended up having to spend the night in the arm chair. My back hurt too much to lay on the bed.

The beds were like laying on plywood.

The tv in our room couldn’t regulate the volume. It sought loud the. Soft and back and forth the entire time.

The air conditioner sounded like a motorcycle

Stayed a second time while attending a concert at the nearby amphitheater. Everything was clean and functional; the only issues that may annoy people are the a/c units are quite loud in some rooms (I didn't have this problem on my previous stay; if management reads this, the noisy unit is in room 215) and the windows aren't soundproof, so you will hear I-65 at night as the highway is immediately next to the hotel (not a problem for me, but may be one for light sleepers). Overall, however, you can't beat the price if you reserve well in advance, and you can park at the hotel and walk a short distance to your concert without having to pay extra for parking. The free breakfast and new coffee machine in the lobby are also an excellent feature, and the staff was very welcoming at check-in. I absolutely will stay here again.

Check-in was a little long, issue between hotels.com and hotel. I may have been charged by both entities. Breakfast was pretty good, something for everyone. Room 302 was a very large room. Shower was real good, nice smelling toiletries, plenty of towels, etc. In-suite coffee, frig and microwave. Highway traffic is very noisy but ear plugs help. Bottled water provided at check-in. Hot chocolate, marshmallows, chips in lobby. Didn’t use outdoor pool this trip.

Ms. Tami, greeted us with a warm welcome at the front desk. She was very sweet and pleasant. The room was clean, quiet and cozy. Will definitely be returning!

Noone explained late checkout time and front desk personnel was very rude while on the phone explaining to me that late chexkout time is 1200pm while phone call time took place at 1155 am. Mind, i requested late check out at 635 am with no definite time given. Night shift employees were friendly. The breakfast food is horrible. I would not feed it to my dog. The milk had clumps and tasted like poison.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything from the lobby to the room was clean. The breakfast had a good selection and I left full each morning. I have stayed at two other Best Westerns since then and they are my new go to when I travel.

The attendant was gone helping a customer I guess and took 15 minutes to come and check us in. The bed was like a rock floor, very uncomfortable. Everything was very average.

From a service perspective, this is probably the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. I checked in when I arrived around 11:00 p.m. The lady at the desk said she would be there until 6:00 a.m. I went to my room on the 3rd floor in the cards didn't work in the lock. When I went back down to the desk, no one was there. For the next half hour I knocked on doors, rang the bell, yelled to the back, walked around the desk, and went outside to call for her. I even notified hotels.com and had Best Western customer service call the hotel, but still there was no answer. I was at the point of either having to sleep in the lobby or go to another hotel, when she finally came running in from outside and acted stunned that I needed help. She said I was outside, why didn't you come out there and get me? I actually did step outside twice and call her name very loudly. She wasn't within sight or hearing, apparently. I finally figured out she was napping in her car. She proceeded to tell me that she wasn't surprised it didn't work, since it didn't work the night before either. Then she took me up there to use her master key, and it didn't work. They finally managed to get the door open long enough for me to go into the room, but I couldn't leave bc there was no working key. By then I had very little time left to sleep before my morning meeting. Also, when it comes to places to charge your phone or devices near the bed, the equipment is very outdated. I will never stay here again.

We stayed here for a concert we attended at the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre and this hotel was perfect… great rates, super nice staff (shout out to Sharon… she was so nice!) and we were able to walk to our show!

Located very close to Oak Mountain State Park. The breakfast was the best i can remember at a hotel! They didnt skimp on anything!!

We stayed one night traveling grom Florida to Indiana. This place was great! Front desk ladies were super nice. Room was nice and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner was not noisy. Breakfast wss good with different options each day. Cost was very reasonable. BBQ restaurant next door was within walking distance and very good. We will definitely stay there again.

Noisy fan in bathroom, air conditioner was noisy too. Staff and other amenities were great. Served an excellent breakfast.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to PCB, very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again and the breakfast was one of the best continental breakfast we’ve had.

This is my second time staying here in 3 months. Convenient location, nice staff, clean & comfy rooms. Great breakfast--the biscuits & gravy are a real treat for a northerner like me.

We had a good stay. The room was nice, clean, comfortable, and well kept. The pool is outdoors and not heated. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. The elevator had an odd hydraulics odor (which we were warned about). On balance, I would recommend the place.
