I’ve stayed in a lot of budget motels. Key West Inn Wetumpka might be the nicest I ever stayed in. Clean, smelled good, and they even had an outdoor area where I could smoke a cigar. Thank you!

My friend and I chose this hotel for the convenient location and price. I didnt think to request a ground floor room at booking but when we arrived, the clerk was understanding and was able to locate one for us. When we walked into the room, it smelled so good and it was very clean! We only stayed 1 night but I would definitely stay here again!

There were 3 live bugs and one dead that we saw, it’s clear they don’t really clean like move anything and vacuum the corners. When I went to the front desk and informed the guy that they probably need to spray for bugs because there were love ones he didn’t apologize or seemed to care. Also when I mentioned he might want to make sure they are actually cleaning decent he said we tell housekeeping to do a good job but sometimes they don’t do it. That was it no apologies nothing. For $100 a night it’s definitely not worth it.

Noise and the handicap room is not a true handicap room because the toilet is the same as the others and the shower is in a tub and the handicap person with us could not take a shower because she couldn’t step in the tub for a shower!! We seen a roach in our room and killed it and we didn’t see anymore! Other than that we had a good stay!!

Not a bad hotel. They need to update some features. Sheets had spots on them so i wasnt comfortable and bed spreads definitely need to be updated. Breskfast could have been a whole lot better. Overall not a bad place to stay.

The location is great and the staff is absolutely amazing.. my only problem was the heat/air unit.. the buttons are rubbed completely off so you cant adjust the temp and the buttons are almost completely broken

The facility was an older motel that had been somewhat updated, but the air conditioner was not cooling the room as it should. The shower controls were confusing and took a bit to figure out, but it worked well. It was very clean. I got a non smoking room, but someone smoked outside my door and threw down cigarette butts around my car so it smelled smoky. The staff was nice. I will probably not stay here again.

Just an amazing nice room & quaint hotel. My room 109 was recently remodeled & just gorgeous. My standards of cleaning is very high they exceeded it. Way underpriced. Once the weekend crowd settled down it was amazing quiet to be full. Check in was a breeze & they were nice. Loved it.

I arrived and the attendant didn’t have a reservation for me. He stayed the reservation wasn’t valid because they don’t do business with your company I ended up having to pay again directly to the hotel. I called your company and after several minutes of holding to get a resolution. I was finally given to someone that did not refund me as promised. Please refund my money ASAP and you won’t be bothered with me ever again. It was humiliating to say the least.

Tried to charge extra fees and staff not as professional as should have been about it !!! I paid ahead of time and when we actually got there to check in there were more added fees I did not know about or agree to pay 😡😡😡

Love this place. We have now stayed here twice in the last 8 day's. Lol we plan on continuing to visit this facility. The employees are super nice, very friendly & helpful. We've had no issues checking in or out or during our stay. Thank you & see you again on our next visit.

The hotel was on the site and I reserved it. When I arrived they inform me they don’t do online reservations. I showed proof and he still denied my reservation. Luckily I had purchased the protection. Took forever to get ahold of someone to get a refund. Ended up coming out of pocket $200 more dollars to stay somewhere else. Be aware to never book with Key West Inn Wetumpka Alabama. First hotel ever that I’ve stayed at that doesn’t even have a computer at the front desk to look up reservations or guest information.

When I made the reservation online i had 2 adults, but at last minute I had my grandaugher and great grandson(4) to come with me, the check in clerk was rude, saying I had originally had 2 adults and he could see while he was looking out the doore into my car that my grandaughter and great grandson was in the car and tried to charge me and extra $15 per person, for 1 room with 2 double beds, HARD beds. The room was clean, bathroom was clean. Next morning my grandaughter went downstairs for the Continental Breakfast (4) year old wanted milk, open container of warm Milk no top and cold coffee. I will never suggest to ANY one to come there.

AC did not perform keeping room cool. I paid Hotels.com for my room. When I arrived the hotel charged me. They asked me to contact Hotels.com asking them to refund what I paid. I refused and they told me the only way to get a refund was to come back to hotel so they could process it. Very inconvenient. They were fortunate I had not left town.

Stayed two nights. Check -in was efficient. Property is old, but our room and common area were90% updated. Age showed in hardware and some paint, but mostly fine. Just basics were provided like soap and shampoo. Good linens, comfortable bed. Average HVAC kept room plenty cool with medium noise level. Controls on AC unit had covers broken off, so tricky to adjust. Slim breakfast offerings and no decaf coffee. Location pretty good for other services. Lots of day traffic which is noticable in room, but fairly quiet at night. Staff does show care for property and cleanliness. Property served our needs--good enough for night's sleep but not for spending time in. Better than two Super 8's we were in before. Economy level, so you takes your chances. This one is OK.

Stayed two nights. Check -in was efficient. Property is old, but our room and common area were90% updated. Age showed in hardware and some paint, but mostly fine. This is a very old hotel needs to be upgraded immediately we had a bug crawling in the bathroom the shower stopper was broke the shower rods were Rusty the floor rug is very old hair in the shower and the sink smells of mold and old smell
