Super 8 by Wyndham Casa Grande

Somebody should clean up all the trash on the back slope behind the parking lot. The lot itself is clean enough.

When we opened our king bed room the lights were on and the covers and pillows were messed up as if someone had been laying on the bed. They gave us a new room but it had 2 queen beds. They were doing construction downstairs and the chemical smell was terrible. We were told that they were putting all guests on the second floor to avoid the smell and that the construction would be limited to the downstairs. On our 3rd and last night we got back to the room at 10:30pm and they had moved the construction upstairs and in the room right next to ours. They were still working with loud fans at 10:30 at night. All of the workers had on protective breathing masks because the smell was so toxic and yet the guests were expected to stay there. They only stopped working when we forced the issue.

The cost of a hotel room for the night of Weds, 24th, in Casa Grande, AZ, was expensive, so, I chose a “slightly less” expensive hotel - which happened to be a Super 8 (I saw it was by Wyndham so I assumed (wrongly) that it would be better quality.) (In most other hotels, the cost would have made it a “good” hotel) - I didn’t expect the hotel to look so dingy, or that the carpeting would have dirt and other substances on it - both inside and outside the room. I also didn’t expect it to have NO elevator! This is 2024 - who doesn’t think an elevator is necessary - especially for those of us getting older. The lighting in the hotel room wasn’t particularly good, and the bathroom tub was really bad looking - so bad that my husband would not bathe in it. The towels were minimal - definitely not enough of them. The mattress was terrible! Hard as a brick and not good quality - if you touched the mattress on the side, it would start to slide off the bed. I’m sure there were other problems, but I can’t think of them at this time. The staff that we interacted with were fine, and unfortunately, the best part of this trip. I will never return to a Super 8.

We had a horrible experience in Tucumcari, NM at a Super 8; however, this was a night and day difference. The staff were helpful, I was thrilled with how clean and safe the hotel was, and the best part was it was off the main road into town, but hidden behind a IHOP. No breakfast was offered, but I could careless about that. They had a juice machine and snacks out. If I wanted breakfast, the IHOP was just a walk away or they would deliver to us. They all took pride in their work and a lot of love went into this hotel. I recommend HIGHLY for a good night sleep and a wonderful atmosphere to stay at this hotel. I saved some money, plus it was easy to navigate. They saw I was disabled and put us on the closest room near one of the side doors that goes directly to the handicap parking. They cared and that goes a long way in my book. Well worth the money and I will stay again. I left a big tip for the experience we had and they deserved every extra dollar.

Needed a step stool to get into bed, none was provided????? While wating TV, it did a "reset" in the middle of progam I was watching????? After checking ID at check-in (I\'m 76 yo) was given 2nd floor room, there\'s no elevator? I\'m single, had to totel bags to 2nd floor.

I wound up leaving after 1 night of my 2 night stay. Lost about $150 by doing so. The ceiling was in poor appearance, with a terrible patch job. The carpets looked like they needed vacuuming, the bed was SO uncomfortable (WAY too firm), the walls were so thin that I got woke up in the middle of the night when the man in the room next to me decided to make a phone call and put it on speaker for like 2 hours talking loud enough that I could hear the conversation. Reception was not at all friendly, soda machine didn't work, no ice bucket in room, hallway was absolutely FREEZING. Overall terrible experience, and WAY overpriced for what it was.

The sheets on the bed were stained with pee! The pool water was nasty brown

Clean rooms, comfortable bed. Don't count on the free breakfast, Ihop is close by

My experience was not good. We had been evacuated out of our house due to a downed power line so drove down the road to Super 8 to get some sleep. The lady at the front desk never made eye contact and did not have any greetings or words to say. She just went through the motions. I was quite surprised. Upon leaving at 3 a.m., I noticed that my bed had a tissue under the sheets and what looked like small fuid stains. Room 104. I felt sick to my stomach. Please do better Super 8.

Let us check in early. NICE ROOM. Friendly. But the most important thing? The room was CLEAN. That’s pretty basic, but it matters.

Horrible condition. Checked into room to find vacuum cleaner, chemicals on the counter , dirty towels and pillow cases on the floor and in the shower. Room was filthy with a bloody trash can sitting on the counter near the sink. Got a new room and that too, wasn’t much better. Dirty towels and mold all over the wall near the bathroom door. Never again !

An order facility, but it was clean and and well maintained. Outside area was clean well maintained.

Clean towels, clean, bedding, clean bathroom. Poor furnishings, I had a very large room, but nothing in it. Desk and a desk chair, and a king size bed. There was a second bedroom, but it only had an ironing board hanging on the wall. Other than that, the room was empty no bed, no desk, nothing in there's. To watch TV I had to sit on the bed. The bed was over 15 feet away from the TV. I asked them if they had a chair that could go in the room like the one showed in the ad and she said that was just an old picture they did away with all the chairs a long time ago. This place is a fine place for an overnight rest. I just need to get a more luxurious hotel when I’m gonna be there for a couple of days.

air conditioning was very noisy

Only issue was the bed frames are sheets of wood on a frame. The wood sheets are several inches oversize of the mattress so your either banging your knees, calves or shins. Not to mention if you your not careful the mattress will actually slide off since there is nothing to hold it place.

We were pleased with our room. Good bathroom, shower was very nice. No problem with anything in the room. Bed was comfy. Will book again.

Initially I booked a king handicap room , When I arrived the reservation was changed somehow and got a handicap room with 2 queens . The second day we were switched to the handicap king room, However neither of these rooms contained a sofa , only desk with uncomfortable chair. There’s plenty of room In either room for a comfortable small sofa to where you can seat and relax rather than seating on the bed. Will stay again provided comfortable seating is added.

The price has gotten too expensive. The hotel is old and showing signs of wear. Super 8 is always clean and extremely friendly. But the price will have me looking elsewhere.

No breakfast was offered, but I could careless about that. They had a juice machine and snacks out. If I wanted breakfast, the IHOP was just a walk away or they would deliver to us. They all took pride in their work and a lot of love went into this hotel. I recommend HIGHLY for a good night sleep and a wonderful atmosphere to stay at this hotel. I saved some money, plus it was easy to navigate. They saw I was disabled and put us on the closest room near one of the side doors that goes directly to the handicap parking. They cared and that goes a long way in my book. Well worth the money and I will stay again. I left a big tip for the experience we had and they deserved every extra dollar.

I was a late arrival and the young lady on staff had other guests in front of me she was please knowledgeable and acknowledged me when I came in and that was nice to be acknowledged in that way and my check in was done and my room was clean best and the two nights were a pleasant experience

The hotel was ok the staff was great

Majority of the staff was very friendly and helpful...but when i first arrived to check-in the lady at the front desk wasnt super polite and she charged for someone elses room which i already reserved my room through expedia..thank goodness i caught it on bank statement before i checked out of facility..woman at desk that i brought this to her attention she was very kind and had great customer service and she reversed the extra charge on card

Great location for our stay. Perfect room location on 1st floor and by lobby/entrance. Didn't think about asking for it, but benefitted from ADA setup. Nice size room and amenities. Met all our needs. Thank you.

Location felt safe. On the downside, the shower was missing a shower curtain. I did request for a shower curtain but it was not installed. I also requested clean towels and did not receive any. The reason I did not insist was because we had a reception to go to.

Night attendant was nice and the day attendant not so much. The rooms carpet had not been vacuumed and the bathroom had puddle in front of the toilet. The bathroom fan/light was extremely loud .. no breakfast… at Wyndham!

Nonsmoking room smelled like cigarette smoke. Expedia ad claimed breakfast was included, there was no breakfast offered. Front desk claims they have no offer Breakfast in years! Well not stay at Super8 again.

Said included breakfast. In reality. Coffee machine. Juice machine. Costco granola bars. That is NOT breakfast!

I booked this place online, it was dirty. Breakfast was energy bars, juice and coffee. I don’t recommend this place not will I be staying here ever again.
