This property is showing its age somewhat. The accommodation was very adequate. There is quite a set of stairs to access the office which is difficult for the less mobile traveler. The property is a bit difficult to enter from the road. That said, it was a good value for the price, and the bed was good.

The only thing I didn't care for was how loud the fan in the bathroom was - which is always on. They were very helpful with my suitcase. One other thing, however, is that MOST hotels I've stayed in provide a complimentary breakfast, which I didn't realize and didn't check before booking.

The only downside to this property is it CAN be difficult to get out of the parking lot to turn left because the entrance is so close to the intersection. You MAY have to go right and up the road a bit to turn around and turn left at the light. Be sure to leave enough time when doing so. We didn't have a significant problem, but it could be one at certain times. Lovely property, staff, location and price. We will return the next time we go to Flagstaff to attend an event.

One night in town for medical test. Hotel room was clean, beds were ok, bathroom was small and water pressure was fair. No gym / exercise room. No free breakfast, parking lot a little hard to get around in and sloped. A motor lodge style hotel / motel. I gave it 4 stars because it was clean, comfortable and a decent price for the value.

The property is old but was clean; however fitted sheet on one of the beds had blood and stains on it, so we had to remove the sheet and we slept on the bare mattress.

Rooms were like a typical motel, but the AC was particularly loud in both rooms in contrast to many other places. We were also disgusted that the floors were so dirty that our child had black soles after walking from bed to door. Washed his feet because we thought they must have just been dirty and he got black feet again from the nasty floor.

The property was impeccably clean and very comfortable. Everything, including the refrigerator and hairdryer, worked well. Conveniently place outlets made charging phones easy. The staff were professional and friendly. I plan to stay here again.

We are very pleasantly surprised on how clean and nice this hotel is. Not a modern place, but you can tell the owner takes pride in their hotel and keeps the rooms clean, spotless and dust free. We love it! I literally swiped my fingers over edges and corners where I would have thought I find dust, but nope, no dust. Very impressive. And their prices are also very reasonable compared to other places I have stayed at in Flagstaff. 5 Stars well deserved!!

I stayed in room 224 this week (June 3-4 2024) and my daughter and I left with bed bug bites. I checked the mattresses like you’re supposed to but I guess I didn’t look hard enough. I had a full body hive reaction the next day while at the Grand Canyon I didn’t think too much about it until after the second night when I found my arm was covered in bites. I’m terrified of bringing them into the house so everything is in limbo in my car while I figure out what to do. Do not recommend.

This is what a motel should be: spotlessly clean, everything worked, room had comfortable beds, microwave, good sized refrigerator, coffee maker and supplies, small dining table with two chairs, luggage rack, hangers, plenty of good quality bath supplies, strong internet, good lighting, a quiet hvac, easy parking, excellent location (15 min walk to old town and downtown, across the street from a good grocery store and coffee shop). Very pleasant and accommodating staff.

Heat and hot water were great. Very quiet place and the Matador coffee shop is co convenient for all day refills and breakfast burritos . My only complaint is the loud bathroom fan turning on everytime you turn the light on.

We were just passing through flagstaff and needed a one-night stay. This fit our needs perfectly. It is an old motel which has been completely refurbished. It almost seemed like we were the first ones to stay in the room.

The management was very responsive. The room is pretty small with little room for bags and unpacking. The bathroom is also small. No maid service during the stay. it is in a very hip part of town and lots to do and see nearby. Lots of very good restaurants and night life!

It's so nice to see a smaller, non chain hotel taking care of so well. Although the property is on the older side the rooms are very very clean, and the property looks maintained very well. The customer service was impeccable and I would highly recommend this over a chain hotel any day.

The owner was gracious enough to have our room ready earlier than the normal. The room was clean, neat, and very adequate. It was quiet in the evening. We were allowed to leave one car there before we checked in as we wanted to do some hiking early in the day. Would recommend to anyone.

We originally booked for 2 people and were arriving late at night. We unexpectedly wound up having 3 of us that needed to stay so we fully expected that 2 of us would be sharing a bed, no big deal. The manager (I think…) got us checked in and mentioned as we were walking out of the lobby that he had given us a bigger room since there were 3 of us. The room he gave us had 3 Queen sized beds in it!! It was amazing - we all had our separate spaces and there was no extra charge. Great customer service!! The room was a little bit dated and the bathroom was smallish but everything was amazingly crisp and clean. We will definitely stay here again without hesitation!

The only thing I didn't care for was how loud the fan in the bathroom was - which is always on. They were very helpful with my suitcase. One other thing, however, is that MOST hotels I've stayed in provide a complimentary breakfast, which I didn't realize and didn't check before booking.

Great location! We walked to breakfast and breweries and it’s easy to get anywhere from here. Reasonably quiet for such a busy street. Clean, comfy, basic.

This motel was perfect for our needs. Very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. Solid. No hassles. Nice coffee shop right next door. Walk across the street to get to the NAU campus. Great deal. Highly recommend.

we wanted to check out the Lowell observatory and the downtown Flagstaff area on an overnight stop. We got personal recommendations at the front desk, and walked the neighborhood easily. Very good Thai dinner, then the Lowell night tour was a quick drive up the mountain. Rooms were in great condition, very clean and comfy. Coffee shop next door was a big plus in the morning.

Easy parking right outside my room. Room was clean. Close to the highway & lots of stores & restaurants. Bonus that it's across the street from a great natural food store & next to a coffee shop. I'd definitely stay here again.

The room smelled a little bit old and musty. However, we just noticed it when first walking in. Love the location. We walked to all the downtown shops and cafes from the hotel. Also close to NAU campus.

We've stayed here numerous times. It's no frills but it is well maintained and very clean. It's quite convenient if you like to walk to the historic part of town. A strong value. We will continue to stay here in Flag.

The hotel is in a great location to walk downtown and there are several breweries within 10 minutes walk. The room has a small refrigerator and microwave and a small table for playing games. The hotel does not do daily room refresh, but you can easily walk to the main office and get anything you need to refresh your room.
