Room had limited supplies for kitchenette & bathroom doorknob was broken. Asked for towels, said they were out. Asked for pool towel said to use the pool across parking lot at another hotel, since there was something wrong with theirs, not sure why, there was a pool guy there every morning cleaning it. Anyhow, the breakfast was basic with no fruit, but the room suited our needs. Surprised Marriott is attached to the name considering how basic the service and stay was.

We stayed 3 nights in March. Rooms were clean and big enough. Property is aging so there are issues. Pullout needed covering before sheets went on. Pool was very cold but refreshing. Breakfast was great. Staff were super friendly.

In 5 days and they only cleaned our room once because we demanded it be clean. No cleaning or clean towels in the fitness room. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall and wasn't repaired until we asked twice took 2 days heater in the pool didn't work and the gate to the pool also didn't work. Staff except for a wonderful lady named Betty were not interested in solving any of the issues. I expect a certain standard when we pay for Marriott quality. It was terrible and we won't make any assumptions about Marriott quality again.

Had added fees for parking in their lot. This is expected in a downtown area, not out in the suburbs. Also our room smelled of dogs. Breakfast was good and the staff very attentive to cleanliness.

Went for the WNBA All Star weekend, and although we arrived later than expected, our stay was awesome. From the kitchen in our suite to the hot breakfast from the hotel, I recommend staying here if you’re up for making your own meals while on vacay. Also, BBQ station, snacks and drinks on site.

I try to stay away from giving bad reviews however this was just too many things to avoid. I stayed with my family and it was rather disappointing. They didn't come to replace dirty towels and when asked they said that they didn't have any towels to replace them with. It advertises that they clean every other day and when we got there was told they clean your room only if you're staying 7 days or more. Didn't have shampoo, conditioner or body wash, bottles were completely empty. The door to our suite was extremely hard to close and open and a lot of the lights were not working at all.

I have severe OCD. When we got there I wiped everything down. There was nothing on the wipes. It was nice and clean. Seemed to be an older hotel but suite was remodeled. Happy with our stay

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The poor rating isn’t for them. The breakfast buffet had so many options. The room we were in had a strong odor. The toilet room reeked of urine. It needs a deep cleaning and sanitation. We were staying there less than 12 hours so we just dealt with it.

Thought Marriott would be quite a bit nicer and put together. This one was not!! Showed up and literally cleaned our own room with the guy because it wasn’t cleaned yet. Found out this Marriott has a lot of long term tenants and our room showed it. Stained mattress, bugs, etc. the staff were nice to us, but no organization. Don’t stay here if you can help it. Marriott should get this place properly staffed and renovated.

Our stay at TownePlace Suites Phoenix North was a terrifying, deplorable disaster, unsafe, unprofessional, and an insult to basic decency. After unpacking, we found the left bedroom door completely off its bottom hinge, hanging precariously with exposed screws - unsafe! The first door into the bathroom had been partially kicked in. Worse yet, we noticed what looked like knife holes in the bathroom door - chilling evidence of neglect or worse. What a complete shame!!! Now I have to connect with Expedia for a refund as we didn’t even stay in this room!! Expedia- I’d recommend removing this hotel as a booking option otherwise I foresee several refund requests from anyone who books here.

The wall in one of the bedrooms had what appeared to be blood splatter from the bottom of the door to the top of the door. They did come clean it after I asked. The TV in one room didn’t work and maintenance never came to look at it, they did send housekeeping to look but they didn’t know how to fix it. The beds were comfortable however.

This hotel was very hard to find with all the construction going on in the area. The checkin took longer than expected. The room was very outdated. The living room doesn’t have a TV in the one bedroom suite. It only has a small TV on the room. The bathroom towel rack fell off the wall and exposed the glue that was used to hold it up. I’m glad I was only staying one night because there’s no way I would stay any longer. I’m upset that I wasted my money.

Very Friendly staff, other than that, the towel hanger rods fell off the walls, the shower has two metal bars in it and one fell off. When opening our door to our room, then door get stuck on the floor halfway and I had to physically shove the door to get it to open all the way. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the room looked nothing like the pictures.

I booked a 2 bedroom suite. Upon arrival I was given two rooms. I received no communication about this room shift. It was late. I stayed one night, This is absurd as a minor cannot be in their own room. I was placed in a small studio and all the water was lukewarm. I shared with management. Refund was honored. As a frequent hoteler, I found the interior hallway, elevator, and rooms were quite outdated. But if you like 80:s decor this is your jazz,

All people working their went out of there way to be friendly and accommodating. Betty who serves breakfast, greets you with a big smile and “good morning”, just a sweetheart. Donna Persons and all staff just delightful, made our stay there very enjoyable.

This hotel was very hard to find with all the construction going on in the area. The checkin took longer than expected. The room was very outdated. The living room doesn’t have a TV in the one bedroom suite. It only has a small TV on the room. The bathroom towel rack fell off the wall and exposed the glue that was used to hold it up. I’m glad I was only staying one night because there’s no way I would stay any longer. I’m upset that I wasted my money.

Extremely welcoming staff. Long road trip and we showed up a day early. The staff member working the desk made it easy to get the room we had for a day early. The suite was perfect for my family. The issues I had were with the property/building and accessibility. The building has random and small upgrades but mostly way outdated. The bathroom exhaust fans were falling apart. AC unit is outdated and it's in Phoenix Arizona. Building is off of a one-way road with a freeway separating you from shopping. Nothing is within safe walking distance. Aside from those little things, the stay was pretty good.

Room had limited supplies for kitchenette & bathroom doorknob was broken. Asked for towels, said they were out. Asked for pool towel said to use the pool across parking lot at another hotel, since there was something wrong with theirs, not sure why, there was a pool guy there every morning cleaning it. Anyhow, the breakfast was basic with no fruit, but the room suited our needs. Surprised Marriott is attached to the name considering how basic the service and stay was.

We stayed 3 nights in March. Rooms were clean and big enough. Property is aging so there are issues. Pullout needed covering before sheets went on. Pool was very cold but refreshing. Breakfast was great. Staff were super friendly.

In 5 days and they only cleaned our room once because we demanded it be clean. No cleaning or clean towels in the fitness room. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall and wasn't repaired until we asked twice took 2 days heater in the pool didn't work and the gate to the pool also didn't work. Staff except for a wonderful lady named Betty were not interested in solving any of the issues. I expect a certain standard when we pay for Marriott quality. It was terrible and we won't make any assumptions about Marriott quality again.

Had added fees for parking in their lot. This is expected in a downtown area, not out in the suburbs. Also our room smelled of dogs. Breakfast was good and the staff very attentive to cleanliness.

Went for the WNBA All Star weekend, and although we arrived later than expected, our stay was awesome. From the kitchen in our suite to the hot breakfast from the hotel, I recommend staying here if you’re up for making your own meals while on vacay. Also, BBQ station, snacks and drinks on site.

This hotel is efficient and perfect for a quick stay. Room was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was great! There were some shades missing in our room, and the hallways are dark and kind of scary looking and overall everything needs a bit of a refresh, but overall it was exactly as expected.

The hallway and elevator was so freaking hot! The elevator can’t possibly be up to code. The hair conditioner was completely out. It’s even has a side view to see how much is left so it’s obviously plain laziness and poor attention to detail. Breakfast is normally really good but this time was not so good. The poor worker was all by himself and there was a lot people waiting. Coffee wasn’t ready and we went down 30 mins after breakfast started. Pool was still out of commission. We usually stay there once a month. Though the rooms are dated we usually stay here for the great breakfast and clean rooms. A total miss this time. Guess we will look for some place else to stay.

First of all, top-notch, lovely staff. They are this hotel’s best asset. Aside from that, this is a property in which the pictures look much better than the actual property. Our room smelled like human urine. Normally, I would not deal with such a room, but we were extremely tired and needed to attempt to get a few hours of sleep. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and a large cobweb in the room. Generally, everything in the room is very old and on the verge of falling apart. The breakfast was unsatisfying, had few offerings, and the area was generally dirty. This hotel deepened my appreciation for other hotels in which you can tell the corporation has more concern for their reputation.
