The L Motel - Downtown Flagstaff

The parking was terrific. The location was terrific. He didn’t work the second evening, but I didn’t take the time to complain about it. I’m sure they would’ve fixed it if I would’ve asked them to all in all a terrific value, and it was exactly what I needed for a quick weekend getaway.

Room was nice and everything worked in room.

No or limited on hot water

Poor quality. Door frame so busted I didn't feel like the door securly closed. Not safe! The bathroom was nasty with old rot and stains, made my skin crawl. AC in room would shut completely off after about an hour. Had to be turned back on every time. Ice machine was off, however upon request they turned it on. Staff was very nice. Property was just BAD.

This is a great place, very affordable and has a mini Fridge and a microwave

While the outside is rough the inside of the room had been remodled and was comfortable. There is no phone to contact front office and they only gave us one towel & wash cloth set even though they knew there was going to be three guests.

Double room 2 beds different sizes one newer one ancient good tv hot water in the shower was pinned to wouldnt get more then luke warm water just what u want after a 12hour day!

This is a good value for the money, and internet works well. Close to downtown but not in easy walking distance. No frills, but does have microwave & minifridge.

Doors do not seal, the toilet had mold stain, tub was clogged. But it was the cheapest, had good hot water and water pressure.

Met by the owner who was very approachable and friendly , room had a new bathroom , heated floor and best shower we have had in our first week , convenient location on route 66 large tv fridge and microwave , outside a little tired but overall great value for money thank you

It was the dirtiest motel I never went. And it was far to be my first one. I couldn't sleep because I could totally imagine a cockroach going on the bed ! Carpet was plenty of stains. The bath tub was really old and disgusting. But the worst was the beds : both beds had dirty pillows with stains I prefer not to know for sure what it was. Sheets were also not cleaned. the cabinet in the bathroom was missing a door. The faucet was still with toothpaste on it from the previous renters. It was like someone came, did the bed and left. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but one was enough. we will never go back there and I don't recommend the L motel at all.

It was very dirty and hazardous to anyone's heath and should be condemned. Shut down till they fix the issues or renovate it is very hazardous to anyone's heath to breathing the mold that's everywhere

I wouldn’t stay here again if it was free. The pictures look far better than the actual rooms/ property do. The room was filthy with stains on all the walls, etc. We would not place a single thing on the floor let alone walk on the carpet without shoes.

Towels and bathroom were very stained and thin seemed very old. The pillows were paper, thin. One of our beds had sand in it so I had to sleep on top.

This property needs very deep clean. Found other peoples hair in the bed linen Towels old and thin Bedcover very highly stained Carpets dirty Aircon loud Shower fittings and facets and we not secure and very loose This property needs money spent on it and a big clean up. Not pleasant at all

My husband and I stopped through Flagstaff for one night unexpectedly and needed a pet friendly hotel. We thought this place would be a basic, clean place to stay. Unfortunately, the pictures shown do not match what the facility is actually like. For example, pictures show a clean updated bathroom, but ours had a cabinet with splintered wood, toilet paper roll holder was broken off the wall, flooring was warped, shower had black mildew in all corners, sink was gross.

Just ont dirty stinky paper roll in an horrible bathroom .. Entire room smell like heavy cleaning produc. Food from the other custumer in a dirty refrigerator. Drawer with trash from the last visitor .. Towel smell clean but looks all dirty . At least beds were clean ..

The bedding was very dirty the pillow covers and the bed linen. Refrigerator was not working properly.

A basic motel. The property is old, and definitely looks. The room was very clean, despite the age of the buildings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The water was hot and the water pressure good in the shower. The family room with 3 beds was super convenient for our larger family. The downside: old furnaces and poor insulation meant that it was hard to keep the room from being either too hot or too cold. The mattress I slept on was uneven (had a deep indent on one side), but I was super comfy in it with the pillows arranged perfectly. Also the bathroom didn't have good ventilation and ended up very wet from steam. Overall, the price was low but our stay was fine. For a cheap place to crash after snowboarding, it worked.

It's clean, the wifi is fast, the shower water is hot, the tv works, the bed is comfortable. As a guy traveling solo, that's all I'm looking for, and it checks the boxes.

It's not glamours - but it's in a great location, the check-in was incredibly easy, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were warm. The staff really made the difference! I could see us staying again in the future for those quick road trips!

The shower was a bit difficult to actually get the water flowing with enough of a spray to get under it. But the water is hot so that was a plus. The sheets might have been clean. At the end of the day, it’s a room.

It was alright stay. The place is very old and needs a lot of fixing but it was quiet. The room could use some chairs and a side table. Also could use a coat rack instead of dumping coats on the bed as you get it the room. But we had 3 queen beds in our room.

My wife and I checked in to stay for one night at this property. We were in our room for about 10 or 15 minutes, when the owner came rudely and loudly knocking on the door. He was yelling through the door about our minivan. (We have some stuff covering the dashboard of our minivan, to deter criminals from breaking into the van—dried orange peels and dried banana peels and such.) He didn’t like the way the van looks—he said that it was scary, and that it would scare off customers. We didn’t acquiesce to his fearful attitude, and we also didn’t get a chance to explain that his reaction is the exact reaction that such decor is designed to promote. Instead, he told us that we needed to either move the van or clean all the stuff out of it, or leave. We didn’t like any of those options, but we decided to pick “leaving”. When I verbally made it clear that he was discriminating against us, he, rudely and loudly, denied the claim, and when I went to go get my phone to record him, he closed his mouth and walked away and refused to communicate. He threatened to call the police, and then he went to go hide in his office. There were also two young workers with him, and they were silent with regard to his actions and the embarrassing position he put us in—they witnessed all of it though… He said that he had already contacted Expedia to give us a refund, but we still haven’t seen any proof of this supposed action, and it’s been several days…

Disgusting interior and the motel associate knocked on the door and woke us up at 8am asking when we’d be checking out, even though we didn’t have to leave until 11am.

It's convenient if you're staying just overnight, but the place is terribly expensive for what they have to offer. Someone of the staff entered in my room while I was sleeping around 9am when the checkout is at 11am,I've never seen something like that. On the top of that the staff is not especially welcoming.

Management was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable.

Stay far, far away. A dump run by a very unpleasant person. Don’t fall for the fake reviews.

Management allowed my service animal stay at a waved fee for a pet fee. Argued with me about my stay with my animal. Ive never had that as a problem

It was cheap until they had me pay for my Service Animal saying that a seisure dog did not qualify. While taking a shower in the am - the power went out!

Overall great experience but I wish that someone had been on the front desk more often to help especially with transportation

It’s good location to access wherever you go

I really enjoyed my time here. This is my second time staying here, but my first time booking with them myself. It was a very simple and easy process and the staff were very friendly. I would highlt recommend this place to anyone seeking an affordable place to stay thats within walking distance of downtown.

The Indian owner of this place has his clients in mind. He gave us much valuable advice about restaurants and things to do. Extremely friendly. This is an old place that could benefit from a little more renovation, but it is very clean. It's a good value for the price, and it is conveniently located.

It was clean and super close to everything, park and could walk everywhere.

You get what you pay for. For me,this was the low price Flagstaff offering for a ski trip. The room was warm, the fridge cold, the hot water was hot, and the beds passable. My only complaint is that the description said they had a free breakfast included and I learned that was not the case when I checked in.

We stayed in a one bedroom unit so ine bed had a door. The room was clean and spacious. Many things including the toilet roll holder were broken, but the room worked. The air conditioner was in the one room so the door couldnt be closed or else the rest of the room was too hot. The towels were also dingy. The neighborhood is within walking distance to many restaurants so that was nice.
