Hot tub out of service and that was a major reason I booked there. They said broken water heater, but the tub looked awfully dirty. Other than that for an almost 100 year old hotel the rooms are modern and "solid".

Not impressed no view from the back. Hot tub was broken! No elevator had to lug our luggage up a horrible high stair case! Left a day early for better accommodations! Other than that the room was very nice and clean. The main lobby was dark and dreary! Wouldn’t recommend!

Great room and kitchen. The jacuzzi was closed tho, such a huge turn off. We had decided this property to enjoy the jacuzzi mainly but unfortunately it wasn't working at all.

Came through for a night on a road trip with my parents. Room was very clean and well stocked. Plenty of space and pull out sofa bed was easy to set up. We really liked the inn and being located right in the middle of town. Lots of cool history at this place too! Unfortunately, the hot tub was broken and we had really been looking forward to using it so we were bummed about that, but we would stay here again.

The facility was great. The sauna was clean and easy to use. The room was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Amazing view of the town.

I liked how there were silverware, plates, and cups to use inside the rooms and definitely enjoyed the room with the ping pong table and pool table.

Great place to stay at June Lake! Mountain lodge lake feel! Fireplace is exquisite! Must see. Individual rooms like a mini apartment. Would come again definitely.

It was a good finding. The hotel is a gem. Old but well maintained. The outdoor hottub was good for a summer night.

Love our staying~ the bed is comfortable, and the room and bathroom and kitchenette are very clean. It is a bit old but that is the character. The location is excellent. Too bad the weather was a bit warm and there was only one fan in the unit so we had to leave the windows opened throughout the day. But overall the staying is very nice. We would come back.

Quiet and rustic. Room was clean and quiet. Plenty of parking. My only complaint was the bed was as hard as a rock.

The condo was very clean and comfortable. Well stocked and facility was safe and quiet. Nice, friendly staff. Hot tub available. Walkable to downtown area for food and drinks. Would recommend and will return when in the area.

We stayed one night and it was perfectly fine. Room was clean and spacious.

Very nice clean hotel. Easy check in and out. The room is very spacious for two or three people, with all the small appliances you need for cooking simple meals. Will definitely go back again.

The hotel is pretty great and well maintained. We paid for the lowest price room which did not have a view. It was a nonsmoking room but somehow it smelled very cigarettey. There was no A/C in our room so we needed to put a fan in the window to dry rid of the stale smell.

Lamp and stove didn’t work. Towels were stained. No toilet paper supply. Overall the furniture was old and tired. Hot tub was tiny. Popcorn ceiling was dingy.

My family and I visited while on a 4 day vacation to tour Yosemite. The rooms weren’t very clean, lots of dust on the lamps and end tables, the bedroom had sticky cup rings on the end tables and dresser. Carpet was filthy. Very old feeling which needed updating. No AC, which was a bummer. Especially on very warm days. I don’t think we will return.

This property is in a great location and can easily walk to anywhere in town. Not the most updated place to stay but very clean. The 1 bedroom was huge. Had a nice pullout sofa bed in the living room and the kitchenette was clean and had a good amount of necessities. There were extra blankets and pillows in the closet if using the sofa bed. Overall enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again in the future.

The property was in good location, however, it is rather old and not well-built (we could hear the bathroom usage of other guests). For the price they charge I was expecting more updated room/property.

The lobby / great room was a bit of a shock. It had dark red / burgundy walls and dark rustic wood everywhere. It also had a huge fireplace in the middle. This was not our style and it seemed kind of creepy. It was also quite dark inside the lobby. Our room was upstairs with no elevator. The room had a separate bedroom and a kitchenette, which was nice. The bathroom had been recently renovated- and it was very nice, while the rest of the room was more 1950’s cottage. There was no AC and it was a quite warm day when we were there. It did cool off overnight- but we wished we had AC. The June Lake area was very nice.

We liked the spaciousness of our accommodation including a kitchen. There was a deck with a jacuzzi with a view of the sunset and the mountains. There were a lot of employees working to keep the inn clean. The historic lobby was fun.

Quiet and rustic. Room was clean and quiet. Plenty of parking. My only complaint was the bed was as hard as a rock.

Highly recommend! June Lake is way less crowded than Mammoth Lakes and offers endless hiking options with amazing views. This hotel was the only one with two-bedroom suites in the area and it's just perfect for families. The decoration is a little outdated, but the rooms are very comfortable, clean, quiet, and with beautiful views (we got a corner suite.)

Loud and periodic water flow noise all night long & terrible sofa bed made the worst night of sleep in our memory.

Quaint and peaceful great service from the friendly staff

We enjoyed our stay at The Heidelberg Inn and would not hesitate to stay there again if we are ever in the area again. Joel was very helpful and gave us excellent directions to several points of interest we planned to visit while in the June Lake area.

I travel with a service animal and the front desk lady told me that my service animal could not walk on the floor in the lobby other than to go directly to my room. I will not be staying here again. Ended up checking out early.

Cozy place to stay near the lake. Friendly and welcoming front staff.

My husband and I have had an amazing time and stay here has been a huge part of that. We decided we wanted to stay an extra night and they worked with us to be able to keep us in the room. They went above and beyond what was expected

The hotel was involved in a planned power outage. The staff was uncommunicative, disrespectful upon check-in, "Haven't you ever slept in the dark?" They didn't communicate delays. We were unable to access our room in the dark, no hot water for showers, no sauna or hot tub. Would not recommend the hotel due to their lack of empathy and general disrespect for paying guests.

We loved this historic hotel and the service was very helpful and friendly!! We would stay again and recommend to others!!

Rude man was hosting. 10 am check out. No slack. Lobby is nice, rooms soso.

Everything was great with this property. I checked in a day early but they only had a two bedroom available. When I got my room the next day Dave took care of all my stuff and moved it to the second floor no elevator just stairs with complete hospitality When I checked in Joel was really helpful with fishing info and made the stay very welcoming. Thanks again guys see you next time

Charming, cozy and beautiful historic inn located smack in the middle of town with the most incredible views right from our kitchen & bedroom! We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the suite, and the entire wall of windows looking out over town and snow capped mountains of the Sierras. On our last night we sat on the couch looking at stars above the snowy mountains from the comfort of our warm living room. It was magical. The place was clean and while we knew it was historic so it may have some older furniture, we were happy to find the bathroom was completely new and redone (I took 2 baths in the larger than normal tub during our stay). The lobby is cozy with a giant fire place, tons of seating, chess and a community feel as guests would gather to sip wine and chat with their families around the fire. June Lake Ski Resort was an easy 1 mile drive away with free parking. After ski, we enjoyed apres at June Lake Brewery (do not miss this awesome local brewery). We had June Pie Pizza and stopped by the Lift each morning for coffee. Don’t miss a healthy breakfast or lunch at Epic Cafe, a delicious little walk-in spot owned by a local couple. The hotel also provided coffee, hot chocolate and tea in both the lobby and in the rooms. The kitchen has everything you could need and more - even a blender for my morning protein smoothie and an ice bucket for champagne. This is our new favorite place - so glad we opted out of the craziness of Mammoth for here instead!

My wife and I are seniors. Stayed to do some skiing. We found the Heidelberg to be charming, the rooms were good size and well appointed. Very clean and quiet. Great location, convenient to skiing, shopping and dining although there were few dining choices available. We would definitely stay there again.

This is an older historical hotel that has been remodeled into suites. We were offered root beer floats in the evening, sat around the unusual four sided fireplace and visited with other guests. We enjoyed looking at all the pictures of movie stars that had stayed there in the past.

Went with family and stay a night in late April. All shops/restaurants were closed. Checked in/out was quick and easy. Nice and friendly staff. There was cold lemon water in the lobby and hot coffee in the morning. Room/bathroom/towels were clean. There’s a fireplace in the lobby which is really nice and cozy. Would stay again.

Beautiful property with lots of eating options nearby. Very good for families.

The property had a lot of charm! It was warm and cozy had a great hot tub, and stocked kitchenette. We did get down graded last minute to a 1 bedroom but they did comp us a night for the inconvenience. The beds weren't that comfy but totally worth the price. There were great little restaurants and a souvenir shop near by. Snowboarding/skiing was a mile away.

I came here with my teen aged kids, 19 and 15. What a relief when we walked into the lobby and we all shared the same sentiment (this place is magical). Then we got to our room, and the kids said "good job mom". There was complimentary root beer floats in the lobby, something different each evening. Everything is walkable. I am really doing this review with apprehension as i want to keep this place a secret and to myself. It is warm, friendly, welcoming, helpful, kind and just all around extremely hospitable (rules - for the environment). I travel 100,000 miles a year so I understand hotels. I can spot a lonesome hair in the room, not here, this place is spotless and has every amenity you need. Extra pillows and blankets are standard, and kitchenette. Even a gameroom! Watch out for the bears!!
