Nothing worked at their motel. TV, hot water and microwave. When we checked in we were notified that the room we booked wasn’t available. Had to stay in a smaller room as nothing else was available. Pool and spa closed, never notified about this until we arrived.

Need to tell people there’s no parking…… also driveway is dangerous to walk near room 9……very easy to fall on those huge bumps. Staff was very nice

The ladies at the front desk were friendly. It was a good price for staying on the island. Enjoyed the pool. You can use bikes from the Inn to ride around.

clean and updated room. A bit noisy between rooms and had to pay for assigned parking spot and mine was taken by someone eelse when I got back to the hotel that night. they could not move the other car, luckily there was another spot but did not even offer me a refund for parking.

The rooms were ok, but the beds were horribly uncomfortable. I didn't expect them to be "heavenly" beds, but when the mattress is sinking in and you can feel the springs, it's time to replace them. The sofa beds were even worse. The only redeeming quality is the location. Centrally located to mostly everything, you don't have to drive anywhere. They also have on-site reserved parking, which was worth the price, considering parking is notoriously limited.

After reading many reviews, we were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Coronado Inn! The staff were all absolutely hospitable and super friendly. The location is perfect with a bus stop right at the motel, or a quick walk down to shopping and dining at the harbor. It is also walkable to Coronado Beach but they have bikes you can use for the day. We had six hours to kill after checking out and before our flight and they still let us use bikes all day and held our luggage. The room was updated fairly recently, had a small fridge and coffee maker. The bed was extremely firm (just how I like it!) and heat worked well. The major things were clean (sink, toilet, shower, bed) but there could be more attention to cleaning to small things like baseboards and the crevices on the bathroom vanity. Overall, a very nice little place and would absolutely recommend if you are looking for a comfortable, affordable place to stay in Coronado.

Very clean and comfortable beds. The swimming pool was a little yellow, but wasn't too bad. Overall nice location and clean, nice room. We found street parking in front and avoided the $10 parking fee.

They didn't have parking available. They don’t allow you to prepay for your parking so they can sell your parking to someone else if they pay for it before you do. Even if the person is not staying at the hotel. Weird policy. They should give there guests first choice to prepay for there spot and if they choose not to, then they can proceed to sell your spot to someone else.

We arrived about an hour before check in and they had a room available without any issues. We were charged $10 to park in their parking lot which was a first. When we got to the room and opened the door we were meet with a pungent smell that we didn't know was mold until the next morning. Upon looking around the room we noticed that every window frame was dirty like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. The coffee maker was full of dust and I don't know if was hair or fibers of some sort. The micro fridge was rusted on one corner and made a funny noise all the time. Now when it came to the bathroom there was mold on the ceiling, walls, shower floor, blinds and window which had no screen and a dead beatles. I know this was a 2 star hotel but I mean come on, you can't have mold growing like that. The bed was 50/50 due to using 2 twin box springs instead of a solid frame and pillows that if you used 1 it wasn't enough and if you used 2 you were sitting up pretty much. If you don't mind the things listed above it's a ok room if it was $100 cheaper a night. Also talking with the people who stayed in the room next to us they had mold problems and trouble with the shower.

Great staff and the room was clean. The only drawback is that it is an older structure with thin walls and the TV did not work for cable along with pairing to external devices was hit or miss.

Nicely appointed Comfy bed No exhaust fan in the bathroom..disapointed but they did supply a can of room dissinfectant spray Room seemed clean and well taken care of Floors were all new laminate, seemed clean until we took a shower and walked around in the room...our feet were black. Wifi & tv reception very sketchy & unreliable Overall a very nice stay

Check-in was promptly at 3pm. Room was nice and quiet, clearly partly redone and modernized, but something needs to be done about the table and chairs which looked like they came out of a dumpster. While the room superficially was clean, a deep cleaning seems to be in order to remove dust from less used surfaces. Location is great, close to the ferry landing and about 25 min walk to the Hotel Del.Supermarket, restaurants and brewery close by.
Check-in was promptly at 3pm. Room was nice and quiet, clearly partly redone and modernized, but something needs to be done about the table and chairs which looked like they came out of a dumpster. While the room superficially was clean, a deep cleaning seems to be in order to remove dust from less used surfaces. Location is great, close to the ferry landing and about 25 min walk to the Hotel Del.Supermarket, restaurants and brewery close by.

Small little inn for a short vacation in Coronado. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted there with two dead cockroaches. Which we checked in early and they said they'd ensure a room was cleaned for us. The roach looked dead for a while. The walls are paper thin. You can even hear the next door neighbor flushing or the across neighbor blow drying their hair at night. Water pressure in shower and toilet flush is very minimal. Paid for nightly parking and had an issue with that. I understand it's not a luxurious hotel but paying $400 in total is pretty absurd. The front desk lady was really nice though.

This hotel is absolutely filthy. We had cockroaches running around the bathroom coming from the walls, our friends who were also staying had ants in their bed. The floors were disgusting, like they had never been washed, our feet were black from walking around the room. The only positive of this place is the location. We were so grossed out we ended up leaving and not even staying the night. Do not waste your money on this place!

I read a lot of different reviews on this hotel from bugs, cockroaches, and dirty but i went ahead and booked it anyways because all the hotels were the same. I took my own cleaning stuff and sticky traps for the bugs. Im happy to report that our room was very clean and we did not have even a slight bug problem. Happy with our stay

There was be heat in the room. Wall unit did not work. This is a law issue. It is considered a “livability issue” and one cannot be charged for it. There were no extra blankets in the room. Went to bed dressed in street clothes to keep warm. No telephone to call the desk for a blanket.’ Floor was filthy and had to wash my feet in the 2’x2’ shower before I put on my shoes. There was a one cup coffee pot but no cups, creamer, sugar substitutes. Shower head so high water hit at my head level. No hand held device. TV reception non-existent , the picture broke into pixels

The room was just what we were looking for! It was spacious for a family of 4. The kitchen helped us save money because it comes with a stove top and microwave. We were able to make breakfast every morning. It was close to restaurants and the beach. We will definitely be back!

We don’t think they were finished renovations in our room. Comfortable bed. No microwave in this room though Standard room w King bed had both m/w & refrigerator listed. Only 4 coat hangers, bath sink cabinets obviously old, broken, insides scary. Lots of overhead recessed lighting but only two bedside lamps. No reading lamp or chair. No Comfortable chair just the 2 small wooden chairs at the table. Only 2 available outlets in bedroom. Bath & shower fixtures nice though shower valve very hard to turn. No hooks to hang clothes in shower area. Water pressure good. These comments are about our room. The property was clean staff pleasant and pool area, gardens well maintained. Room 8 just needs to be finished and thoroughly cleaned.

It’s expensive to stay on Coronado island so we were excited to have this room. It was not quite as nice I thought it would be. The room was outdated but the bathroom was nice enough and we were close enough to walk into town.
It’s expensive to stay on Coronado island so we were excited to have this room. It was not quite as nice I thought it would be. The room was outdated but the bathroom was nice enough and we were close enough to walk into town.

No on at front desk for checkin, had to call then wait 20 minutes for someone to show up. All Parking was sold out but on on ever parked in front of our room that night. We had to park on street a block away. Not safe a lot of drunk people walking around at 10PM in the alleys. No one at front desk for checkout so left keys at door with a homeless guy watching us leave. Water took to long to get hot, smelt like sewer. TV volume would go up and down without touch the remote. If u stay on the street side rooms it is insanely loud with all the motorcycles racing to the Naval Base. It starts at 3am and does not stop until 9am in the morning. Motorcycles are allowed to slip lanes so they are loud and dangerous passing at high speeds. 3 aircraft carriers were in with 1 Destroyer and a supply ship. Had to switch rooms and it was still hard to sleep at night with all the motorcycle noise. Daytime manager was great though and was willing to work with us.

The people at the front desk are awesome and so friendly and helpful. 5 starts to those women. But amenities wise, it was inconvenient that it would consistently take 20-25 minutes for the shower water to get hot. It was also uncomfortable when the cleaning personnel did not come the day they were scheduled. We rescheduled for the next day with a specific window of time in the afternoon. When we left our room for approximately 20 minutes to get coffee early in the morning, we came back to our door open and someone cleaning. We had to awkwardly wait in our car from which we could see into our room, and all of our personal items that we did not have an opportunity to organize/ put away. The room was mostly clean. We also had to request additional blankets because there was only a flat sheet used as a fitted sheet, another flat sheet, and a thin blanket/comforter.

The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. We really did not have time to enjoy the property. We arrived in the evening and needed to check out at dawn for a Naval event. There are several restaurants within walking distance to this hotel and we felt safe walking to dinner.

After reading many reviews, we were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Coronado Inn! The staff were all absolutely hospitable and super friendly. The location is perfect with a bus stop right at the motel, or a quick walk down to shopping and dining at the harbor. It is also walkable to Coronado Beach but they have bikes you can use for the day. We had six hours to kill after checking out and before our flight and they still let us use bikes all day and held our luggage. The room was updated fairly recently, had a small fridge and coffee maker. The bed was extremely firm (just how I like it!) and heat worked well. The major things were clean (sink, toilet, shower, bed) but there could be more attention to cleaning to small things like baseboards and the crevices on the bathroom vanity. Overall, a very nice little place and would absolutely recommend if you are looking for a comfortable, affordable place to stay in Coronado.

This is a great affordable place to stay on Coronado. It was clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. There is limited parking but I was able to find a spot near the hotel pretty easily and I was able to getting a parking pass for the remainder of our stay. The beds are comfortable and everything worked. We spent most of the day in town and at the beach but were always happy to return back to the hotel for some much needed sleep. There is a market and dining on the neighboring blocks as well.

Check-in was promptly at 3pm. Room was nice and quiet, clearly partly redone and modernized, but something needs to be done about the table and chairs which looked like they came out of a dumpster. While the room superficially was clean, a deep cleaning seems to be in order to remove dust from less used surfaces. Location is great, close to the ferry landing and about 25 min walk to the Hotel Del.Supermarket, restaurants and brewery close by.

Room was dirty upon arrival . Mattresses were not memory foam as advertised, no continental breakfast , only coffee no tea . This used to be one of my favorite places to stay but it’s not how it used to be .

The room was just what we were looking for! It was spacious for a family of 4. The kitchen helped us save money because it comes with a stove top and microwave. We were able to make breakfast every morning. It was close to restaurants and the beach. We will definitely be back!

My stay was wonderful, it was very cute and the rooms were very well appointed. The desk was manned by very friendly and helpful staff, always offering suggestions and providing information for the surrounding area and places to eat that are dog-friendly! I loved that they had bicycles you could use and the pool was really a nice alternative since the beaches had advisories.

This is an older property but it has been updated and well maintained. The word I would use to describe it is quaint. If you’re looking for a five star hotel this isn’t for you. But if you’re looking for functional, clean and an amazing location try them out. Within walking distance of many things and the naval base.
