We enjoyed our weekend very much. Front desk staff was friendly and friendly. The room was clean and easily accommodated the 3 of us. The pool and spa, altho small, were clean and inviting. The courtyard, so cute. Down town was an easly mile walk. We had a great visit!

Very quiet room. Thank goodness as there is major street work down the road. Pools smallish but very nice temperature. Steam room and sauna clean. Just wish there had been a shower newr the pools for a rinse off and some cooling off. Will definitely go back!

Seems like the rooms were recently renovated/updated and were nice and clean. The steam room and sauna by the pools seemed brand new, clean and well kept. Pool/hot springs area is a bit outdated but still did the trick for a nice spa weekend.

We enjoyed our stay! The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The mineral pool and jacuzzi were very nice to soak in after a day of exploration. Sauna and steam room were nice too! The only complaint would be the accumulation of trash outside the rooms. Multiple bags on the ground and trash outside was not emptied the entire time we were there (2.5 days). Overall, it was nice and I would stay here again.

The small mineral pool was good along with the sauna and steam room. Bed was comfortable. The downside was the view was of the parking lot , one chair for two guests, loud AC , baseboard falling off the wall and the sink was dirty around the drain. 😬

Being an Expedia-purchased room, we were relegated to the ground-floor room nearest the dumpster (which is emptied at 6:30am on Fridays). Starbucks auto coffee dispenser in lobby was a nice touch. Newer-looking room furnishings with a good fridge but no freezer. Patio railings need repainting. Thin walls make amorous neighbors audible.

The heating system is so freaking loud, everytime it began working woke us up. Even if you turn your's off, the heating system from room´s next to ours kept waking us up all night. Impossible to sleep. They should invest in silent systems.... HORRIBLE NIGHT!

We checked in an hour early and was welcomed . No problem. The lobby has coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Very good. The first night we drive to dinner and discovered it was right across the street. After that we walked….everything was so convenient. The pool and hot tub were very nice. Unfortunately both the pool and hot tub were crowded. But when it thinned out it was so relaxing. I would definitely go again.

Overpriced for the quality of rooms and amenities. It is an okay stay priced at luxury level. No indoor gathering area for small groups. Beds were okay, and only small snacks available for purchase on the property during open hours only. Coffee machine was great! Morning office personnel was great, evening ... not personable at all.

The property could have been considered OK. However, the staff, check-in girl was TERRIBLE! She was nasty and didn’t have a care for customer service. From there it only got worse. Stayed here two nights and when I returned for the day after 5PM, I found the room wasn’t cleaned. I went to the front desk and lo and behold the same ‘wonderful’ girl was at the front desk ‘helping’ another couple. When she finished with them, she looked at me and was nasty again. I said that I just returned to my room and that it wasn’t cleaned. She sharply retorted, “I told you that you had to request housekeeping by 11AM” - I responded that I don’t believe you did. She snapped back, “Yes, I did”. I asked if I could at least get some clean towels. She said fine and went to get some. While she was away, the other couple said, “She didn’t tell us either and we were just going thru the same problem with her.” The property could be good, but the unfriendly staff made it a Terrible stay. Don’t ever plan on returning here!!

Everything was fine except for check in. We were in the area for a family event and figured it was easier to check in post even to not be going back and forth. Upon check in I was asked why we were checking in so late. :-/ I know I didn’t owe the guy an explanation but it felt like I was being scolded and on curfew. Just do your job. Also on our way to the room it was dusk and there were no lights working in the corridors. It was a little scary considering how quiet and secluded the place was. Other than that things were great.

Loved the sauna and steam room. Took advantage of the free bike for a couple of hours and rode to town and was able to visit the Sharpsteen museum (free admission). Less than 10 minute drive to Castello di Amorosa castle winery.

The pool is adjacent to a very busy road and so its loud: NOT relaxing. The room was also facing the highway and we heard traffic all night. No landscaping apart from the entrance. The courtyard was very univiting. The pool towels, when available, are toddler sized, thin and worn. Very disappointing stay.

This was our second stay at A Valley in the past year. It is clean and comfortable, and we really enjoy hanging out in the courtyard, enjoying a bottle of wine or our coffee and breakfast, or relaxing in the pool or hot tub is a short walk to the many dining options and spas in Calistoga. The great prices allow you to save your money for wine tasting, dining and spa experiences and we really appreciate that we will definitely be coming back.

Loved the clean open air mineral pool, steam room & sauna. Access to Starbucks coffee & hot chocolate in the lobby with Keurig coffee/tea pods & fridge in the room made the stay comfortable and enjoyable. Staff were friendly & helpful.

Great place for a quick get away. Mineral water pool and hot tub, steam room and sauna are a great added bonus! No food on site, but there is a great restaurant across the street.

Overpriced for the quality of rooms and amenities. It is an okay stay priced at luxury level. No indoor gathering area for small groups. Beds were okay, and only small snacks available for purchase on the property during open hours only. Coffee machine was great! Morning office personnel was great, evening ... not personable at all.

The room was quite spacious with 2 queen beds. Bed could have been a little harder for my liking! The bathroom was great as it had a walk-in shower and I am handicap so I loved that feature instead of having to climb over a bathtub. Also, the hotel is close to downtown. The down side is no restaurant on property and no continental breakfast.

Water machine was out and it would be helpful to have 2 ice machines and a few more items to purchase in the reception area. Love the Starbuck coffee machine!

This is one of the few reasonably priced lodgings in Calistoga, and it has mineral water pools. The pools could use a little upkeep. The steam room and sauna are great! Rooms are nice, though basic. No breakfast, but you can get coffee or hot chocolate anytime from a machine. It's on the edge of town, but still walkable. Overall, a nice place with nice staff.

We were there for only one night , the pool and jacuzzi was not clean and very disappointing, we couldn’t find a shower after the steam room ! So we thought maybe there is cold plunge ! Nope ! Our room was next to the pool so we had to close the curtains to not have people literally walking by next to our room , the facility itself was clean , staff were friendly and location was good just do not get it next to the street or the pool .

The property is nice and the location perfect for the area. The room was simple, mostly clean. The bathroom inside door and the walls around it need to be scrubbed clean but the rest was nice. The pool area is simple but could use some updating around the tiles. The hot tub isn't hot but its warmer than the pool. We'd stay here again but it wouldn't be our first choice.
