Stayed for 4 nights. The property itself is in need of some updating. Not bad but definitely a few things need to be addressed. Construction going on in front if hotel. Exercise room was closed for remodeling. The pool area and hot tub were acceptable. Front desk and staff were helpful. Two queen bedroom was sufficient, bathroom was in need of some repair. Holes and plaster cracking in walls. Water pressure was good. Maid service was great. Make appointment in advance for maid service. Breakfast was ok. Hard boiled eggs, fruit, cereal bread, bagels coffee. For the price was not bad.

We stayed for two nights. The hotel was undergoing construction so was fairly empty, and construction didn't start early so that was nice. However, we had ants the first night all over our vanity, and then the following day we had a giant roach in the shower. Overall felt pretty bare-bones. The breakfast was very basic, no hot foods. Muffins, bagels, yogurt. We were at a couple's retreatment so we really were only here to sleep and change, so it worked for what we needed, but I wouldn't recommend it.

We arrived to a room looked ok. One bed was broke. The tub didn’t drain correctly. Yellow stains on one bed. Red chip kid hand prints on another wall. Wasn’t just okay. So asked switched rooms in the am cause we were so tired. Next room drain issues stains on bed and decor was a downgrade. Desk had damage plugins are a safety concern as they had it wrapped so tight around wasn’t fully in. Also stains everywhere. Blood on wall. Used toilet paper in tissue box area. Soaps weren’t filled up. Also pool wasn’t maintained. Flowers all in pool. Ants and bees everywhere. But we tried to make it best we could. For a Scottsdale hotel I highly do not recommend with children. I should have got more pics.

During check in the desk lady was frazzled from a rude guest but she was polite and apologetic. I received our room keys, went to the room, used the key to open the door to find people in the room and it looked like they’d been living there. Next room key received, sent us to a room that had the TV turned on, bed turned down, bathroom light on and the angry woman’s DL on the sink counter. Room 3…. This one was without any people in it but still not the 2 bed room we reserved. I called the desk and said I was done lugging our bags from room to room and they could fix the room issue the next morning. Just as a I feel asleep someone was trying to open the door and then banging on the door. I got dressed, opened the door to find an older couple and the new desk person. I explained this was room 3 of the night for us and I wasn’t moving. My daughter was in the shower and we were there for her to go to Mayo Clinic the next few days and he could give us our new room before we left but I was done. The next morning we ate breakfast, switched rooms again, left for Mayo. The rooms were clean, the staff was nice, the hotel was under construction and we didn’t know prior to arrival. Based on the safety alone of the first interaction I would not recommend staying here. The lady behind the desk was blonde and named Karen, she was in over her head when there was 5 people checking in as well as an angry guest.

Horrible stay! No breakfast served and no form of management to help resolve issue. Manager was scheduled at 7 am but never showed. I even called again and still no manager. By far one of the worse hotel expierences ive ever had sadly. I would like a complete refund !

Construction /renovation of property but you do not know until you arrive . No signage or directions for check in. Room did not have check in time listed on reservation or check out time in room. I called front desk for checkout. No Brochures or information , offer of free continental breakfast, location of elevators, ice machine, pool. No general area information, restaurants or any food options for delivery to property. Front desk clerk was rude and lacked customer service skills. We arrived earlier than 3 PM and asked if we could check in any earlier. She gave a definite no because supposedly no clean rooms but there were plenty of empty clean rooms. She waited until 2:55 We asked if a room became available would she let us know . She shook her head yes but we had to ask her if she would like to have our name and phone number?? to call us. The rooms are ok. Renovated but you could see painted over areas still with dirty wall showing. Bed was fine & items ok in room. Towels were like sandpaper. The air conditioner did not work well and when running it sounded like someone was running heavy equipment during construction. This was an all night event. We stayed 1 night. Continental Breakfast was stale donuts, stale bagels and , overripe bananas, dry cereal but coffee was good. Worst experience was front desk clerk with a very bad attitude and total lack of customer service training. We will not stay at this property next return to PHX and we go often.

If i could give this hotel 0 stars, i most defiantly would! i flew in for business and stayed here since it was closest in the area where i needed to be, When i when i first approached the front desk the lady that was wearing a blue short sleeve shirt whispered something in the gentlemen's ear that was working alongside with her and they both looked at me and laughed. i was really uncomfortable and it became awkward, I then asked if could have a late check out since my flight doesn't take off until 7pm and I'm fine to pay a small fee, SHE TELLS ME SHE WOULD HAVE TO CHARGE ME 75$ FROM 11AM UNTIL 2PM!!! and anything after that is full price! On top of that she was rude and unprofessional i would not recommend this hotel to anyone and defiantly not to my work colleague's.

Overall it was not a bad hotel to stay at if you don’t mind being a little bit farther than old town. For the price it’s definitely worth it, all the staff were very friendly and helpful and everything ran smoothly. Very quiet place not crowded at all which was super nice as well.

Great hotel with great business around it offering many options for food. The property was under construction outside during my stay but otherwise everything was excellent especially for the rate.

I enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool. The room was standard and clean. There is plenty of parking onsite. Also if you walk down the street, there are lots of restaurants. There's a Starbucks less than 100 feet away. The motel is under construction but this didn't really interfere with our stay. Noisy at times with planes from the Scottsdale airport flying overhead. All in all, we would stay there again.

This was a well furnished and clean place. Great for the $. It was a little loud due to location and I only gave 3 stars for the property because there was construction all around it. The place was most likely and old motel being renovated so I’m sure it’s just getting a face lift

I liked the stay for how much we paid. I feel like I would book again for that price. 239 for 4 night is not bad. The area around was nice. Not to fa from attractions.

I know the fine print on the Expedia checkout reminds the purchaser that there can be other fees at the hotel, but we haven't experienced that until this hotel, and the extra fees here were almost $100 over what I agreed to on Expedia. If I had know that beforehand I would have paid that additional money for a chain hotel we're familiar with and haven't had this issue with before. Next time. The staff was nice and helpful. The location was good. The hotel is doing a good job refurbishing the place though the elevator is still in need of work and some of the exterior doors didn't always latch. Bathrooms could have been a little cleaner but nothing so bad that I would complain really. As did many other guests, we wished there were protein and hot options at breakfast. It was just cereal, pastries, and fruit.

Horrible stay! No breakfast served and no form of management to help resolve issue. Manager was scheduled at 7 am but never showed. I even called again and still no manager. By far one of the worse hotel expierences ive ever had sadly. I would like a complete refund !

Rooms are nice but hotel is still under renovation. Elevator didn’t work. The breakfast was just bagels and muffins and bad coffee.

Very disappointed in this place. The pictures when booking looked great but didn't realize the front of the hotel is under construction and that would be my view. Construction also restricted the entryway to one lane in and out. When checking in, they failed to mention that if you want housekeeping services for the next day that you need to request it at check in. So we had to get a whole new set of towels at the front desk the next day ourselves and no cleaning service provided. Also, the breakfast offered was basically toast, bagels, or cereal. We could have gotten a better breakfast at a gas station. We overheard staff say they changed from offering waffles, eggs and bacon to this about a month ago (around when I booked and was choosing this hotel over others because of the continental breakfast offered that no longer exists.) I also had to wipe down the ac unit in the room so that we wouldn't be breathing in all that dust the whole time. On the plus side, our room had a medium sized refrigerator and freezer and a large sized microwave which was nice to have. Also, the pool area was very nice and hot tub was great. Pool is not heated though.

Beds were comfortable service was fine the breakfast was not good. I know it’s a co to entail breakfast but no protein available. Not even peanut butter. Ended up just getting my own breakfast because it wasn’t worth it. The kids like the donuts though so there’s that

Was promised a full size breakfast. ONLY served Continental breakfast. Stopped serving hot foods about two months ago. Girl working breakfast too lazy to wash off tables for customers. Shower was ridiculous. Only one side of glass, water went EVERYWHERE on floor. Beds TOO soft!!!

After they changed the name of the hotel they took away the nice continental breakfast. Overall, nice place to stay.

The room was nicely updated and clean. However, our shower did not drain well at all and the door handle and lock did not appear very secure and needs to be replaced. The breakfast was average…but nobody should expect gourmet while staying at a SureStay Plus. The gym equipment was very up to date and well maintained making for a great daily workout and the pool was clean as well. This SureStay is located by the small Scottsdale airport. So, be prepared for the occasional private plane noise happening from time to time throughout the day/night. Overall, very reasonable for the price.

The staff was great. Our room was clean but it was so hot it took all night for it to cool down and by then we were leaving so we slept horrible. We showed up and there was people outside in a uhaul van, they looked like they were moving into the hotel. When we went to get ice there was a drug deal going on in the stairwell. Overall it was a sketchy hotel at the least.
