Broken toilet, broken blow dryer, no shampoo, the entire lobby/dining area smells like chlorine from the indoor therapy pool, situated next to the lobby elevator. I also felt that the surrounding area was unsafe. That said, the staff were extremely welcoming, personable, and responsive.

Low water pressure. Fridge made racket all night and so did the AC. Elevator broke down right before leaving and we had to sherpa our stuff from the top floor. I will say the staff were very nice.

Dried pee on the “sanitized” toilet seat. Verrrrry Questionable stains on the box spring cover. Shower was awful, at least in my room it was. TV remote had crusties on it. Place was pretty rough. I’m sure it’s been hard for hotels since 2020 but jeez $160 a night for that? I’ll sleep in my car.

Why didn’t I like the stay? Let me count the ways; 1)We were asked to show a certificate for our service dog(witch is not legal). 2)Ants all around the wet bar and bathroom sink. 3) We were woken just after getting in bed by someone who was given a key to our room and opened the door and started to walk in until I shouted. 4) The power went out in the middle of the nite for an hour stopping my CPAP to stop and waking me up.5)A homeless person in the parking garage walking around carrying some sort of junk.

Chen (spelling?) was very patient and helpful! I called prior to check in to ask about early check in for the 3 rooms I reserved for Thanksgiving night. She had my registration paper work ready for me and placed all 3 rooms next to each other on the same floor. She went above and beyond in accomodating my party and me!

Flag City is really convenient and you don’t have to stay in Stockton. The area us safe, has plenty of food spots and you can readily get gas… The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and Best Westerns do a breakfast. We got a great rate by booking early…

Comfortable beds with fresh sheets and soft pillows. Very clean. Breakfast was well prepared and attendant was astute. Check in was easy. Air conditioning was cool. Be aware location has highway noise.

The overall condition of the rooms was not good, however, they were clean and maintained. The breakfast was excellent, with many options and the staff were friendly.

Problem was hotel had a power outage one hour after we arrived. Power never came back on. While it was a city issue, we had no breakfast, no hot water to shower, very poor lighting to exit in the morning Dow stairs, and no credit issued after our request.

Great place to stay for the night or even a couple days. Quick access to the freeway and food and Starbucks close by. Amazing staff and clean rooms.

If you have a choice DON’T stay here. They charged my card multiple times after being upset I booked through a 3rd party site. The charge was already on my credit card and they requested $cash after that supposedly everything was fine. We tried to come in on the 18th and couldn’t get into our room that had our belongings. I had to threaten to call the sheriff to come open the room. We bought trip insurance so we immediately cancelled our reservation and went to another hotel where we were treated with respect. They also sit and talk back and forth in their native language and you can tell they are talking about you. I told them it’s rude to speak in another language but it never changed. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Not to mention all the unhoused people outside asking for money as you try to go in.

Everything was old and worn. Bathroom sink would not drain. A/C unit was loud and would not maintain a temperature. Toilet seat was cheap plastic and loose from the toilet.
