We stayed here due to it's convenience to both the airport and where we rented a car. The shuttle service schedule to the airport is merely a suggestion, as the shuttle arrived at the airport at least 15 minutes late. Still, the times we stayed the rooms were nice.

Good value for the money! It’s 10 minutes away from Terminal 1, the shuttle service is reliable and comes on time. And they have delicious complimentary coffee beverages at the front desk and extra drinks and snacks for sale. I only had a few hours between flights and it was a nice place to crash without spending a fortune. Very friendly staff.

Perfect easy stay near the airport with a surprisingly pretty view of the water nearby the next morning. I didn't catch his name, but the man at the front desk was very kind and helpful explaining my transportation options. The free shuttle service was great!

2 of 3 lamps did not work, shower curtain was so small i had to put my clothes to stop water from flooding floor. There was a cockroach in bathroom and 1 in microwave. 1 of coffee packs was open. Room also smelled moldy. Very disappointed.

The room smells terrible, it's a very old building, picture in the reservation looks clean and nice. But the room 102 smells terrible, walls and paint in the restroom and shower area it's in bad condition. Plus i didn't know that we have to make a deposit of $150. Hope they return it. Bad experience, bad costumer service.

If you want to stay in a room with a mosquito infestation then you found the right hotel. There were 40-50 mosquitos flying around the room all night. I killed 20 but they still kept coming up. Im allergic to bug bites. When i told front desk they told me, “we will let maintenance know”. No apology, no type if refund, nothing. They were all over the room, beds, bathroom toilet. Stay away from this place. It is disgusting.

I tried to check in and get my room key when I arrived a bit early because I had some place to be til late evening. I was told there would be a free of $25. Came back late and checked in. Room was a basic hotel room. But the floor was sticky. The bathroom vent/fan was stuck "on" so I had to keep the door shut. I went to put my left over dinner in the fridge but it was full of precious persons food. It wasn't cleaned out! It was convenient to the airport. But not much selection in places to get food. Bed was comfortable but pillows were too big/thick for my liking.

Cleaned our room 1 time during 10 day stay. The woman at reception desk Ignored request for toilet paper etc. We had to buy cleaning supplies to clean our room and we finally left and checked into a different hotel due to the lack of service and rude behavior by woman in charge. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

The entry door had to be almost slammed shut to lock. Bedding had a funky odor Whole room had a musty smell. Tv didn’t work , it was fixed quickly by a nice lady. Paper thin walls I could hear the couple in the next room talking almost all night . Close to the airport and staff was polite.

We loved the view behind the Vagabond Inn—watching planes land was surprisingly peaceful! The coffee machine was solid, and the shuttle was convenient (though be ready to get squished—it serves multiple hotels and seatbelts weren’t an option). We didn’t get room service, but we found the laundry room and scored some fresh towels. That was about it for amenities. There were some dead bugs, patched-up walls, and you could see daylight through the door. The “occupied” sign kept falling off, which felt metaphorical. A hot breakfast was advertised, but nope. We had to buy overpriced microwave meals from the snack bar (more expensive than airport food), and when we asked for utensils, we were told to buy more food. So yeah—utensils are rare treasure here. We walked 45 minutes to the nearest grocery store. The fridge and microwave worked (freezer was too frosty), and the heater was loud but effective. Thankfully, earplugs were provided since the walls were thin and we were next to the lot. We were charged $20/night for my husband’s service dog, but the room was never cleaned. We were gone from 12–5 daily, so time wasn’t the issue. Front desk was phone-absorbed, but the laundry staff was kind and helpful. Grateful for the view and earplugs, but we’ll pass next time.

The stay in general was ok, the photos on here probably oversell the place. It wasn’t exactly as I expected, but saying that I would stay again. Having a room with balcony was the best part and the saving grace for the stay, as could sit outside looking out across the bay, ok the airport is out there, but there was no noise. The room in general was clean and bed comfortable. The bathroom was adequate, needed some updating and cleaning, but ok for a 1 night stay.

The room was in poor shape. Furniture was heavily worn, wallpaper was peeling, and it had a funky smell. Worst hotel bed I've ever slept in. Mattress was hard and seemed very, very old, and pillows were lumpy. And you can't even plug a FireStick into the TV! Would not recommend.

Please fix your AC system it’s not working as expected, even when selecting AC it runs heater. Also rooms are not at all good with noise proofing. So much noice comes from corridors or streets.

I recently stayed at Vagabond Inn Executive San Francisco Airport Bayfront, and I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. Despite having enjoyed previous stays at this hotel, my most recent visit was marred by an extremely disappointing check-in process and the unprofessional behavior of the front desk clerk, KIMBERLY. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that Kimberly had a rough demeanor and displayed a lack of courtesy. Her dismissive attitude and rude remarks made me feel unwelcome and undervalued as a guest. Although I initially brushed it off, assuming she might have been having a bad day, the unpleasantness persisted throughout our interaction. Moreover, when I requested an additional room key, Kimberly's response was both unhelpful and condescending. She seemed to disregard basic customer service etiquette and lacked the professionalism one would expect in the hospitality industry. As someone who works in customer service myself, I was appalled by her unapologetic behavior and her refusal to acknowledge the impact of her tone of voice. I believe that a hotel's front desk clerks are the face of the establishment and play a crucial role in shaping guests' experiences. Unfortunately, Kimberly's conduct left a lasting negative impression on my stay. As a result, I now find myself hesitant to consider future stays at this hotel and hesitant to recommend it to others, despite having done so in the past. I would never hire and employee like her.

We had the best person at the front desk. We were traveling with our daughter who was staying in a separate room. The woman made sure we had adjoining rooms without us even asking. She was very nice, she also pointed out the schedule for the shuttle to the airport. The hotel is older, but has character and is situated in a great location. It has a great feel about it. In the morning I shared the elevator with a pilot, so you know if folks from the airlines are staying there it’s a fine establishment. Overall we had a great time. We would stay again.

The man on reception was most helpful and informative. He allowed us to store our bags before check in whilst we explored San Francisco. The only slight problem was at the airport. It was difficult to hear the person speaking at the hotel on the phone at the bus stop. Over all it was a great experience.

The furniture in the room was in very poor condition (desk, chest of drawers, upholstered chair. Also the front desk person was very rude - got angry at me for the card keys not working. When I asked her name - she said Ana - not sure if that was the truth.

The furniture in the room was in very poor condition (desk, chest of drawers, upholstered chair. Also the front desk person was very rude - got angry at me for the card keys not working. When I asked her name - she said Ana - not sure if that was the truth.

They booked us a room that already had someone staying in there. The person in there threaten us because we went inside when he was sleeping. He woke up as we where opening the door and told us to "get the f... out or we are dead!" It was a scary experience.

After a long bit of traveling and being around a lot of people, I wanted some solitude. It was a plus to be near the water. I didn't need much and this was just right. I had a ride to SFO in the morning. There was free coffee. The room looked and smelled clean. I enjoyed having a place to walk while the sun went down and when it came up again the next day.

We needed a place to stay close to the airport on the Old Bay Shore trail across from SFO. This is a standard, old fashioned motel, with no breakfast, but free earplugs! You can't beat the price in this fantastic location. Good and very good restaurants, great walking path with plenty of benches for enjoying the view. Free parking and shuttle to and from the airport.

This a perfectly adequate place for an overnight stay— nothing fancy. There isn’t really much in the way of food but you can buy packaged snacks and coffee from a machine in the lobby. The airport shuttle only runs every 45 minutes, which doesn’t compare favorably with those of other hotels, but then again it’s cheaper

Shuttle did the job. Walkable delicious sushi. On the Bay- nice sunset walk enjoying the planes taking off and landing and bird sanctuary. Midnight sideshow in the parking lot next door woke us up a lot.

Great place to stay for a few nights after arrival from the U.K. before hitting the road in our RV into the Rockies. Staff were excellent, free coffee in reception but no normal milk just the flavoured stuff , not for me, coffee is coffee flavour and not tasting like soda! Coffee was good though drinking it black. The area is safe, walk along the bay path. Food wise, if you like Chinese then you’re sorted, if not then there’s a place called Max’s around 10 minute walk south, very nice with a bar. Breakfast, we walked to Millbrae to the north and went to Pete’s cafe, very good.

We loved the view behind the Vagabond Inn—watching planes land was surprisingly peaceful! The coffee machine was solid, and the shuttle was convenient (though be ready to get squished—it serves multiple hotels and seatbelts weren’t an option). We didn’t get room service, but we found the laundry room and scored some fresh towels. That was about it for amenities. There were some dead bugs, patched-up walls, and you could see daylight through the door. The “occupied” sign kept falling off, which felt metaphorical. A hot breakfast was advertised, but nope. We had to buy overpriced microwave meals from the snack bar (more expensive than airport food), and when we asked for utensils, we were told to buy more food. So yeah—utensils are rare treasure here. We walked 45 minutes to the nearest grocery store. The fridge and microwave worked (freezer was too frosty), and the heater was loud but effective. Thankfully, earplugs were provided since the walls were thin and we were next to the lot. We were charged $20/night for my husband’s service dog, but the room was never cleaned. We were gone from 12–5 daily, so time wasn’t the issue. Front desk was phone-absorbed, but the laundry staff was kind and helpful. Grateful for the view and earplugs, but we’ll pass next time.

Typical hotel/motel close to SFO & it served my purpose. Easy to get to. There is a shuttle or local bus the 292. Costs €2. Microwave, Fridge & good shower facilities as next to the bay. Not somewhere to take your partner for a weekend but it served my needs

This was a perfectly fine place to stay. A very easy drive to and from the airport (about 5 minutes with no traffic, and closer to 10 minutes at peak hours.) the staff was friendly, rooms were tidy, bed was comfy. The walking path behind the building the great. And you can watch the airplanes land and take off! While the hotel does not serve food, they had refrigerated and shelf stable snacks, drinks, and even some alcoholic beverages. We were also provided with a list of restaurants within walking distance.

The room was sort of clean, there was hair and dustballs in the bathroom. We only stayed for a few hours before catching an early flight from SFO, so it was not much of an issue. The curtains did not close and we're falling off the rod because they were torn. The staff was extremely polite and helpful.

The front desk staff was wonderful, telling me where I should go eat, when asked if there was anything good around. She provided me a list and told me the one she likes to go. The property is dated, the shower pressure was not very good, and it did not get as cool in the room as i wanted. But, this was one of the cheapest places you could get in the area. It was loud outside at one point in the evening, with someone yelling, but the room came with ear plugs. Traffic was not bad in this area and there were plenty of places you could get what you need.

Room was very clean. Iron/ironing table, blow dryer, microwave, and minifridge were nice amenities. Variety of fresh and frozen food and beverages available for purchase in lobby. The staff was very helpful with inquiries about public transportation. Large parking lot for guests with vehicles. Airport shuttle pick-up and return schedule ran on time. San Francisco Bay views from my room and walking trail along bay 20 yards from hotel. Would stay here again. The room rate was a steal for the quality of this airport hotel.
