We were there for a total of 5 nights. Paid for 1 king, patio, poolside. We got to first room and not even close to poolside. Front desk said we could move next day. Woke up middle of night with toilet bubbling then in AM dirty sewer smelling water coming up in shower. Maintenance came promptly. Were told we would be moved to another poolside room but would have to wait till people checked out of it. The front desk told us they would call us when it was ready. We left luggage checked with them and went for breakfast. No call by 2:30 when I called them. Did get a new room with a patio with large rose bushes covering up view. Could not even step off patio. Front desk would not refund my extra paid for poolside. They said it was because I paid a non refundable through hotels.com. Lesson learned. This hotel should not be called a resort. It was barely a hotel. There is construction going on currently as well. We were there for a conference. Will never go back to this hotel. Has one restaurant and 1 hotel bar. 1 pool bar. Service was great in these areas.

Caution- This hotel is under a complete renovation. Nowhere does it state this. The renovation will not be completed til Jan per staff. The room was comfy, however, my daughter complained she felt sand in her bedding. When we entered the room there was an empty bottle of water next to the bed and in the shower was a used wash towel from the previous guest.

The pictures unfortunately make the property look far better than it is. Our first room was infested with mosquitos. The staff offered a new room, but then gave us the incorrect room. We finally arrived at our third spot and it was acceptable. The property was under construction and far less maintained than anticipated. The rooms seemed to be updated just enough to give them a minor facelift, but still showing its age. The pool floor had lots of visible debris as well. We were quite disappointed in our visit and unfortunately will be finding another property the next time we visit.
