Homeless people sleeping at front entrance. Garbage, alot of litter on front & back property. Swimming pool was empty of water & full with garbage. Room & bathroom floors both very filthy, could not walk shoeless. NO amenities in room. Sink was hanging off the wall in bathrrom

Out of the 3 rooms we booked only one was available so we had to find other accomodations. Pool looks like it had not seen water in a decade.

The room was very clean and sterile. The parking lot and surrounding outside area is a complete wreck though. My assumption is that they are renovating so if you stay in your room you shouldn't have an issue.

The bed top blanket had lots of burnt holes, has one white sheet and the bottom box sheet was dirty full of hairs. The outside was dirty the pool was empty and had beds in the pool area and homeless people all around

Was great besides the cleaning needs to be better and there was no pool

There was no parking in the motel area just in a alley so I had to park blocks away

First some facts: it was a motel, not a hotel / its located in the poorer part of San Diego area / at the time it was on the cheaper side of available locations per night / did not spend the days here, only to sleep LIKES: - pricing, although not the best I went during a time that all hotel/motel pricing was high - free parking - outdoor security cameras - 24hr front office - near bus/trolley system - fridge and microwave (a surprise) - it was clean, not pristine but clean DISLIKES: - furniture was in poor state but functional - internet was not secure - interior walls had minimal cosmetic damage (scratches,etc) - towels were small in size and few - bathroom soap and shampoo, tiny and rarely replaced (had to get my own) - no ice machine Would I recommend? - if your expectation is you get what you pay for / reasonable and not expecting pampering, probably so. Would not recommend for a family, however. Would I go again? - Maybe, I went because my options were limited and it was available. I may have gotten lucky on the room type. I was also alone and am used to accommodating short times of living roughly.

The motel did not had parking space and it does not mention it as limited space. Looks like is under remodeling, the out side looks scary, for me as women traveling, reception also look bad, but was too late and already pay for it that did not had any other choice but stay. the room looked new but did have phone. Don`t know what kind of people was staying even though the types of cars inse look new, someone kept knocking our door several times through the night but with no phone there was no way to call reception.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we entered the room, it was clear the place had not been properly cleaned in a long time. There were dirty towels, visible dirt and grime on the floors, smears on the walls, and most disturbingly, bugs in the bed. To top it off, we found an undisclosed object of an unidentifiable shape in the freezer – completely unacceptable. Trying to address these issues with the front desk turned into another nightmare. It took a full argument just to get refunded for one night, despite the condition of the room being completely uninhabitable. On top of the filth, the property felt incredibly unsafe. We were chased to our room twice by a homeless individual wandering the property, and ended up sleeping with chairs pushed against the door just to feel a shred of security. Save yourself the stress, health risk, and potential danger. Do not stay here.

Bed Bugs. Dirty Towels. Broken Smoke Detector. Uninterested Staff. Permanent mold and mildew smell in the bathroom. Scratched up "graffitied" mirror. Weird floor plan were you needed to have the body of a child to get between the bed and the bathroom. Definitely deserve a refund but I know they won't do it. Checked in and immediately checked the condition of the bathroom and linens to see they were stained. Went to the front desk to request new ones and they looked at me like it's my fault, knowing very well I had just checked in 15min prior. Two days later they replaced them again during "room service and gave me towels in similar condition. At which point they looked at me like a sworn enemy when I was just requesting the most basic of decency. I understand the concept of "you get what you pay for" but there should still be an enforceable bare minimum of service quality.

Terrible experience. The worst hotel Ive been in my intire life. False advertisement at its finest. Disgusting room, menstrual blood on the not so white bed sheets. Extremely disgusting bathroom with mold and diarrhea marks on the walls, holes in the shower courtain. Everything was disgusting on the inside. I had to leave 1 night before because i couldn’t handle it. The outside was full of homeless people doing crack right outside my door, some people live there permanently and sleep on the pool side with a mattress they don’t show you in the pictures. The pool had no water and there was trash everywhere outside the motel

Room was really dirty . The blankets had large cigarette burns. The room smelled like a realy strong insense and or burnt sage. Disgusting

the place is getto. their front desk are rude. the room is dirty, bed sheets got moles on it, towels are dirty as if they also got moles on it. saw cockroach on the bathroom. they’re not going to give ur refund back.

Big7 Motel, This place is unsafe, filthy, and completely inconvenient. The beds and towels are so dirty you wouldn’t even pick them up off the street. The health department should shut it down immediately.

The room was so dirty. Just DIRTY. Take cleaning supplies bedding and shower supplies The towel was small and you could see right through it. Its horrible im surprised expedia even put it on their website. NEVER AGAIN. Manager watched as one cleaning lady tried to clean all the rooms with complaints and everyone was complaining

Bed sheets had cigarette burns, found a roach in the bathroom. If you are on a low budget, this is the place.

DO NOT waste your money here. I understand you pay for what you get but I’ve traveled to a lot of places before, and payed way less for a decent stay. This place was disgusting. First off, everything was stained, the chair, the couch, the pillows, the shower curtain, the towels, everything. I’m talking brown stains on the towels and shower curtain and red stains on the chairs. Secondly, I couldn’t even pickup anything without hair being on it. There was long black hair on the pillows, the sheets, and the bathroom sink and graffiti was written on the mirrors and in the fridge. There’s also a lot of weird activities going on outside too. Drug dealers selling dope out of rooms, tweakers getting high on the steps and digging out of the garbage can, prostitutes going in and out of rooms, and people sleeping in their car in the parking lot. This hotel doesn’t even have enough respect or decency for their guests to put lightbulbs in the lamps or clean the mold out of their fridges. My point being is this, they should be shut done or sold out to someone who cares to have a decent hotel. Overall this place could get someone seriously sick or hurt from the people that they let hang around there.

BEWARE: this is a low-quality, older motel building with outdated rooms, dirty furniture, missing fire alarm, burnt out electrical socket, and some long-term tenants who caused noise, disruptions, and unease all night long. Room had worn and dirty walls, hole in the bed sheet, and unclean shower. Room to the left seemed like long-term tenants who played loud music late into the night. Room to the right had some fight in the night which led to a police visit. In the morning those people had loud sex against our shared wall. Very low quality hotel definitely not for families. Beware when booking. Listing does not accurately reflect true condition of room or level of quality. Would NOT recommend.

NO wifi.

This was a last minute booking because our first hotel ended up canceling our reservation without notice. We stayed here for a total of 3 days. Booked 2 originally then added a third. Even though we chose to stay a third night our stay left much to be desired. Our first and second day were ok… the first night the couple next door was having a drunken karaoke session ALL NIGHT. There was no effort to make them abide by the “Quiet Time” rule that is posted at the front desk. There were no towels or wash cloths and since we got in so late no way of getting them. The shower had very little water pressure and it was like solving a Rubik’s cube trying to figure out how to make the water hot enough to be able to stand in it. Then on our extra day, we ended up having to switch rooms bc the others were reserved already. We were moved to a room that was freshly renovated but was unfinished. We had to pay an additional $50 to stay in this room but it was even further subpar than the first one. The “window unit” only had option for AC there was no heat at all. So we froze all night, the walls were paper thin, there were parts of the room that were major safety issues, such as the door not latching securely and moving inside the door frame with the slightest breeze, it also didn’t close flush to the frame and the peep hole glass was completely removed. It was just an empty hole. As in, I could stick my finger through it. The water/plumbing situation in the bathroom was even worse! TBC

The doors don't meet the floor and have gaps around the edges. The floors were dirty. The blankets were not adequate and had burn holes in them. There is very little parking on the property, and you must find parking on the street. The neighborhood is not that safe.

Not so clean, items missing, television out of service,

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However some of the customers were very rude, selfish and played music very loud and we had to request for management to request to lower the volume. The bedding was not very comfortable either.

Televisión and refrigerator did not work Had no phone to reach front desk

I enjoy the suite I had !! But the sheets were dirty when I pulled them off of the bed and my toilet paper holder fell off the wall, there’s no phone and there’s also no WiFi . The staff there was great the lady in the front was nice and so was the guy working there & also the people working there overall experience would be 7/10

The neighbors on either side of me were up all night, loud banging kept me awake. Did not get any rest. I want my $ back

The internet service was very poor with very slow connectivity. Housekeeping did not come around until the day I was checking out. Overall, the general condition of the property has seen better days.

They denied me my stay when I got there! I was trying to check in and they told me my reservation didn’t exist! I booked through Expedia and eventually found out that someone else had canceled the reservation without my knowledge. I explained my case to the staff—no luck. I tried getting a refund—still no luck yet. Don’t go here. It’s an unsafe neighborhood anyway.

the guy didn't let me pay with the Hotel's app even that i show him my reservation he wanted in cash and i had to pay 35 dlls more it's sad they play around with this app i trust the hotels app for every day work related trips , but the hotel was good can't complain about it i like it but the front desk it's shady ,,,,?

I accidentally booked it twice for the same date and reservation and they wouldn’t give me a refund for the accidental reservation

No customer service at all. Staff is super rude. And police show up while trying to get room key. Ghetto as can be kind of place

Hotel staff were not helpful, kept giving me the run around on the reservation and trying to say I didnt have one even after showing them receipts and confirmation numbers and even after it became clear that they had messed up offered no apologies or even admitted that they screwed up. Had to call Hotels.com before they finally let me have the room I had already paid for. Add to that the rooms were dirty, the sheets had cigarette burns all over them (this was a non-smoking room by the way). No soap in the restroom, couldn't get anyone to help me at the office when I went to ask for some. This is a one star hotel charging the rates of a three star. Unless you have no other options, avoid this hotel like the plague.

Owner was really helpful did a great job making sure I had everything I needed for my stay. Housekeeping was great also and came to my room the next day to clean and see if I needed anything. Owners are really friendly and made this a pleasurable experience.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Parking was a little difficult, but one of the staff members helped me get a spot close to my room. The room was clean, it smelled good, but had a couple flies.

*** Due to the area I would never stay here again*** Here is my review of this place: Outside area: 0 of 5 stars, it has a lot of homeless right outside the hotel and it is dirty and unsafe at late hours. Front desk: 1of 5 stars, they were really rude and rushed me, they also wanted my details like home address even thought I had shown my ID. Inside room: 2 of 5, not as bad as it looks outside so as long as you hunker down you should be good. The bed was decent but pillows and blankets were questionable. The bathroom was good and the A/C was good that’s why I gave a 2. Parking lot: 1of5, doesn’t look safe to leave your vehicle parked there for a full night. Luckily I uber there. Honestly, if you are short on cash is better to just stay in a hostel downtown, instead of risking it out here. It feels like a gangsters movie hotel where they are waiting for a package. Is not even that cheap I paid 136 dollars, for something that I value at maybe 75. Expedia do yourself a favor and remove this hotel from your listing. I may look for other platforms to book if you don’t QA your hotels.
