The hotel stay was generally fine. The room was nice, quiet and spacious. The beds were as expected and comfortable. We used the laundry and found that it cost $6 for a load to wash and dry plus $1 for detergent. The washers and dryers were small and older, so very few options. The pool was small and the water was very warm. (it was >104F outside) There was a homeless encampment next to the property, which provided some concerns about our vehicle safety, but we had no issues.

This was a great place to stop on our road trip. Our room was great so spacious with two bedrooms and bathrooms and a Kitchenette. The pool and grilling area was great and the gum was nice too. The staff at the front desk was super helpful and friendly.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Beds were cozy and room temperature reached my ideal sleeping climate. Cold! Water pressure was hot and perfect after a long day hiking at Yosemite. Breakfast in the morning was helpful to get each day started. (7am-10am/mondays 6am) Coffee, eggs, cereal, pancakes and breakfast taco bar. Area was well stocked every morning throughout the bfast hours. Staff was very friendly and the grounds were well maintained. Security checked cars nightly in lots to make sure they were supposed to be there. Pool and half basketball court on property.

The refullable soaps and shampoo smelled funny and or tampered with. Nice room, great pool, but very disappointed that hot tub was out of order despite calling ahead and double checking. Also late check in 3pm earlier is available for a fee- unless you book directly through their website.

Really nice room, loved the open concept atmosphere...main issue, it was not the cleanest. There was hair under the covers, hair/pubes on the bathroom floor, looked like boogers on the wall. Breakfast was really good, nice variety. Would stay again.

There were couple of red stains on the carpet, presumably blood stains. The rooms were very dated, only the bathrooms were renovated, but the bathroom walls were very dirty. Not a good experience. AC was making a strange noise. I don't understand how this place got a 9.0 rating. It should be 7 at most.

There were roaches in the restroom and kitchen. The reason for booking a suite was to have a kitchen and I didn’t use it because of roach infestation. I wasn’t comfortable with food in the fridge because there was a dead roach in there as well. Will not be staying there again!

Quick overnight stay before an early morning flight. Comfortable, clean, friendly staff, convenient breakfast in the morning, the only slightly annoying thing was the ice maker in the fridge that kept going after it was filled (got up in the middle of the night to turn it off)

The only issue I have is the noise coming from outside or adjacent room . I can hear their conversation loud . You cannot able to relax because of the sound from outside .All othet aspects am okay with it .Still recommend this property when in Fresno.

Great location. Close to the mall and Woodward Park where we had an event. Clean and safe. The free breakfast was very nice and had a great selection. The only issue was the 6 am flights coming in for landing. The hotel sits directly in the landing path.

Room layout was comfortable. Check-in receptionist was nice and professional. Check-out receptionist (black lady) was unprofessional and unqualified to be the face of Sonesta. We were given complimentary late check-out of 12. But the black lady said she didn’t see notes and will be charging us unless we "vacated" the premises immediately. She spoke accusingly to my husband as if we were trying to scam for an extra hour. We expected better of a decent hotel chain like Sonesta. Please do better to hire more qualified, honorable and

We checked into the motel, was given our keys to our upgraded 2 bedroom suite and found the door to the suite super dirty. Since we were there for my daughter’s company, she had a meeting soon after our check-in. I went along to watch my grand baby. When I opened the door I found slippers on the floor and a big backpack on the table. They gave us keys to a room already in use! I was not happy about the $400 incidental deposit that was marked as a misc charge. I asked the manger to sign, date and note it’s an incidental deposit. We went back to the office and said we didn’t feel safe and I wanted a refund on all the charges. I got the refund for the incidentals, and had a credit for the room fees, but got recharged and had to call the motel back asking for my full refund since we didn’t stay and the issues we had.

Was told upon check in that “internet is broken, they are working on it” One bedroom suite: -basic TV was not working -Not enough blankets pillows for pull out sofa -staff “misplaced” a bag that had been left in room- we had rushed back asap at checkout to retrieve it but it was not where I left it in the kitchen, front desk made no real attempt to help find it, maid sent me to front desk, received a phone call after 7pm that it had been “found”, we had already driven the 4.5 hours home requested the item be mailed to us.

The hotel is nice and the suites are large and very comfortable . Breakfast was good. But I am writing this review for one reason ….Derek. The guy at the front desk who checked me in . He is the epitome of what someone running the front desk should be like . Moved my room to accommodate me , put up with a weary traveler , laughed at my bad jokes ….all with a smile . He represents them well.

It is my Fresno stop. I have a couple of rooms that I like due to parking, ease of entry plus security. Breakfast and coffee always hot with variety of choices. Front desk staff welcoming and friendly.

Homeless camping at the gate and gate was cut open on both opposite ends. Theres no camera on the permises and you are parking at your own risk. Our truck window and camp window was busted. $1000/ repair bill. Our trailer lovks were also saw right off another $500 repair. Will never be going back, very unsafe and as a victim there's no support. The police effort in the area is horrible. no one showed up. received a call from the police to file report 2 days later, useless

The area was convenient with grocery stores nearby and easy access to main roads, but the gr strs around it had a lot of homeless and seemed pretty run down.

The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast/area is also a big plus. The hotel is in a quiet/residential cul de sac, which is a bit remote from other dining options, etc. If you want to be able to go out the lobby door and walk to restaurants, etc. this is not the place for you.

No cameras - new management actually took them down. The cop also said all hotels in Fresno get hit pretty frequently, so recommend staying somewhere a little safer if you have the option. If not, the best western in the old downtown of Clovis looks like a much safer area. But please, take inside all valuables from your car!

Great location. Close to the mall and Woodward Park where we had an event. Clean and safe. The free breakfast was very nice and had a great selection. The only issue was the 6 am flights coming in for landing. The hotel sits directly in the landing path.

We always enjoy staying at Sonesta Suites when in the area. They offer clean, updated, fully stocked and spacious multi-bedroom options in a great location. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Very nice, clean rooms, helpful staff and a breakfast with very nice variety made this one of the better hotel stays we've had in recent memory. Good location, considering it's Fresno. :)

Really awesome place to stay! The whole place was kept up really well, the gentleman at check in was so wonderful, kitchenette was perfect, towels soft and bed comfy! They have a really great hotel breakfast complete with eggs, protein, potatoes, a breakfast taco bar, pancake maker, lots of bread and pastry choices, fresh fruit. Don’t forget to tip the kitchen staff in their jar by the toaster!

Everything was fine. Room was clean and comfortable. As a tea drinker I am saddened by bad tea for breakfast. Though I must say, the breakfast tacos were a good change up. The provided body watch was the nastiest smelling stuff ever. Smelled like bad vape.

We stayed one night while exploring the national parks nearby. We chose this hotel for the location and price that included free parking and breakfast. Overall, it was a good value for the price. The building was a bit older but the room was decent overall with good air conditioning. They did supply toiletries but our body wash smelled like sewage. Breakfast was decent but they do limit you one plate. Housekeeping staff was also knocking on our door at 9 am which would have been annoying if we weren't already leaving at that time

Check-In was very smooth. Once I figured out to walk past the video screen with someone checking people in from a video monitor and go see the person at the front desk. I'm sure the video monitor check-in person was also great, but I really freaked out a little bit with that level of tech. I still like real humans as customer service people. The room was better than we expected with a nice kitchen and living area. Coffee was provided and the breakfast buffet was really good too. We liked being off of The highway and also Blackstone Avenue. Our stay was very quiet and pleasant and just right for a night before driving to Yosemite National Park

The beds: 10/10 (probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds. I’ve ever slept on - and I normally book pretty bougie hotels haha ). Room layout/size/cleanliness of the room itself/ room amenities/ bathroom size — 10/10 . The hallways 2/10 - smelly, dirty and worn out carpet, hotel doors and wall areas need to be cleaned/painted . Overall - I would recommend & return myself. I stayed multiple nights due to my AC going out. Can’t say enough about the beds lol

Nice clean and well maintained facility, we got a suite and it was fantastic. very convenient for long stay, the suits has everything. little bit of noise at night, some loud music from the adjacent unit, but I didn't want to complain about it since we were there for just one night. Yes, we will definitely choose Sonesta Hotels again.
