There were cops that came in and out of the hotel looking for people hiding out in rooms. Staff was asked to provide the room number for someone in they were looking for. There were patrons sleeping on breakfast booths waiting for rooms.

The cops coming through the lobby asking what room certain people are staying in was less than settling... The people with full suitcases and baggage laying down on the breakfast booths waiting for their credit cards to clear made it so I didn't want to eat anything at their breakfast bar.

My only complaint was that breakfast was almost 15 minutes late as we were in a hurry to eat. We needed to eat early because of another appointment. The staff was wonderful, and I blame the monsoon.

The room was clean, but it took 2 days for the elevator to be cleaned after I reported that someone had spilled something sticky on the floor. There was also, what appeared to be, a “used” condom in the hall near the elevator that I reported. That was cleaned up right away, but was still gross!

I love the location of this hotel in close proximity to the freeway. I have chosen to stay here two times within the past three weeks. The hotel feels relatively new and the grounds are always well-maintained. The rooms are well appointed and clean. There are a ton of television channels available. Also, the Wi-Fi is strong and FREE. The pool and jacuzzi are clean and enjoyable. The only negative I experience was the fact that they charge you $5 for parking, which they only tell you when you check-in. The charge isn't what I oppose, it's just that the vast majority of hotels offer FREE parking and have that rate including in the room rate. I would rather they simply increase the room rate by $5 and provide FREE parking. With inflation these days, being told that there is an additional charge for parking seems unnecessary and discouraging.
