Holiday Inn Phoenix/Chandler by IHG

The entire lobby was under renovation that included the all the flooring. Very little notice, when went to breakfast, dust was all over the food and serving dishes, construction noise was so loud that it was difficult to talk at the table. The water supply was shut off all day one day and finally was turned on about 8:00 PM> Again, no notice of anything or apology! When I called to see what the hotel would do as a result of the noise, limited elevator access etc, the attendant said all they would do is cancel my reservation! Not even one hint of apology! My friend who lives there and recommended the property said he will not let any visitors stay there again. I have complained via the surveys you provided and no response from there either!

The room was not clean at all. Visible dust along the wall base trim. The carpet was visibly dirty. We had a pull out sofa bed. We had to get linens from the front desk for the sofa bed. None available in the room.there was not a mattress cover. The sofa bed needs to be replaced. So uncomfortable! The pool area was very nice as well the breakfast area. We have friends to visit in the area, and will not be staying at this establishment again. For the price paid, I would expect more.

Large clean room. Hot water was really hot, water pressure good. Bed was comfortable. Downside: No extra pillow or blanket, no bar soap at all, only gels--minor stuff. Some renovation work was being done--loud noise right outside our door started well before 8am

Actually did not stay at the Holiday Inn Phoenix-Chandler. We booked and when we showed up to check in they did not have the room we booked and paid for. The person at the desk informed us that although we had booked a double, we could have a king bed. Being unwilling to sleep with 4 people in one bed, we left and went elsewhere, after the desk clerk acted like it was difficult to cancel the reservation when they did not have the room they advertised. Very unhappy with the experience we had at Holiday Inn Phoenix-Chandler.

The hotel does not look as it was presented online. When we get there it was under construction and the room is pretty small without any leg room if there is any it's very inconvenient and very poor setting. No couch no tables at all. Overall It needs an upgrade.
