1. There wasn't clear information on where the parking garage was 2. We were woke up at 6 am by construction - not that the hotel can control that, but I'd wait till that is done, or maybe the hotel could give warnings.

My mother was admitted to the hospital with a serious condition, so my wife met me in Nashville and we stayed here for 1 night. The place was nice, clean, just a good standard hotel experience. All we needed was a shower and a nap. But beware of the $30 per vehicle parking fee added on that I never found on the booking page. Thought that was kind of shifty to add $60 to our $188 bill once we got there, just to park our cars. We left and parked 1 car at VUMC parking to save $30, because VUMC allows free parking……kinda like Hyatt Place should have too, or at least had it added to the charges BEFORE I arrived at the front desk…..

Confirmed with the staff on check-in about having a restaurant open in the evening. Went down for dinner was told there was no food delivery therefore the restaurant was not open. Asked to speak to a manager. Was told that there wouldn’t be anybody in until noon the next day, which is after checkout. Don’t trust them they charge $30 a night for parking on top of your hotel fee. Go somewhere else. It’s not worth it.

The property lists that it has a restaurant I was there for a hospital appointment and cannot drive. I confirmed on check-in that they had a restaurant they confirmed that they did in the lounge area and it would be open from 5 PM till 10 PM. I go down at 6 PM for dinner to be told that they did not have a food delivery in therefore did not have any food on the menu available. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told that there was nobody in charge on site until noon the following day after checkout. They also don’t mention that they charge $30 a night for parking each night so be aware of that and be wary that they do not have a bar and restaurant that is open every night and they will lie to you when you check in and ask about it.
