I didn't stay there because I didn't find out until I arrived that the pool was unavailable. That's not on the hotels.com site, and there was no warning in the booking confirmation either. The desk clerk was very helpful and didn't charge a cancellation fee -- it wasn't the clerk's fault, after all -- but this is not a way to do business.

Beautiful clean room and hot shower. I look forward to whenever this Best Western gets their swimming pool repaired. It’s been closed/awaiting renovation since at least 2020. Easy drive from the Best Western to Canyon de Chelly National Monument.

Quick one night stay as we passed through the area. We were coming from west and planned to visit Canyon de Chelly which is super close. Room was what we expected. There was a funky smell when you first came in the room each time... and we had to put the AC on to help get rid of it. Comfortable beds. Bathroom was a bit older in style but served its purpose. Area is a working town... with Canyon de Chelly close by. There are a handful of fast food places and a couple of restaurants.

Wow! Didn’t expect such a great room. Two folding suitcase stands, big thick towels, nice toiletries, crisp bed sheets, very comfortable bed and pillows, good lighting and outlet access. Parking in front of room. Lovely plants and flowers btwn parking space and room. Well lit. Although facility appeared to be full to capacity, it was very quiet.

I think the whole town has a problem with their water system. Off and on the well water becomes very brown with ? sediment. We were give bottled water to drink. We weren't able to shower due to the brown water

Great staff but the AC/heating unit in our room was extremely loud - came on with a boom, then ran for a few minutes, then off, then a few minutes later back on with a boom. Other than that, a great stay. Stayed in a different room last spring and had a 100% great stay.

From check-in to check-out the staff was so helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and beds comfortable. I needed to cancel one night of my stay and they accommodated the change in my reservation even though it was last minute, without any extra charges.

It’s was ok,,,,, place to sleep and take a shower. The water was hot and the room was clean. We arrived a little late and the night attendant wasn’t very nice but other than that it was ok.

The staff was great. When booked the wrong dates came up after confirmation and the front desk handled it with kindness and professionalism. The unit was excellent. The restaurant on site was outstanding. When in the area, we will only stay at BW.

The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was good - diner type food - and service there was great too. The staff at the hotel were very helpful when we needed a couple of things and we were able to park our cargo trailer without issue.

House keeping will just go into your room at 9am very rude and lucky we had a door lock on she couldnt come in . Rooms were cold took half the night to warm up . Payed 120 not worth it .

The rooms are older but very clean. Comfortable and quiet. When we turned on the AC / Heater it had a stagnate odor. Thankfully we didn't need it much since the March weather was very mild. We arrived late (6:30pm) so their restaurant was already closed. Not many choices for eating out.

Food was pretty bad, but not worse than another places in town. You are not going to visit the area for food ..... and I still don't know why it can't reach a mid level. Light bulbs in the room are terrible. Low wattage and white (5000K). every cosy room should have around 2700 - 3000K. It looks like many hotels don't care or don't understand.

Food was pretty bad, but not worse than another places in town. You are not going to visit the area for food ..... and I still don't know why it can't reach a mid level. Light bulbs in the room are terrible. Low wattage and white (5000K). every cosy room should have around 2700 - 3000K. It looks like many hotels don't care or don't understand.

We chose the best Western Chinle because it had the best rating. It met our needs as a base for two nights while we accessed the nearby Canyon de Chelly. There is a hotel at the canyon, but a friend had advised that the food there was awful so that was a main reason for not staying there. The staff was accommodating when we requested extra towels help with directions things of that nature. Chinle Arizona is not a place that one would necessarily choose to visit. We had more issues with the lack of available resources in the town than we did with where we stayed.
