I loved and enjoyed my stay at this wonderful resort! The amenities are fantastic. I highly recommend going to the spa to enjoy the sauna and hot tub. The sound healing class was lovely and set the tone for a beautiful day. The rooms are comfortable and the balcony offers a stunning view of Lake Arrowhead. The pool and access to a private mini beach on the property is great for relaxation. The exterior of the resort does need a bit of a freshen up like painting the resort; it slightly looks rundown from the outside. Regardless, I am planning on coming back for another amazing stay! I highly recommend staying at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa!

Long list of issues here. Firstly, you are greeted with a grotesquely unkempt male staff with broken up nail polish, (yes MALE staff with nail polish) pants 3 sizes too big hanging off his rear end. At 6:30 am on Sunday morning the metal patio furniture is dragged across the pool concrete to wake up all LAKEFRONT guests who paid extra for a quiet room. Common sense to respect noise curfew, not this hotel. One of the 2 ev chargers was down, while the only working unit had a charged car parked for over 24hrs and hotel staff has no clue even if the car is a hotel guest or not. Paid $400 per night to get a room in desperate need of an overhaul since 10 years ago; all electric plugs too loose to hold chargers, shaving mirror not working … list goes on and on. WILL NEVER EVER STAY HERE.

The property has all the amenities my family are looking for namely the lake access, swimming pool, movie shows, bonfire, and family recreational area. The front desk personnel were very helpful in finding the best area to hike, shop, and explore.

Lia at the front desk saved the trip honestly. A lot of the trails by Big Bear Lake are closed until early September, but Lia provided a list of trails, guides, restaurant recommendations. We ended up doing the kayaking excursion with (I think Caitlyn was her name) and hiked 2 of the trails recommended. The pool was a good temp, the kayaking was fun and informative. Nice shower. The upgrade to the balcony with the view of the lake is worth it. Yummy restaurant at this hotel too! We also walked over to the village, it’s like a 5 min walk. Happy birthday trip!

It is a beautiful place to stay and experience, but the building is in need of maintenance and repairs. Very poorly maintained for under a Mariot name! The outside spas were not working properly. One was shut down and the other was just hot water and no jets working. They said there we have access to the roman spas inside and they needed repair as well. Tiles were missing from both the mens and womens spa. The carpet throughout the hotel was wrinkled and looked old and the paint outside is chipping & pealing or missing. Our streaming service from our phones to the TV wouldn't work on the TV. The staff was pleasant, courteous and attentive to our needs. We were married there 4 years ago and went back for anniversary and we feel it has gotten much worse over those 4 years. They need to put some money into the hotel to make pristine like it was meant to be.

Hotel is in a great location and overall should be a great property once renovated which is anticipated in 2026 (according to hotel staff). The problem is that until then the hotel rooms will be very unclean and unsatisfactory. Our room was dirty, disgusting, had holes in the wall, tears in the curtains and the bathroom had bugs in it. The hotel was not only old, but it was not sanitary. Literally one of the worst hotel rooms we’ve ever stayed in. Hopefully they get their act together once hotel is renovated.

The property is very dated, decor could use a lot of attention. The drapery in rooms were tattered, door to bathroom didn't close completely, furniture is old And carpets were stained. Housekeeping is below average. We came back on one day to one of the two beds being made, the trash bag left in the middle of the floor, not vaccuumed and coffee and towels not replenished. Tey dont seem to vaccuum or regularly clean the halls or common areas much either. Someone somehow took off a chunk of the wall on a corner of the wall leading to the elavators on the 3rd floor and it was never vaccuumed or repaired for the 4 days we were there. Private beach is nice but quite small. Pool area and pool were clean. Probably will not return. Overall, disappointing especially for the price.

Check in was easy and smooth - room was mostly clean, there was some residue on the tv stand. We ate at Bin 189 and it wasn't anything special - would recommend finding somewhere else to eat. The view from the hotel was nice on the third floor - if you can, make sure to get the specific 'Lakeside View' rooms. There were no noise issues we could hear outside our room so we could sleep just fine. Would stay again.

Despite our room being vacated already by 11 AM by the previous guests, it wasn’t cleaned or ready for us until after 3:15 PM. This long delay was just the beginning of a series of disappointing experiences during our stay. The spa was in very poor condition. It was visibly dirty, and we witnessed a staff member cleaning the floors using the same towels provided for guests to dry off after showering. She then closed the sauna, telling us it hadn’t been cleaned in two weeks. After applying Clorox, we had to wait 45 minutes for it to dry before we could use it — unacceptable in any facility claiming to offer wellness services. The spa carpet was covered in small debris and garbage, with particles stuck in the fibers, and there were no slippers provided — an unhygienic and uncomfortable oversight. The hotel rooms were also outdated, with no bathroom ventilation. While our room was finally being cleaned, the staff member had a loud speakerphone conversation with other employees, making it impossible to rest. Noise isolation in the building was poor — we could hear other guests’ conversations and footsteps from the rooms above. Overall, the hotel did not feel clean, and the service left a lot to be desired. Even the restaurant was extremely slow, taking 30–40 minutes to serve food for just three people. We would not return to this hotel and unfortunately cannot recommend it to others looking for a clean, quiet, and well-managed place to stay.

the resort is very nice however we had to call feont desk for a few issue's of things not working in the room also one of the hot tubs wasnt working and dinner reservations were impossible to get. bed was very uncomfortable as soon as i got home i needed a hesting pad for my back. the view in our room was gorgeous and the hotel is clean the staff eas very friendly and helpful but lacks on stuff that should be updated. no keurig and no microwave in the room also tv is small and we couldnt get any clear signal.

Location is great. Walking distance to the village, the Lake, and lake arrowhead brewing. The biggest complain is, the pillows. Unfortunately, the pillows were not comfortable at all and my sleep was terrible. My advice is, bring your own pillow

Our room was spacious but the decor was a bit dated. I was disappointed that there was no microwave in the room, although a microwave was available in the ice machine area. I found the bed and pillows to be very uncomfortable, but that’s just personal preference. The pool area was fantastic with views of the lake.

At first blush, the exterior pool area and lobby are gorgeous. Everything clean the hallway is leading to the rooms are immaculate. The rooms at least a standard double queen left much to be desired. Most of the furniture in our room was old and one of the tables was gouged And scraped up so badly. It looked like garage sale furniture. The most telling thing was the curtains which literally are rotting on the rod big chunks of fabric, where the curtains separate came off in my hands even my daughter who vacation with the family there last year says it was the same last year, so this has been an ongoing situation. I have a four day stay we only asked for room to be cleaned. One day trash cans were empty towels were refreshed although we pulled the beds up in the morning. They were not professionally remade during the cleaning. Toothpaste still remained in the sink, and there was evidence of the toilet had not been cleaned either. It looked like it was an empty trash and put down towels and take away dirty towels effort only it should be noted that except for one restaurant there is no other eating options on the premises unless you want a hamburger from around the pool during the day, you must go down the hill to thevery touristy pizza bar, and Grill McDonald’s Jersey Mike’s sandwich shops called the village of which a huge portion of the center is under construction. It reminded me of being at the midway on a fair day in all honesty. I probably would not go back

It was loud at all times in the room. Whether other guests outside the window and or door; the vibration and noise coming from the other side of the wall made it very hard to relax in the room or even hear yourself think. The closet being in the bathroom was very inconvenient. And the bathroom door is not considered a door to me, it doesn't fully close 1/2 inch gaps on all sides so everyone in the room can hear and smell everything, maybe it was made this way due to no fan. The village was beautiful to walk around making the location of this hotel very convenient.

Absolutely adored this place! We had a king balcony room that overlooked the lake! So peaceful and serene. Tim was the absolute best at the bar! We sat and talked to him for hours! Love that they offer beach access. We will absolutely be back!

It is a beautiful place to stay and experience, but the building is in need of maintenance and repairs. Very poorly maintained for under a Mariot name! The outside spas were not working properly. One was shut down and the other was just hot water and no jets working. They said there we have access to the roman spas inside and they needed repair as well. Tiles were missing from both the mens and womens spa. The carpet throughout the hotel was wrinkled and looked old and the paint outside is chipping & pealing or missing. Our streaming service from our phones to the TV wouldn't work on the TV. The staff was pleasant, courteous and attentive to our needs. We were married there 4 years ago and went back for anniversary and we feel it has gotten much worse over those 4 years. They need to put some money into the hotel to make pristine like it was meant to be.

The lobby was hot. The room took a long time to cool down. I felt like I was pushed aside because I used a 3rd party to book the room. I was told at 3:45 pm that my room was not ready when check in was at 4 pm. The room was ready at 5:30 pm.

Reserved room with partial lake view and there was no lake view. Tried to pay for room upgrade and front desk said no corner suites available even tho their website said there was availability. Same front desk associate charged our card even after I explained i did not authorize a charge. This front desk associate doesn’t deserve to be in hospitality. Future customers- dont book rooms if you are hoping for a view. Also, double check menu and see if restaurant has items you want before you are seated. They ran out of items we wanted to order for every meal. Restaurant Servers were great, housekeeping was great. Steak was great. Check in was great. Spa desk staff were absolutely terrible. Most front desk were nice except the one who checked us out & told us we couldn’t pay for a different room. Recommend restaurant replace swai with cod. Rooms need to be upgraded. Expecting hotel to contact me to remove unauthorized charges.

Lia at the front desk saved the trip honestly. A lot of the trails by Big Bear Lake are closed until early September, but Lia provided a list of trails, guides, restaurant recommendations. We ended up doing the kayaking excursion with (I think Caitlyn was her name) and hiked 2 of the trails recommended. The pool was a good temp, the kayaking was fun and informative. Nice shower. The upgrade to the balcony with the view of the lake is worth it. Yummy restaurant at this hotel too! We also walked over to the village, it’s like a 5 min walk. Happy birthday trip!

The location couldn’t have been better! The staff was very helpful!!! Friendly services and kind and caring assists to the guest (us)! The pool and jacuzzi was nice. The restaurant at the hotel was a little short staffed. The meal prices were high. We had a room with balcony on the third floor with lake view. It was a very relaxing place to spend our two nights/three days. Overall we loved staying here!

Being a former resident of Lake Arrowhead, I have seen the resort change ownership several times over the years, and currently the resort is kind of weathered and tired. There are many viable reasons for this, a devastating snow fall the past year, and covid prior to that, makes it acceptable in my opinion. The issue I had was, the hotel did not have my room available at check in (5:00pm) They told me they would call me and let me know when the room was ready. They never called so we returned to the hotel at 9:30pm and they had no notes in their system to call me, and treated me like I was making it up. They then said sorry, gave me a drink coupon, and sent me to my room. In summary, poor customer service and lack of care for what they put us through, will keep me from ever staying there again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything worked and was comfortable in the room. Easy to get to Lake Arrowhead Village. Convenient for our trip to Sky Park. Beach area is small and surrounded by other private properties so a little limited.

Everything is great except the restaurant. It took 65 min to bring mac and chees, burger with franch fries, which was kids meal and after some time they brought the rest of the order. The 65 dollor steak was overcooked eventhough we asked medium rare. Also the chicken dish was served with vegitables which were undercoocked. Others were sitting for almost same time with onlybbread and butter. But all that I could take but not the fact that a table next to us came 30 min after us and their food was served 20 min before ours. However, I overheard the conversation about the steak that was not made the way it was requested. They did not charge for our steak after we showed them half of it, we were hungry afterall. Anyway the food seved late or on time is not worth the money. They need oil the kitchen for normal operation. Love the fact of the moove theater and the game room for kids. Also the pool is great even at February.

The place was amazing. It was very reasonable. We had a place overlooking the lake, which was outstanding. You could even go into the lake. It was getting warm and of course the pool!- the service at the bar restaurant was fabulous and the food was fabulous and reasonable. it was so nice to get away from The overcast in San Diego after three months of no sun.

The staff was really nice. We tried eating at their restaurant and food was ok, but pricey and service was slow. The area around the hotel was great with a grocery store, and various dining options a very short walk away. The grounds of the hotel was also nice. They had family friendly movies and a small game room. The pool was heated and we got to enjoy it. Would definitely stay again.

The room was comfy and the guest services was excellent. Beautiful/peaceful nature made for amazing hikes. I took a chance on the resort restaurant and was amaze at the wonderful decor and dinning experience. The steak was delicious/juicy.

Check in was easy and smooth - room was mostly clean, there was some residue on the tv stand. We ate at Bin 189 and it wasn't anything special - would recommend finding somewhere else to eat. The view from the hotel was nice on the third floor - if you can, make sure to get the specific 'Lakeside View' rooms. There were no noise issues we could hear outside our room so we could sleep just fine. Would stay again.

Nice Resort close walking distant to town. The rooms Need updating. Our floor was stained obviously from pets. Should be designated rooms pet owners just like smoking and nonsmoking Staff was great. Bartenders excellent. Food was good. Nice grounds

We had several issues with the stay. First was a barking dog in the room next door from 1030p to 2am in the morning and then again from 5am on. We contacted the front desk and they advised someone would contact the noisy dogs' owners. The front desk the next day said it it happens again, we can contact the front desk after 10pm. That would do nothing and interrupt yet another night of sleep. Had to keep insisting that something can be done, they offered to move our room and we accepted the move and being inconvenienced out of something not our fault. The noisy dog and owners should have been relocated. After the next day, they agreed to waive the resort fee for 1nt, which really was not good enough compensation for 2 days of barking. Second, the rooms were a bit dated, both rooms had stained carpet, probably from the showers leaking....this was in both of the rooms we were in. The floors of the bathrooms was always sopping wet after a shower. Had to always use 2 towels to avoid the floor being flooded. The room had a 1998 Marriott vibe and that was 28 years ago.

The staff was outstanding! We loved the views, private beach access and the pool/hot tub. We had a perfectly relaxing time and enjoyed every second of our stay. We will be back!

The spa, gym and pool were excellent. Restaurant’s menu changed for the best since our last visit and we enjoyed few takeouts from hotel’s restaurant. Room seems like had not had “facelift” for years and needed some renovations. It was nice stay. I wish the room / bathroom were updated.
