Hampton Inn Phoenix-Midtown-Downtown Area

The city turned off the water and the hotel knew 24 hours before we checked in. When we checked in there was just a single piece of paper saying there would be no water. Once there they just shrugged their shoulders. NO SHOWERS OR TOILETS OR SINKS for 14 hours (the whole time we were there). We asked for some form of compensation and the manager (James) told us no - he would give us a few bucks at the snack bar - I asked the name of his supervisor and he said Mr. Hilton and to take my problems to hotels.com. I was at the hospital for a minor surgical procedure that morning. He told me it was the cities fault and they couldn’t help us at all, best of luck.

All was good. Breakfast very nice, area clean. Snacks way over priced. Would stay here again. Quiet, safe, not near places to eat.

Hotel cancelled my reservation and I could not get a refund from hotels.com

Friendly welcoming. Glad you were so close to hospital. I did not have drive between hospital and hotel as I was from out of town
