Hotels' elevetor was out of order, and they placed us on the 3rd floor to carry up all of our stuff with a baby, and a dog. They said we. Could cancel, but they had already charged us.

Parking elevators not working hot water issues

Safe, gated parking lot. Very clean extended stay. Really nice room. I would stay there again. I recommend paying a few extra dollars and not staying at the cheaper motels in the same area, if you can.

Elevator was not working. Was told that it has been out for a week. Had to climb stairs to 3rd floor with luggages. Roaches in the stairway. Carpet smelled in room. Bathroom door had heavy water damage and would not open / close properly. Would not stay there again.

elevator wasnt working and we werent told until we arrived at 11pm. they iffered to cancel but after driving 12 hours we didnt want to search new places to stay. on top of that they gaves us the 4th floor to lug our stuff.

The elevator was broken. The room has cigarette smell. Front door was broken. Unsafe

This feedback for Extended Stay America Suite Bakersfield Chester Lane, CA. 3600 Chester Lane CA 93309. Everything was good 👍 until we found out no cart for us to load the luggages to room and our room was fourth floor. We arrived and checked in at 8:45pm and the front desk person said they only have one cart for whole entire hotels building. We told that we will never stay in any Extended Stay America Suite in the future. It's ridiculous only has one single cart for entire hotel. As the owner of the hotel, how much would it cost you??? We suggest hotels should have four carts, each floor has one cart.

Overnight stay…Room was spacious and clean. During our stay the elevator was not functioning. Had to carry a sleeping child up 3 flights of stairs. Other than that it was good. Would stay again.

Nice and new but there was only about 1 foot of space to get into the bed on one side. No couch to sit on, only a recliner chair to sit on...that was ok but not so much with 2 adults. No shampoo, had to go to the front desk and ask for some. Had to ask for dishes, silverware, etc. The shower value fell off and the bathtub faucet was loose.

Staff could be nicer, the only thing I didn’t like was the room looked like it needed to be updated tub was pealing and found hair in the towels bed and bathroom sink. Also peoples cooking could be smelled throughout the floor I stayed at the whole two days there. Won’t come back. $30 more and you could stay and the Hilton across the street.

2 days I walked past a cockroach in the hallway before I told staff they needed to sweep as they had dead cockroachs in the hallway. Poor cleanliness. Also saw dead bugs in the drawers in the kitchenette area. Terrible and need new staff!

This Extended Stay America serves their guests well, very clean and quiet.The accomodations at this location made for a relaxing and enjoyable time!

Room condition was bad. Found dead cockroaches in the room. Will not recommend anyone to stay there!

The room was clean but there was a musty odor. We believe it was mostly in the kitchen area.

Quiet and mostly clean, but the bedding was definitely NOT washed at all from prior guest. Tons of hairs in the bed. Called front desk and they brought new bedding immediately to correct the problem. Even the pillow cases had hair on them. Rest of the room/facility was clean and quiet. Ok for a night or two but definitely check your bedding.

The room was comfortable, and I liked that it had a table/chairs in the room. However, parts of the bathroom were a bit worn. Cabinet needs replacing and tub spout pulling away from the wall. "Breakfast" was underwhelming, with only a couple of options. And it was not out yet when I left on the morning of departure. Vending machines did not work for beverages. Staff gave no options. The hotel was ok for the price.

Bad internet connection

Overall was OK close to everything. Only problem I had was the bed was like a sleeping on steel. It was so hard, but I woke up the backache.

I was generally disappointed with this stay for two reasons. First, there were light bulbs out in our room. The staff was aware but did nothing about it. Also, the bed was one of the worst mattresses I have ever slept on. It was barely better than sleeping on the floor. It was incredibly hard and uncomfortable - I don't know how anyone could sleep on it for more than a couple hours, let alone an extended stay. Also the thermostat turned off in the middle of the night so it got stuffy, too hot to sleep.

Enormous room, with kitchenette (no utensils or plates, you have to arrange for those through the front desk), but full sized fridge, microwave, stove and dishwasher. Nice table and chairs. We only overnighted, but, as the name says, would be perfect for an extended stay, where meals out get tedious. And very quiet.

Negatives were thin walls. Room next to us partied all night. Had to ask front desk if we wanted shampoo. Free breakfast was packaged oatmeal, coffee, tea, muffins.

The check in process was easy and efficient. The room is nice and spacious with a kitchen.

This hotels is good,just you have to ask for a coffee pot,. Room was very good.Area was fine also.

Every stuff there was nice, friendly & helpful.

Maybe they’re short of staff when we arrived there was no one at reception to check-in and they left a written message that we will be back as we are assisting other customers. We waited for more than 30mins then decided to go have dinner then come back. Also had internet wifi issues. In room there was sign if you need shampoo then contact at reception. If there is no one at reception then who will wait for shampoo. Side doors was not working with card readers and one side door was permanently disabled. I won’t stay here in future.

Not only was it all the boxes i checked off but they charge your card an additional 100.00 deposit for each room. Although the gentleman said it was refundable at check out. I dont know why they have to collect a deposit. I did choose this hotel because of the price but after the deposit i could have stayed in a much much nicer hotel and not had to put up a deposit of 100.00. Learn my leson for trying to save some money. Would not be staying here again.

Awesome staff

Hotel Manager is unprofessional and rude. We checked in late Saturday night. Sunday morning we noticed shower was broken. We called the front desk to report broken shower. We were told maintenance wouldn’t be available until Monday. We were told they would get back to us with a possible solution. After calling the front desk a few times and waiting a few hours due to manager being on his lunch break and not hearing back, I called for an update. The manager had the audacity to say we didn’t need to shower until the next day. I explained to him that my husband was having a procedure done at the hospital the next morning, and we would be leaving by 7:30 AM. so shower was needed today. He confirmed that the showers would not be fixed today. I asked if we could have our room changed, which I had already asked about hours earlier, and was waiting for a response which I never got. He then confirmed that there was no rooms available for us to move to. I asked him to give us a refund for the one day because we would be leaving the hotel, which again I had already mentioned hours before that we would need to leave if they couldn’t help us get a room with a working shower. It was 3:00 P.M. when he confirmed he wouldn’t give us a refund or change our room. We packed up our stuff, booked another hotel and checked out. During checking out, he told us that we were not being patient. He clearly told me there wasn’t anything he could or would do, but yet we weren’t being patient. Worthless.

Our check in and out were easy. Abel at the desk was amazing.

Property in nice area, very clean. Front desk called shorty after check-in to make sure everything was okay. Very pleased!

My 25 year old son and girlfriend went to check in and because I wasn't there to show my I'd also the process could not happen. The night worker Cisco was great. Explained all guest need I'd to be accountable if fire. Fine, put it in your website cuz we checked before sending them over and it said over 18 with Id and card.

I had a wonderful stay. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city

Customer service in the lobby is terrible. Employees do not smile, they dont even try to apologize when anything goes wrong. I checked in around 5pm and left, I went to my room around 3:00 a.m. just to find out my room was locked from the inside with the door guard, I got scared and when to the lobby to complain, there were 2 female employees and none even said sorry, they webt and check and told me that sometimes that happenned and the room lock itself with the extra lock that supposed to be for the person inside the room only. It was really weird but the worst part is that they dont care, they take their time to help you and they dont even try to explain whats going on, I had to ask for they to give an answer of what was going on. Also my friend booked a room with 2 beds and they gave her a room with only one bed. This hotel never again. Its the worst hotel I ever been

Have stayed here numerous times and rooms look exactly like pictures on the website. Very clean. Quiet. Spacious. Desk help is very friendly and efficient. Numerous fast food places and restaurants within walking distance. My go-to place anytime I need a room. And very affordable.

Loud area and homeless people around the parking area. I heard music late at night. maybe this hotel was in a bad area that I did not know about

The hotel was very convenient close to major highway and shopping center.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was not the most comfortable, but was sufficient. We were disappointed there was no ice machine on the property and the only option was to fill the ice trays in our freezer for use the next day. Also, it is understandable that kitchen equipment needs to be picked up at the front desk, but for a one night stay shampoo should be available in the room without needing to request it from the front desk. The pre-packaged muffins, granola bars and coffee available in the lobby should not be advertised as “breakfast included”. Not a big issue but definitely not what we were expecting based on the description.

The gentleman checking in was rude, the room they put us in, was very noisy neighbors. Their breakfast was only muffins and neutral game bars, and no creamer for the coffee. We will not be staying and it extended America again.

Nice place. Stay there when on business. Really doesn’t have a breakfast except mini muffins and coffee. Food available close by. Elevator was noisy and needed service.

The complementary breakfast consisted of packaged oatmeal with lukewarm water, no milk, coffee with creamer... that's it. Nada Hair dryer issued at the front desk only. When I asked for a late checkout at 12pm instead of 11am, Abel said no. You have to leave at 11am, no exceptions. I won't be back...and, I am not a Karen

Coffee and granola bars is not breakfast. Room was very tired looking and didn’t reflect the rating from Expedia. No toiletries except a couple bars of soap.

Near highway and clean facility. Small gym but it was there and easy parking. Breakfast items were available all the time and not extremely high cost.
