Wonderful spacious rooms. Great buffet breakfast. The pool and hot tub were nicely tucked in a landscaped area. If the lamps would be upgraded it would be nice.

My family and I did not enjoy our latest stay at Ramada by Wyndham Viscount Suites. The biggest reason was the AC never worked and so we opened window but was too noisy outside. Sleepless night.The pool was also very dirty. Luckily we only stayed one day. The positive about our stay was the breakfast was very good and decent gym.

The room was very nice. The breakfast had a good selection but my niece and I both thought the eggs and the ham tasted a little strange. Both the pool and hot tub were very nice and enjoyed by my niece.

The price was fair. The pool wasn't cleaned. The furniture is out dated and had chips and tears.The bed was very uncomfortable and hard. There was a lump on one side of the bed. There wasn't enough tv stations to watch. The staff was very friendly. I like how big the suite was lots of room.The room was always cold and loved how the refrigerator worked kept things cold.

This is an old hotel with great need for a total multimillion renovation. The carpets throughout the hotel are old and stained. Our bathroom, although clean, and rust around the tub drain and the sink had a small leak. The hot water in the shower was a hit and miss, but mostly a miss. The cloth chairs in the room had stained arm rest from years of use without being clenaned, and the fabric was torn and frayed. The curtain was torn at the top. It appears that some of the rooms one the first floor were being renovated. The complimentary breakfast was very well done, very clean with a great array of food. The work out gym had new top of the line equipment. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

The place was uncomfortable. There appeared to be construction or some damage of sort being worked on, the elevator was not working, and the television did not consistently work. Not a comfortable stay.

I like the size of the rooms. The weight room has some descent machines that all seam to be working order. The pool was nice temperature the deck is a little ruff and could use a refinishing of the surface. I was bummed to see that pool and weight room which has the attached laundry room was being closed at like 8:00 PM. When I asked the front desk staff about it closing at 8:00 he said that 10:00 was the time it closed. That aside in my first room the TV sound would come but the screen stayed black. So we changed rooms to a room on the first floor where the bathroom sink leaked out of the drain whenever it was used. So rather than change rooms we decided to put a garbage can under it but not use the sink. The place does need some updating and it could be done really nicely. Breakfast here is the best I think. They do some nice breakfast with eggs bean, diced potatoes, one morning was sausage, the next was ham, they also have pancake machine that dumps out 2 pancakes at a time, with maple syrup or strawberry or blueberry syrup. Cold milk that is cooked by a tube through the center to keep the milk from spoiling. Anyway it's a great breakfast.

Very spacious hotel (great for a Comi Con or Saboten Con) and excellent staff - they got our heat on and even a night facility manager helped us with our thermostat! Great staff in the breakfast area too. Hotel is aging and and items not repair ed or replaced; ie rowing machine and one stair master in gym broken. Great place for the price though.

At one time .. this was the place to stay .. Was very disappointed.. it was apparent the room had t been cleaned .. red carpet stains and food trash on the floor .. the t stat missing the cover couldn’t see temperature setting , anytime the upstairs rooms water was in use , very loud noise transfer . This place could be a very nice place but really needs some upgrades . For a Wyndham owned property it doesn’t meet Wyndham standards.. disappointed for sure .. won’t be staying there again .

Horrible, dirty. Carpets were stained, mold on the air vents, dirty tissues by the beds, dirt on “clean” bed sheets. First night the pipes were making noise every other hour. Next night yellow water started leaking from the ceiling. Do not stay here. This place needs to be condemned.

Was AWFUL!!! Never expected this hotel to be so awful. I looked for a NICE place to stay not in the center of the city- Should have!) pictures looked great but were deceptive! All run down rooms breakfast cold every day! Pool sides were gross & needed cleaning & towels all wrinkled! Floors dirtybecause his socks were gross from walking with out shoes on- ice makers had to run to All 4 floors for 1 to be working BEST THING! Bed bug bites! WHOO Hooo!!!! Leaking fridg-bedroom tv sound levels go up & down on their own- window view. On 1st floor Rusted storage sheds- musty & dirty smells-

We stayed in a King room. It was not the cleanest. My husband walked barefoot across the floor after his shower and had to clean his feet again before going to bed. The bed only had a sheet on it. We had to call for a blanket and when we got it, it had several holes in it and tears. The worst of the problems was that there were two bugs in the bed, and I had to kill them. The doors and knobs were sticky. The drapes were filthy as were the fabric chairs. The furniture was gouged and scratched and stained. Old mostly. The lobby was beautiful, and the registration lady was very sweet and helpful. The food was good. We ate dinner and breakfast in the little restaurant in the lobby.

Beautiful inside and out. Bed is super comfortable has all the amenities u need. The hotel has an old smell and definitely needs to be updated, my tv and lights in room didn’t work. But overall good

We had come to drop off our kid to college which seems to be the hottest weekend of the year. This hotel is very dated and in bad need of a refresh. When we walked into our room and it was just as hot inside as it was outside, it would have been nice if they turned on the A/C prior to us coming. We turned the A/C on and still no change in the room temperature, we called the front desk, and she sent a maintenance guy up Anaan. Anaan was the only saving grace, he partially fixed it but told us to change rooms. He found a nice cool room for us which was next door and bought us a fan. This room, which was just next door to the one we had, was vastly different. The old room had paint peeling off the doors, stained carpet and a very old TV. This new room was much nicer and had a smart TV. I kept the fan because the A/C was not powerful enough to keep the room cool. The hotel was not full so a little upset that we were given an old room to begin with. Since the change in the room, our access key never worked so it was very frustrating to go back down and get our access back.

Couldn't use WiFi, none of the id or passwords worked. AC very noisy, toilet wouldn't flush. I notified staff and no one fixed toilet. We were left to push and pull up floater. Bathroom had several scale damage.

The staff is friendly and hard-working, but the entire hotel needs a major facelift (inside and out). Both televisions did not work because the remote controllers didn't pair correctly. - not good on Super Bowl Sunday. The furniture is 1960s vintage and needs to be tossed. The mauve color of the paint is really dated. The elevators need a refresh (tarnished brass conrol panels are a giveaway). Seating around the fountain would be nice, new carpeting is needed and fixtures in bathroom have cracks, and the A/C gurgles and doesn't really cool effectively - not a hotel for Summer time in my opinion.. Hot water was not really "hot" in the morning - likely need a bigger and newer system. On the positive side, the besd were comfortable, although a long black har on my pillow was a turn-off. We only stayed one night and do not plan to stay here again. We travel to Tucson at least 3 times a year from Phoenix and there are other options in this price range or slightly more that are worth the price.

The staff is friendly and hard-working, but the entire hotel needs a major facelift (inside and out). Both televisions did not work because the remote controllers didn't pair correctly. - not good on Super Bowl Sunday. The furniture is 1960s vintage and needs to be tossed. The mauve color of the paint is really dated. The elevators need a refresh (tarnished brass conrol panels are a giveaway). For the price there was no charging ports. The location of the electrical wall outlets were in a bad location to charge your devices. We've stayed at lower priced hotels that had several charging stations. Made it difficult to keep your phone close while charging.

We chose this hotel because every room was a suite, the breakfast and the pool. It was fine for a night. We were just a little disappointed by the condition of the hotel and the rooms. Our tv and wifi didnt work well in the bedroom. The livingroom went unused because it felt so cold and uninviting to sit in.

The Viscount Suites has fallen on harder times. The layout is nice, parking is ample and easy, and the room designs are fine. The bedroom was comfortable and the entryway was well appointed. But the bathroom door had parts of the paneling peeling away, and the door to the bathroom had to be wrestled into place. WIFI only reached part of the suite. When we arrived, a current guest was complaining that, although they were leaving that day, having the room cleaned was no longer necessary, but could they please have the roll of toilet paper they had been asking for. We have stayed at this property several times in years past, but found that the above, as well as the degradation in the depth and quality of the complimentary breakfasts were a big disappointment.

Breakfast was good. Rooms are kinda old, dated, and meh... A/C didn't work in my room. Had to move. A/C didn't work in 2nd room. Had to move AGAIN! Finally they put me in this massive suite where the A/C was working! Hotel needs massive overhaul.

The hotel was ok but the service was terrible they accused my mom of stealing a tv! But there was no tv on the room to begin with. They literally wanted to look in our suitcases which was ridiculous. Im very disappointed with this experience. Ive stayed in this hotel since i was a child and because of fond memories continued to stay there. But this experience has made me reconsider staying again.

Where do I start. The gentleman that checked me in was friendly and fantastic. From there it all went downhill. The photos do not depict the rooms or their overall awful condition. Dirty is an understatement. The sticky laminate floors were your first greeting into the room, from there you'll notice that every piece of furniture, walls, baseboard, beds, bedding, pillows and everything in between is worn, tattered and disgustingly dirty. I wish I could add photos to this review but believe me when I say I would never myself stay or recommend anyone stay at this hotel. If it hadn't been so late I would have left for another hotel. I slept fully clothed and left immediately after waking up. Awful experience. Also $160 is absolutely insane.

I like this property but I had too wait close to an hour to check-in because they only had one person at the front desk. It was late in the evening and I wanted to get some rest. I believe some kind od compensation should of been offered. Very inconvenient and irritating

The front desk night shift are very arrogant and not very approachable . They’re more like a security type attitude than welcoming. When you arrived from a long road trip you hoping that you’ll have at least a very friendly ppl upfront.. damn I don’t mind that the place is very old and not up to date, I can always overlook that with at par customer service. I hope the owner will randomly check their workers.

I have been staying at Viscount since the late 80s and early 90s, and, even though you can tell it is an old hotel, it is still a great place to stay. Very convenient location, friendly staff, good breakfast, big room.

Wifi very slow - worse than the Hughes satellite that I had at home previously. Heater did not work first night - had to have maintenance come to fix. Location less than desirable - nearby Walmart Market had things like batteries behind lock and key.

It’s an aging facility, in need of many upgrades and renovations. I assume the higher pricing, I paid, is due to the central location in town. The cleanliness was fine but it’s hard to really clean aging floors, furniture, walls and surfaces. There were many little things that need addressing, e.g. sink handle had to be tweaked just so, so it didn’t drip/run, bathroom floor was a little dirty and became slimy/ slippery after showering condensation set in, moulding and grout in the shower and around sink, was stained dirty from age, some of the towels provided were threadbare, front desk was majorly understaffed for the volume of business on the nights I stayed, staff was trying to keep up but was overwhelmed and unable to help everyone in a timely manner. Parking lot was full at night and I had to park in dark, distant parking areas, which I did not feel overly secure parking or walking in. The good things were the location- convenient, the staff tried their best- which I appreciated and the breakfast buffet was great! Simple set-up and fare but the food was tasty and the buffet is staffed by really attentive and efficient employees. It was their show and they run it really well! Overall, I thought the price was too high for the room itself but it wasn’t a bad overall experience. If some major renovation money was spent, it could easily be a top flight place again.

Shabby, but comfy place to stay. The hotel could use some updates, but it was clean and comfortable. And the breakfast was excellent! Tons of options and all tasty. The one major issue we had was that our shower ran out of hot water and we weren't taking long showers! Brrrr...

This is my second time staying at the Ramada and in general I really enjoyed my time there! I love the fact that the rooms are suites with a little living room as you walk in. It's comfortable, homey, and the perfect way to have a mid to long stay in midtown Tucson. If you stay here, go to Crave espresso bar down the street! DELISH. Now on to the things that made it less than ideal. I walked into my room and flipped the switch. Immediately, the light didn't work, so I had to physically turn on the light. Not the end of the world, but when we are talking about hotels we are talking about convenience and creature comforts so I think it's important to mention. A further two switches didn't function, which was frustrating, and the bathroom ceiling bulb flickered in a way reminscent of Hostel. The bedroom was comfortable and allowed in a lot of natural light, and it came with a large standard flat screen television. However, the television could only be turned on with a remote and when I reported it to the front desk, the agent wrote it down and said she'd tell maintenance. It was never rectified. This last thing is just for someone who lives with food restrictions. Most continental breakfasts don't have a fraction of what Viscount Suites provides. They should be applauded for the service and options. But there was cheese in everything, and no non dairy milk option for coffee. Most folks won't care, but it definitely put a damper on my experience.

Amazing 4 days! Bed was comfy, breakfast was always refried beans, eggs, potatoes, salsa, pancakes Coffee, juice. toast. A more than adequate start to the day! We were on the end of a long hall so the wifi was a little sketchy.

Although front desk staff were courteous and the breakfast was very good, we would've left had we the energy to do so. We can tolerate an older outdated property showing its' wear-and-tear; however, the filth was awful. Food crumbs left on the floor (a lot of them), urine stains on and around the toilet, hair in and around the sink, drink stains on the vanity, stains/hand prints on mirrors, and food stains on the walls. There was no way any cleaning staff could've missed all this filth - they are apparently just not interested in doing anything but make the bed. It was really bad.

The room we stayed in was pretty clean but it was hard to overlook the incredibly old and outdated 80’s furniture. The refrigerator was hidden in the entertainment center away from the microwave and ice bucket, we didn’t find that until the end of our stay. The hot breakfast was nice.
