It’s a very run down Westin with stained gross floors out dated everything the bathrooms are gross and old. The staff doesnt even add your Bonvoy membership. So they Put us in a room right next to the ice machine. When they should have upgraded us to a suite. Then after the first night they tried to move us. They tried to tell me it’s because I checked in at 11:30 pm. But you should get the same service no matter the time.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the lobby and main communal locations are pristine and well maintained, however when we checked into our room on the 6th floor, I think it was room 621, we were greeted by a truly strong mildew smell. At first we thought maybe it will pass but after spending about an hour in the room the smell only intensified and I ended up calling to ask to be moved to a different room. The staff was totally accommodating and moved us just up the hall to room 607 I think and unfortunately the smell was still there albeit way less strong. At this point it was like 9 pm and we were tired so we just dealt with it but clearly they got some kind of water leak on the 6th floor. So maybe ask for any other floor lol. Also, parking is like $50 a night but I mean its whatever. We were only staying one night for a cruise departing the next day so it is what it is. Its a quick drive to the Los Angeles Port.

We had a wonderful stay at The Westin Long Beach this weekend. The hotel is beautiful, our room was clean and comfortable with a great view, and the staff was consistently friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for enjoying Long Beach and made our weekend getaway even better. Overall, an excellent experience from check-in through our stay. We’d absolutely stay here again when visiting the LBC!
