This cute cottage was perfect for the four of us. Very nicely decorated, very comfy beds, very large bathroom with tub/shower combo and separate very large shower. It would be nice to have a separate mirror, since there is only one bathroom. It was nice to have the washer/dryer to clean beach towels and bathing suits. Tons of coffee cups/mugs to choose from for your morning libation. I grew up in Gloucester, and I felt the location was pretty convenient to the courthouse area. Ware Neck Produce has the best tomatoes on earth... and they are grown just down the road from this house. Super cute. A++

This is a home away from home everything you need. You can hear the birds when you sit on the covered porch no trains or cars just peaceful and quiet. The decor is beautifully done. When you venture out Main Street has some great shoos and restaurants.

This adorably decorated home is situated in a quiet, tree-dense neighborhood with easy access to the highway if you’re spending the day outside of town. The town of Gloucester is quaint, filled with friendly people, and many dining options. The host made the stay easy, welcoming, and lovely. The home is absolutely sweet. Comfy decor, very clean, great kitchen, and comfy beds. Parking is ample and the views from every window are picturesque. The only “word of caution” is that the water does have a sulphur-ic odor so def bring bottled water (although host does provide a water filter - the smell was still present). I think this is not an indication of anything wrong - it may be typical to the area. All in all, I would stay there again and highly recommend this home.

Adorable little cottage felt like home. We had everything we needed for cooking and bathroom was stocked with shampoos, soaps and fluffy towels. Really clean. Beautiful area; took a few great walks in neighborhood with my little dog.

The home was nicely decorated, very comfortable and well-stocked with all one needs to really enjoy the historical location. It felt like home. The local residents at restaurants and stores were kind, friendly and helpful. Everything we wanted to see and do we’re close and easy to get to. We enjoyed our week and would definitely go back.

This VRBO was immaculately cleaned stocked with everything you could possible need. It was close to different historical museums, battlefields and great restaurants. It was great to have a washer and dryer that we didn’t have to have quarters for. The country side is beautiful and it was so nice to be able to park out truck close to the home.

We had a lovely stay . Cottage was gorgeous and tastefully done . Everything you need and lots of pots and pans ,as we like to cook at home . Bed was very comfortable. Sitting out on the porch at night was lovely . Everything about Bee Haven was beautiful.

This property was everything everybody said it was. It was perfect for our girls' getaway. Very comfortable, clean, cozy, and in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood close to everything we wanted to do. The owner has thought of everything. Iwould move in tomorrow if I could.

Everything about this house is exquisite. The decor is beautiful. The bee theme is adorable. The house and yard are well maintained. It’s very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here. It fit our needs perfectly while vacationing in the area.

We stayed here as a surprise getaway for my spouses birthday. The cottage. The cottage is exactly as it looks and is described in the listing. It was beautiful, quiet, peaceful, and somewhat secluded in a nice neighborhood. There is a binder that The French’s put together that explains everything in detail about the property, policies, information on the area and more! There was a slight hiccup on the check-in for us but it was remedied and the communication with Mrs. Shannon was great! She is very nice! We really enjoyed our stay and my spouse loved it! Thank you for having us!

Property was very comfortable and presented as advertised. We had no issues with checkin or communication with our host. Shannon insured that all was good with our stay. We even took her recommendation for the restaurant Olivias in the Village, the food was great and service was excellent.

We had a great time, the location was beautiful. We did have a tree fall, which ended blocking the road back to the cottage during a storm. I was panicking our family pet was alone. I did call and I was called immediately contacted by owner to help guide us back to the cottage.

The cottage was what we wanted somewhere quiet but not too far from where we were going to. It was clean, instructions were detailed and easy to follow. We woke to birds and the back of the cottage was a wooded area. Our host was quickly responsive to communication.

We came here for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is clean with all the amenities and conveniences anyone would need. It's located within an hour of all that the historic triangle has to offer. It was so comfortable that we spent one day just enjoying the place. The owner texted the house info, so we had a clear line of communication in case we needed anything (we didn't). We look forward to returning and perhaps trying out their other properties in the area.

We were fortunate enough to spend a few nights at Bee Haven. Its a charming property and we highly recommend it. We ventured to Williamsburg from here and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this property and Shannon is a 5 star host. Also, have to give a shout out to the Nuttall Country Store which is about a mile from the home. This is a must stop for anything you might need.

Bee Haven is a charming cottage tucked away in the most quiet neighborhood in Gloucester. I really enjoyed having my coffee out on the front porch in the morning. The area is lovely to drive around in. There is a grove of pine trees in the back that sound amazing when the wind is blowing.

Seriously, don't think twice about booking this property! It's in a beautiful, quiet setting and about an hour drive from countless attractions. We went to Williamsburg, short 45 minute drive through beautiful country. The property is exceptional! The host has thought of literally everything and well appointed. Looking forward to returning soon!

We loved being in a neighborhood in Virginia! Bee Haven had everything we needed! It was close to all the places we wanted to visit.

The property was very clean and comfortable and was a great location for touring Matthews and Gloucester County, Yorktown and Colonial Williamsburg. The host was very proactive and we would definitely stay again.

In a quiet neighborhood within close proximity to shopping, beaches, an the historic triangle. Only 20+ minutes to Haven Beach, which was lovely. Friendly area. Planning to come back!

The little Bee Haven cottage is spotlessly clean and so well equipped. Beds are comfortable and with a living room and small den, the two of us were very comfortable, as would be a party of four. The area of Virginia where the cottage is located is so beautiful and tho the cottage was not in the middle of activities (which suited us just fine) it was easy to access Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. The front porch is a definite plus as are the crab cakes down the road at the Nuttall Market!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The home was very clean, and it was beautifully appointed. The location was nice and secluded, but close enough to area attractions. We loved the peace and quiet, perfect for a much needed down-time getaway. Looking forward to coming back!!! FIVE STARS!!!!!

This home was centrally located for visits to Williamsburg and Yorktown. It was a clean comfortable home for us to stay. The owner was super nice and the home and furnishings were cute and well maintained. Would definitely recommend this home .

This cute cottage was perfect for the four of us. Very nicely decorated, very comfy beds, very large bathroom with tub/shower combo and separate very large shower. It would be nice to have a separate mirror, since there is only one bathroom. It was nice to have the washer/dryer to clean beach towels and bathing suits. Tons of coffee cups/mugs to choose from for your morning libation. I grew up in Gloucester, and I felt the location was pretty convenient to the courthouse area. Ware Neck Produce has the best tomatoes on earth... and they are grown just down the road from this house. Super cute. A++

Property was very comfortable and presented as advertised. We had no issues with checkin or communication with our host. Shannon insured that all was good with our stay. We even took her recommendation for the restaurant Olivias in the Village, the food was great and service was excellent.

This is a home away from home everything you need. You can hear the birds when you sit on the covered porch no trains or cars just peaceful and quiet. The decor is beautifully done. When you venture out Main Street has some great shoos and restaurants.

This adorably decorated home is situated in a quiet, tree-dense neighborhood with easy access to the highway if you’re spending the day outside of town. The town of Gloucester is quaint, filled with friendly people, and many dining options. The host made the stay easy, welcoming, and lovely. The home is absolutely sweet. Comfy decor, very clean, great kitchen, and comfy beds. Parking is ample and the views from every window are picturesque. The only “word of caution” is that the water does have a sulphur-ic odor so def bring bottled water (although host does provide a water filter - the smell was still present). I think this is not an indication of anything wrong - it may be typical to the area. All in all, I would stay there again and highly recommend this home.

The home was nicely decorated, very comfortable and well-stocked with all one needs to really enjoy the historical location. It felt like home. The local residents at restaurants and stores were kind, friendly and helpful. Everything we wanted to see and do we’re close and easy to get to. We enjoyed our week and would definitely go back.

We had a lovely stay . Cottage was gorgeous and tastefully done . Everything you need and lots of pots and pans ,as we like to cook at home . Bed was very comfortable. Sitting out on the porch at night was lovely . Everything about Bee Haven was beautiful.

We were fortunate enough to spend a few nights at Bee Haven. Its a charming property and we highly recommend it. We ventured to Williamsburg from here and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this property and Shannon is a 5 star host. Also, have to give a shout out to the Nuttall Country Store which is about a mile from the home. This is a must stop for anything you might need.

Where to start? The minute we walked into the home, it enveloped us in its warmth and comfort, even tho it was dreary and rainy outside. Had a fun time at the general store down the street (ask the owner about the crazy ladies who visited her!

A perfect fit for the two of us. We were on a seafood mission and our mission was accomplished. Cottage was cozy and great seasonal seafood was plentiful... lots of options within a 20-30 minute drive--without going into urban jungles. This property is located in a rural setting, and access to Gloucester is quick and easy.

Bee Haven cottage was just perfect; quiet but near many history attractions. And excellent restaurants too. The best part was being able to sit on the cozy porch a while…sip your coffee and listen to all the birds singing. A place we would love to return to one day!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bee Haven. It is adorably decorated, clean, and close enough for sightseeing in Yorktown, Jamestown, and Williamsburg. We we able to communicate easily with our host. We would stay there again! Great value for the money!

The property was exactly as advertised clean, fully equipped with every thing you would need to prepare meals. The disappointing thing was that there was so much pollen during the week we stayed sitting outside on the lovely porches was not posssble with our allergies!!We slept like logs on the comfortable bed!!!
