It was comfortable for an overnight stay. The bed was comfy, there's a desk and chair plus another side chair and ottoman. Two side tables. The bathroom was good. Decent breakfast in the morning. The property could use more maintenance. There were two washers and dryers, but only one of each worked. It was good to have at least one available though. There are several feral cats roaming the property. They really should pressure wash the walkways. Overall decent place. A few places to eat nearby.

From E2E our stay was very enjoyable. Only rub was that the pool was closed. However, everything else was fantastic. The cats the roam the property are fun to check out each day too!

Driving From Washington Back to San Diego and decided to break up the long drive at the last minute. We were very impressed with our room and the Inn’s outdoor aesthetic. We were traveling with our small dog and we loved that they had a designated area for pets which included turf and real grass. Inside the room, it was very clean, updated, nicely decorated, and had a nice smell when you entered the room. This was a nice surprise after having stayed in two other Super 8 rooms which were super underwhelming. In addition the breakfast that they offer five stars they had so many different options they had both cold and hot, which included cereal, bagels, toast, yogurt, eggs, turkey, sausage, potatoes, and they had a machine that let you make your own waffles. I would definitely recommend the best western big country Inn to anyone that may be traveling up the West Coast and need a place to rest for the night. It’s well worth the money.

Decent for stopping along the way. Reasonably clean, breakfast was passable. Parking was easy. Pigeons made a lot of noise and there were several feral cats wandering around, but they were not a bother. Access to I-5 was quick.

We usually look forward to our stays at BW hotels. However, this was probably the worst BW experience. The bathroom floor looked dirty, the mattress sloped on one side so we had to sleep in the middle. We were in room 101, birds or bats chirped all night long and there were bugs inside and outside the room due to the bird poop on the ground. The breakfast was ok.

The entire employee team is excellent. From the front desk to grounds keepers to the breakfast ladies to the ladies who clean the rooms. Professional, warm, polite and on the job.the included breakfasts have good protein option. The only things I'd like to see inproved is washing down bird scat all over the walkways, which gets in rolling luggage and tracked into otherwise clean rooms. Also, closing breakfast at 8 30 Mondays through Fridays is rough if you're exhausted from a road trip and need more time and sleep. Please upgrade room coffee quality for the room price. Otherwise a good value. Again, kudos to the employees, and thank you

This was perfect for a quiet nights rest while on long roadtrip. My experience with staff were good, the one story (bungalow style) setup was differently cool vs the 2/3/4 story usual buildings, the room itself...all was a pleasant experience.

The front desk staff, Jose, was really friendly and yet professional. The room is very clean, and came with complimentary two bottles of water. My only complaint is the cleaning supply smell was way too overpowering and quickly gave me a headache. We left the front door open for about 10 minutes or so to ventilate the air and about 20 flies flew into the room. We must have spent an hour catching all the flies. Other than that, an excellent stay!

great location off I-5 Dennys next door. Breakfast was enjoyable and the beds were super comfortable. Only dig on this place was when the wind blew you could smell the manure from the cattle ranch near by.

It's very close to the 5 fwy and Harris ranch but you'll have to endure the concentrated smell of manure that permeates everything and the feral cats all over the property. I'm really allergic to cats so my allergies were triggered right away. It's convenient to have breakfast available.

The entire employee team is excellent. From the front desk to grounds keepers to the breakfast ladies to the ladies who clean the rooms. Professional, warm, polite and on the job.the included breakfasts have good protein option. The only things I'd like to see inproved is washing down bird scat all over the walkways, which gets in rolling luggage and tracked into otherwise clean rooms. Also, closing breakfast at 8 30 Mondays through Fridays is rough if you're exhausted from a road trip and need more time and sleep. Please upgrade room coffee quality for the room price. Otherwise a good value. Again, kudos to the employees, and thank you

The bathroom floor had a sticky substance that got on the bottom of my shoes. I had to scrub them to get them clean. The pigeons on the roof started at 5:00am. The breakfast was terrible. I will never stay there again.

I arrived late at night and the surrounding area seemed safe. I was traveling with family and a toddler. Premises and rooms were decently clean. Breakfast was not great but it was free. My only complaint was the terrible smell of cat feces. There are feral cats everywhere and I couldn’t leave fast enough in the morning.

Carpet was soaked. I assume the shower behind the wall leaking. Terrible smell outside (perhaps the cattle farms in the area?). Staff was very nice, but wouldn’t stay here again for $200 a night.

Great stay for the location. Yummy eggs, waffles etc. wish they had one more waffle maker but it was great overall. I took off a star bc the location / smell/ lack of hot tub. But there’s also the coolness of kitties everywhere on the property!

Breakfast was decent. Conveniently located close to highway which makes it a good place to stop and rest while on a road trip. Staff was nice, parking is easy.

I had a terrible experience with this hotel I was visiting from Colorado to a family event close by,I booked a room through expedia . I made my reservation 2 days prior and the one more the same day I supposed to stay on June 20th. I have the 2 confirmation numbers that expedia provided me. We arrived around 12:30ish am. The receptionist told they were not expecting more guests all the rooms were occupied and I was not even the system they were not expecting me .but surprisingly my credit card was charged and when I did the claim with expedia the hotel staff put me as I didn't show up. This is unacceptable they were cameras there and I was there with my family in the middle of the night without a place to stay. I'm very disappointed how the hotel is managing this situation. 😡😡😡😡
