Pet friendly and convenient for dining and exploring Arcata, and bed was very comfortable. Large area adjacent to the parking for turning around an RV, or if you're towing a trailer. We would stay there again.

Rooms were fine, the only parking was to the back of the hotel, inconvenient. Window did not close, there was a stick inserted to keep it from opening, no security chain on the door

This hotel was clean and comfortable for our one night stay. There’s no elevator so be prepared to have to drag your suitcase up stairs. Breakfast was simple. It seems like there’s been budget cuts when it comes to breakfast but everything was good.

I like making my own waffles and they had 2 types of waffles to chose from. Plenty of healthier food too. Staff was always pleasant. I have never stayed at a 2-story motel without an elevator before. I arrived after midnight and all the first floor rooms were filled. Lugging my luggage up a flight of stairs was surprising. My room did not look anything like the room in the pic. Highway 101 is just on the other side of the parking lot

The staff was great and extremely helpful. This place doesn’t have an elevator but the room and the facilities were clean. Parking lot is in the back and it was a long walk to the room but other than that, worth the money and you’re right across and next to food options!

This hotel is in a great location, right near a shopping center, and several restaurants, with close access to the freeway. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable as well as the pillows. Surprised to have a mini fridge and a microwave in the room, that was nice. The breakfast in the morning is quite good, with waffles, toast, cereal, bananas, hard-boiled eggs, juice. There is no elevator so you have to use the stairs to get to the second floor. The only negative was my shower. The drain was clogged, so water kept filling up the tub as I was showering. I reported this to the front desk and they never fixed it for three days. Even after I asked a second time, they said it was on the maintenance list, but never was taken care of. This is a dealbreaker for me and would prevent me from staying here again. There are several other motels in the area and I will choose one of them next time.

It was super convenient to have a fully stocked grocery store and many amazing restaurants right across the street. The bed was comfortable and house keeping staff were on top of offering new linen and towels. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere overall. I've stayed here several times over the years and all improved experience. Will stay here again while in town. Internet and television are great.

Im sorry. I hate to leave a bad review. But…. For this hotel to have a 7 out of 10 is mind blowing. The room was nothing like the picture portrayed online. I was very disappointed. There was roaches in microwave. It needs to be upgraded and remodeled.

My room was within 20 ft of the McDonalds 24 hour drive thru….room was worn and a bit grubby. Stains in the tub like some had been marching with their boots. Made me want to take a shower AFTER taking a shower!

Spacious room. Free breakfast actually had substantial choices including fruit and proteins. Located near fuel and plenty of eating options, including my new favorite Asian buffet. I brought my own streaming device, and got a great signal from the guest wifi, but didn't need it, because it was easy to find all the programming I wanted... I was on the road a lot this trip, but this stop had enough perks and plusses to rank above Average.

Needs carpeting in hallways you can hear people walking down the hallways normal but it sounded like they were stopping their feet. People just talking in the hallway it would Echo through the entire hall.

As with all Super 8s, it’s off a highway, but it did have some fast food restaurant across the parking lot. We had a king room. The room was huge and the bed was quite comfortable. It’s was all acceptable for one night. As with a lot of these hotels, they aren’t geared for couples. It is quite annoying not to have a nightstand with a lamp on BOTH sides of the bed. I had to bring a chair over so I could put my book, water, medicine and glasses beside me. Also, more than two towels would be helpful.

This hotel is... adequate. The room I stayed in (102) was full of dents and stains. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything going on in the neighboring rooms. Also, the McDonald's drive-thru was literally right outside my window and you could hear people ordering very late at night. That said, the bathtub was nice, wifi worked great, and despite the stains and dents things were clean.

The hallway is indoors, so the sounds of people walking by, talking and rolling their luggage along, is magnified. The closer you are to the stairs, the more people go past your room. Warnings about Room 206: (1) The window faces the McDonald's drive-through, so you hear everyone's orders and McD's recorded message umpteen times a day. Thankfully, it's quiet at night, but if the window is left open, the drive-through gets busy around 6 a.m. Rooms immediately around #206 are probably likewise affected by the McDonald's speakers. (2) The sink faucet is almost impossible to pull up to turn the water on. I almost wrenched my back doing so. (I work out regularly.) (3) The bathtub and floor by the sink were sticky. Thankfully, when I asked for it to be cleaned, it was done immediately and the guy at the front desk was very nice.

We had the best time, the night clerk "Dennis I think" was great to us. Brought us extra supplies, fixed the TV. He was all around fabulous. We'd stay there every time we visit Arcada.

It was a decent room and it was very clean upon entering. I brought with me my two dogs and it was a very pet friendly experience. I felt welcomed and comfortable. The only thing I’d suggest is to bring your own pillows for a more comfortable stay. Overall it was good for what we needed which was a place to stay with our dogs and not too expensive. There was also breakfast available.

They n3ver returned my security deposit nor have they returned my phone calls regarding my security deposit. The front desk clerk assured me that it would be returned within 7 to 10 business days or depending on my bank. I have no pending deposits back into my account that would indicate anything ither than them keeping it. Thats a lil shady, amf ill avoid this branch of Super8 in the future if i can help it. BE WARNED ⚠️

Good customer service, easy to access with plenty of fast food options, close to an EV charger, room had a slight smell but overall it was clean, bed was comfortable, parking lot is on the back of the property enclosed, great value for the price

A lot of homeless and drug users walking the streets out front. Made us worry about our vehicle. The hotel, although remodeled, still felt like an old, dingy hotel. The host the two times we went to the office (check-in & 20 minutes later check-out) was gone doing something around the property. Not sure why Wyndham associates with this hotel. Glad I got rid of our Wyndham.

The check in person was very pleasant and my room was clean. But the area around the hotel feels unsafe and the hotel employee mentioned there are a lot of homeless in the area (which I certainly do see). I’m praying my car doesn’t get stolen. I’m a solo traveler and safety is very important to me. Hotels in the area have gates surrounding their properties but unfortunately this hotel does not. I expected more given the Wyndham brand.

Unpleasant check in experience. Was told he hoped no one came to check in for 12 more minutes because he was busy? Toilet ran non stop in room. Sink was broken and stopper covered in mold. Left for the afternoon and came back to the room flooded from the ac unit. Clerk seemed annoyed i wanted a new room and didn't want to clean up the flood myself. Breakfast was only waffles and cereal. Won't be back

I like making my own waffles and they had 2 types of waffles to chose from. Plenty of healthier food too. Staff was always pleasant. I have never stayed at a 2-story motel without an elevator before. I arrived after midnight and all the first floor rooms were filled. Lugging my luggage up a flight of stairs was surprising. My room did not look anything like the room in the pic. Highway 101 is just on the other side of the parking lot

There is no actual person at the front desk, just a Kiosk machine with someone in another part of the world. Very inpersonal and did not feel welcoming at all. Breakfast was a piece of toast, an egg, and hot cereal and there was a homeless guy sleeping in the lobby at night. It's also next to a McDonalds where we were woken up by the traffic and drive through order. Will not be back.
