CRAZY experience with no hot water FREEZING SHOWERS, broken fridge cold hot tub. The manager was turning off my side of the building’s hot water heater (to save money??). He also turned off the hot tub so it had to be turned on every time I wanted to use it. They would not replace my fridge with one in another room, I lost all my food. The manager is incredibly lazy, he’s not even embarrassed by his treatment of guests and actually argued with me about needing hot water for showers!!!, etc. I will be calling the owners as well as the county as it is actually a breach of the commercial hospitality accommodations code to not provide hot water. They will be fined and could be shut down. Book here at YOUR OWN RISK.

They have a very nice pool and jacuzzi. Everything was really clean. Its quiet and peaceful, but near to restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend 👌

They said there was continental breakfast but there wasn't.The pool light was floating in the pool. You were supposed to leave your door open if you wanted to get your room cleaned. No one mentioned that.

Room was clean. Staff was courteous and responsive. Note: At 10:30 AM the Jacuzzi was barely warm, and my keycard became unopperative at 10:55, even though I'd been granted a 12 noon late checkout time. That causes some inconvenience by having to go to the office to get it reactivated. Overall though, it's a nice place. .

This is a hidden gem. The landscaping as well as the pool and jacuzzi is pristine. There is an area by the pool for bbqing and family or friends. Its quiet and a great location close to the heart of Fallbrook. There is a restaurant in front of the hotel and a bar across the street. You can easily walk to the liquor/covenience store across the street. I love it there and will be back. Its very reasonable rates and convenient location plus walkabilty makes it a 5 star for me.

Pleasant stay as always. Not fancy, but doesnt need to be (awesoms value) I didnt even realize this place has a nice pool & spa area last time we stayed..both were very clean & usable & the spa works too

Parking right in front of my hotel door ! Beautiful courtyard with patio table and chairs and a beautiful pool right outside the sliding glass doors in my room. Air conditioning worked great, bed was comfy, lots of hot water, in general I had a very nice stay at this hotel and I would definitely go back again. This is my third third year in a row. I’ve stayed there on vacation.

Fallbrook lodging has gone steeply downhill lately. This place, Country Inn, is still pretty good. It is old, a little bit noisy but not bad, and parking can be a hassle (but it is free at least). It's a good motel and I will happily return. Desk clerk was nice. Clean and pretty well kept.

I have stayed here about 20x or more and i absoulety love it. Quiet. Beautiful relaxing pool area with jacuzzi. Has all the neccessities and more.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I usually leave wonderful reviews...but if this can save another family from experiencing it then that is good. This motel was absolutely disgusting. I honestly don’t know if they even cleaned the room before we got there. We had to shower with our shoes on because the shower/tub was black and disturbing to look at. We removed all the blankets and slept in sleeping bags because the bed was so uncomfortable—it was indented from where people had slept before. There was hair on the bed, and even worse, we found a cockroach carcass in the bed. The floor was so filthy that just walking from the bathroom to the bed once left my feet completely black. The previous guests even left a beer in the freezer—proof that housekeeping doesn’t bother to check anything. The calcium buildup in the bathroom was terrible. I honestly felt like we needed a hepatitis shot after staying here. We didn’t complain because we had no extra cash to stay somewhere else, but for one night, this cost us $187! The only positive thing I can say is that the water was hot, and the water pressure was decent. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I will be reporting this place to the health department because I don’t see how they’re still operating.

Room was disgusting. Cracks in the shower. Toilet paper holder broken. Paint (blood?) drops on the floor. Floor is filthy in general. Beds are uncomfortable, they make noise anytime someone rolls over. Overall if I could give it a negative rating I would. Don't waste your time or money.

The rooms and bathroom are very clean. The courtyard is gorgeous beautiful area to come outside and sit in the morning and relax. The pool in the hot tub were clean. The only thing we would say that we didn’t like or the pillows were a little hard.

As a Fallbrook local, Ive stayed at one time or another all the hotels/motels our town has here. And if you ask anyone else from around here who has actually had experience with each one, they'll tell you that "The Country Inn" is without a doubt the lowest rated and consistently disgusting establishment they have ever been in. Ive stayed here on two separate occasions and I can assure you that you dont need that many visits to determine this is not a place anyone should ever stay. None of the rooms at this establishment should be able to pass basic health and sanitary codes, but none are more indicative of this than their "standard" rooms at the back of the property. Most rooms dont have working locks, you'll be lucky if half the necessary bulbs are present or work, the shower/tubs & toilets all have black mold and usually hair, even before you find out there is no hot water. There are stains, smears & smudges on all the fixtures, walls, and floors. There is typically several holes in the walls that have just been crudely spackeled over but never painted or finished. There has never been a time I havent seen roaches in the rooms, and you can hear mice rustling in the walls behind the headboard. Pull off the covers to expose torn, tattered, and stained mattresses at least 30-40 years old, that have given me bed bug bites both times. Ive found old beer cans and even a meth pipe in the couch cushions, along with pet urine stains and hair on the armrests. DO NOT STAY!!

First impression…I should have walked right out as soon as I entered the lobby. The carpet was disgustingly filthy. The furniture in lobby was old, tattered and thrown together. No style or design. Not impressive or welcoming at all. Now here is the list for the room: 🤢 - [ ] Front step of motel room needs to be power washed. Dirty. - [ ] Room was extremely hot and muggy when we entered. - [ ] Fan in room had a layer of dust. - [ ] Screen door had holes and glass sliding door was filthy…couldn’t even see outside! - [ ] MOLD ☠️ around bathroom tub! - [ ] Tub itself was filthy too…dark stains. Walls of tub enclosure looked like old dried greenish color shampoo-like substance running down. - [ ] Only 1 of 4 light bulbs worked in bathroom. - [ ] Wall hair dryer in room did not work…and room was supposed to be a deluxe room??!! - [ ] Corners of all walls had dirt built up…needs a good deep cleaning with a powerful steamer. - [ ] Roach in bathroom. - [ ] Walls in entire room need to be thoroughly cleaned and painted. - [ ] Floors need a good sanitary cleaning. - [ ] Furniture was scuffed and stained. - [ ] Bed sheets looked like they had dust particles. - [ ] Lamp had layer of dust around power source. - [ ] Curtains were haphazardly hanging on curtain rod…tacky. - [ ] Room refrigerator “freezer” area did not work…did not freeze my ice packs! - [ ] Motel would not give me a refund for the difference as the room rate for the 2nd nite came down $40+.

On our first night we found several small roaches in the room. We also tired to watch tv but it wouldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi even with the correct password that was given to us. The wall outlets were visibility not well maintained, there were several outlets that were loose and we debated whether or not is was safe to plug something in.The second night even more cockroaches were visible and this time larger than the previous night. Not only were they in the restroom but they were crawling all over the room, did not make us feel comfortable taking anything back home.

Not only is it filthy, there was hair on the bed pillows, and the sheets had not been Changed. The sliding door to the central pool area could not be locked, and this is the “delux” unit. The coffee maker had not been cleaned and the room stank from whatever was last in it

The room was so outdated, tub was super stained that we had to wear sandals to shower. The mattress was old with those 80’s springs and squeaky. The ceiling fan was full of dust, the white bath towels were stained. Only thing new was the flooring. The walls were patched up white everywhere in the room and not painted over to match the wal paint. $155 for one night that I couldn’t even sleep was the worst hotel stay ever.

This place has so much potential with location, pool etc. However, rooms need to be remodeled/updated, new paint, furniture, bed coverings, curtains etc. Could be much better and/or a cool boutique motel if someone invested a little $$ and TLC.

The room was so cute! It had a mini kitchen and a sofa. It felt more like a studio apartment than a hotel room. The only issue was the box springs were super noisy but on the whole i would choose to stay there again!

This was a nice room. It had an oversized closet, a kitchenette area, a couch and a comfy high back chair. The bed was high and comfortable. The bathroom was standard. I hope the remove the tubs, when you're both big and tall tubs suck. I wish the TV was a little larger. The bright colors were nice.

Overall it was ok but our TV had a werd thing foing on and it was fizzy with kines noving on the screen. We spoke to the lady who stated it was spectrum however we spoke ti the neighbor room who wasnt having the problem. Nobody came to fix the TV at all. I had two children with me so not having a tv caused for a rough two nights. The beds squeezed when you laid on them. However we did them replacing mattresses during our stay so thats a good thing. Other than that I didn't have a problem and everyone was nice. I have another reservation coming up and I hope they will have the TV issue fixed because I'll have three of my kids those days.

The bed was way too squeaky it sounded like it was falling apart. We didn’t have a tub and were put into a handicap room for whatever reason. Loud ac/heater. Overpriced in my opinion. Has a motel feel/value.

Booked a king room and was given a double queen. The beds had miscellaneous plastic bits all over them. A plug for a camera was found near the bed. The bathroom had a sticky brown film all over the sink as well as the toilet. Stayed in the room for 10 minutes before leaving and checking into another hotel down the street.

Worst experience in a hotel ever, do yourself a favor and DO NOT BOOK here. 30 minutes to check in (prepaid reservation). Another guest occupied my parking spot to which the staff did nothing. I booked several nights, arrived late night after work one night only to find out my key didn’t work and there was no one from the hotel around to fix it, meanwhile I’m waiting under the rain. Despite all that, I decided to extend my reservation one extra night, the response I get from the hotel was to leave at 11am and come back at 3pm to check in again. Absolutely ridiculous.

I really enjoyed this place. It is located in Fallbrook where there are places to eat and shop. The room is huge with a patio area outside to enjoy. There is a jacuzzi and pool to use. However, only the jacuzzi available now. The owners are the nicest people you can meet. The place was clean and nocely kept. You have a fridge, a microwave, and queen size beds that are comfortable to sleep on. I really enjoyed this place and will stay again. Thanks for a nice place to stay.

This is a hidden gem. The landscaping as well as the pool and jacuzzi is pristine. There is an area by the pool for bbqing and family or friends. Its quiet and a great location close to the heart of Fallbrook. There is a restaurant in front of the hotel and a bar across the street. You can easily walk to the liquor/covenience store across the street. I love it there and will be back. Its very reasonable rates and convenient location plus walkabilty makes it a 5 star for me.

Had a great cottage feel and atmosphere. The Italian restaurant on the same property was very good. I arrived in the evening and discovered the latch to the patio door to my room was broken. The manager came immediately and provided a stick to place in the door slide: problem solved and appreciated. Issues not addressed because I only had time for dinner and six hours of sleep were missing lightbulbs and a bathroom sink that was totally plugged up. Housekeeping should observe and address these issues. Oh well. I would like to stay here again. It was quaint.

No frills. A bit older. Could have been cleaner especially the bathroom. Grass area and tables by the pool area were nice. Pool was high 70s and jacuzzi was low 100s. Both felt good. Nonrefundable, definitely trying to trap guests that can’t see it first.
