Servers needed in lounge. One person acting as bartender, host, server, manager. There was a pretty full bar and 20 seated for meals. Always have 2 on, at least. Also, we went to order more and told the cook closed kitchen to take his break. What? During dinner service hours? So, we didnt get more food. Maybe 2 cooks, too. The server wouldnt write anything down. Our party of four had 10 minutes to wait for menus, a forgotten coke ( Grandma) a forgotten cocktail ( husband) and totally skipped my Husband's Award-winning chil verde. She ordered it and it arrived after 2 entrees were eaten. Then my daughter ordered a burger but told no, cook's on break. Had to ask for check twice. Never offered another round, coffee, or dessert. My cranberry soda was grenadine like a Shirley Temple the second time...sigh. We had a similar experience here when we came NYEve. Things could be great with adequate coverage or management touchingvtables to turn the ship around. We spent $850 on two rooms and one dinner, 2 breakfasts, one nightcap round. So, 900 plus dollars. I wish we could recommend but if it improves please call me and I will try again. The facilities are gorgeous and I shared some of this and check-in problems with management I met on prem in morning. Thanks. We love the pool and gym. Both out of towels, tho on Monday.

Comfortable accommodations with on site bar and food service. The king suite was very spacious with a large bathroom, very comfortable for 3 adults. The bar and lounge area is lively in the evenings. A spacious patio area with games, chairs and fire pits. Close proximity to Solvang and many wineries and tasting rooms. However, outdoor areas and grounds were not well maintained. And mattress on the sofa bed was super uncomfortable.

Nice hotel in a great location! Very clean hotel with friendly staff in a convenient location. Within walking distance there are a ton of food places, Starbucks and an Albertsons. Super nice bar in the hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms are updated and very clean. Only thing that needs improvement is their hot tub. It was barely even warm. Will definitely stay here again when we are in town.

Room not properly cleaned. Garbage had not been removed from the previous guest/s. Garbage bins in the bedroom and bathroom were full. Debris from the patio had blown into the room. It appears that no vacuuming was done prior to our arrival.

Our room and the main areas of the hotel were very clean. Breakfast was excellent & pool area is great. They ran out of pool towels & did not restock, but I was able to get one from the front desk.

Very friendly staff, great fitness center and amenities however the internet was sketchy in my room - possibly due to proximity of wifi access point. The hotel clerk was able to give me a few more hotel points for my trouble

The hotel is very nice. The hot tub waa hot and right outside out room which waa very convenient. My issues are 3 things.... 1. There was a slight odor in the room. The room was clean, very clean, but there was just an odd odor. 2. The matress was nothing ton write home about. Youd expect a nicer one. It was okay. Slept fine... but.... And 3. This is the ine that bugs me... no AC. There is a room fan that you can control on the wall, but we had it set to 60 and the room never cooled down below 70. Yes, thia waa cloae to the ocean and we could have opened the sliding door, but that breaks the privacy of a hotel room too.

I called two weeks before our trip to request early check in which they said they could not guarantee so I said I would call the day of and ask if it was possible. They said they could not guarantee it AGAIN but I was still charged for it. We ended up getting there around 3 (check in was at 4 pm) since they said they couldn’t guarantee early check and had to wait in the lobby for an hour. Our AC was also broken and someone came to check and said “no it’s working” but it most definitely wasn’t. We and our two dogs were so warm but we couldn’t leave our sliding door open because we were on the first floor and that’s unsafe. We asked to change rooms but they said they were fully booked for Memorial Day weekend.

Overall, it was great. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and although the room wasn’t very big, it was comfortable and satisfactory. Breakfast was quiet, and the staff service was excellent. I would be happy to stay here again in the future.

The entire staff was extremely friendly. They made us feel very welcome since the moment we checked in. They went above and beyond to decorate and celebrate the holidays which was really a nice surprise to have and take pictures. Including the housekeepers who would greet us in the mornings were very friendly. Would love to come back here again

Booked this hotel thinking would be great experience since Marriott hotels have aways been great hotels to stay in based on our past experience wirh them. Unfortunately it was disappointing. Upon arrival fron desk lady was not welcoming. The tv in our room was not working on Friday. They were suppose to get it fix on Saturday and we check out on Sunday and t. V never worked. Same lady check us in same lady check us out and she said she was aware of issues with 3rd floor T. V's not working seem she did not even care or wanted to hear about it. This Marriott hotel is very different from all the other Marriott hotels we have stayed in.

I wish we could recommend but if it improves please call me and I will try again. The facilities are gorgeous and I shared some of this and check-in problems with management I met on prem in morning. Thanks. We love the pool and gym. Both out of towels, tho on Monday.

Sadly, the room\'s toilet did not work and also had someone else\'s residual urine on it. This was brought to the attention of desk staff, but a repair was not performed before check-out. At check out, desk staff was also asked if they could discount the room, or perhaps add a future Marriott discount. They refused and said to "contact Expedia" since the reservation was performed via that service and that "we cannot do anything."

Conveniently located by Hwy 101. If you are travelling on a Tesla, there are 18 superchargers right on the parking lot (opening very soon I think). The property, although not perfect, is in great condition. Scratches and patches on the wall here and there, but not bad. At night, we slept very well. It was very quiet and all the big windows can be totally covered and room totally darkened. Nice foyer and patio. Spacious bedroom, sitting room, and bathroom. We'll be staying here if we visit the area again.

Super nice bar in the hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms are updated and very clean. Only thing that needs improvement is their hot tub. It was barely even warm. Will definitely stay here again when we are in town.

We stayed at this property numerous times and it has become our favorite in the region. We have always been treated well by the staff. The rooms are large and comfortable. The lobby bar/restaurant is great for winding down after visiting wineries. The pizzas are highly recommended. We also love starting and ending our days with an espresso. On property Tesla superchargers are a great convenience. Hotel is very conveniently located in Santa Barbara/Santa Maria wine country. I recommend requesting a quiet room as we encountered some loud foot traffic in the hallways. Overall, this is a great hotel in this region. I can't say it is absolutely perfect but definitely our favorite.

My biggest issue was the fact that every hotel around the world has free continental breakfast and the Marriot does not. I thought paying $56 for the both of us was very high considering it was no different than the breakfast at the best western for free. We do understand the area but come on breakfast?

Upon arrival all was good and our room was to our liking - spacious, with a balcony and with a spa tub. When using the tub one of the jets did not work and it was impossible to drain so we had to call the front desk to send someone up. We then decided to try the on site restaurant, 555, and arrived for dinner at 7:30. We were told the ONLY cook was on break (during dinner hours on a Saturday???) and would be back in 30 if that was ok. We figured it wasn't a big idea and said we would wait. The quiet and uncomfortably awkward waitress gave us menus and got drinks but did not take our orders until the cook returned. 30 minutes then passed and we asked about the delay. She stated that "every put there order in at once when he got back so he is running late". After a full hour I went to the front to complain and again ask where our meals were. She said "Oh they are coming right up". The vegetables looked like the were cooked before hand and were waiting, the chicken was burned and the $50 bacon wrapped steak was a poorly cooked steak with bacon bits on the top. Highly disappointed. Then when we were going to bed discovered no extra bedding for the pull out couch so had to call the desk. Received pillows, sheets and the thinnest blanket I've ever had. Sadly we won't be returning as the looks of this hotel were deceiving.

This place was incredible. I surprised my wife with a quick get-a-way trip up the Santa Ynez. She's appreciates wine a lot more than I do, and she was not disappointed by any means. The location is great that's close to wineries, Solvang, a very famous beer brewery, ostrich farm, and more wineries. The staff was nothing short of amazing. Our remote control wasn't working and the front desk brought us up one at 1 am. The pool ran out of towels and the staff went and brought us out 4 towels before they continued on working their shift. The jacuzzi was set way too high, and the engineering guy turned it down for us without hesitation. Also, the maids were very generous in providing extra coffee packets. Not sure if we'll be going back to Santa Ynez in the future or not, but if we do, we'll definitely be staying here again. We got the king size suite, and it was definitely worth the extra money. It had a huge living area, a massive bathroom, and the room itself was gigantic.
