The room was clean and had a nice view of the pool. The freeway can be loud but the windows are double pane so it drowns out the noise. It was nice to be able to open the windows to air out the room and get a nice breeze. The jacuzzi heat was broken but still accessible. Due to the warm weather it was still slightly warm and the jets were the real need for aching muscles. They offer separate towels for the pool at the front desk but know the towels are small and thin but still a nice addition from using your room towels. The continental breakfast is nice for a night but eating the same thing daily is rough on the stomach. The breakfast includes pancakes, muffins, toast, bagels, eggs, sausage, beans, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juices, and instant oatmeal. It is nice to have complimentary water and coffee daily near the front desk. They had vanilla creamer at the complimentary station but not in the breakfast area. It is really a perfect location because there are numerous eating spots, retail stores, movie theater and a couple of locations for your kids/young teens within walking distance, and public transportation if needed. With that said, do not leave any items in your vehicle that someone else might feel necessary to break into your car as your vehicle itself may already be a target. It can happen daylight or nighttime. Anywhere Bakersfield. I really enjoyed my stay and my experience and hope you have the same!

Older facilities in need of maintenance. Staff was friendly and helpful but the two nights with a barking dog on the floor was a problem and never resolved.

The rooms were dirty. The floors looked like they haven’t been swept in more than a week. The tub was disgusting. The bathroom was dirty. The toilet seat was rocking back back-and-forth every time you would sit on it. The iron was not working. And to top it off they asked me for a deposit I had two rooms. I got one deposit. but not for the second room. very bad experience this time.
