Nice, clean room. Didn’t like that there was only one elevator working so it took a while getting to the floor I needed. Friendly staff. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

The included hot breakfast was decent. It was definitely appreciated. There are no microwaves in the room. There is one available for use in the lobby. Also, the in room minifridge did not seem to get cold enough to safely keep food or even to keep drinks really cold.

The property did not have a gym, which did not make or break the stay. The breakfast was not good; the meats were very, very salty, the scrambled eggs were not made from fresh eggs, and there was only sliced oranges for fruit (no bananas or apples). The bathroom door in our hotel room was broken (the bolt latch part of the door was stuck inward) and the room fridge had a glass door which I had to cover up with clothing to block out the large amount of light that made it hard for sleeping.

The property did not have a gym, which did not make or break the stay. The hotel is very outdated. They had their pool under maintenance which was one reason we chose to stay here due to traveling with a 12 year old. The check in ckerk was not friendly or talkative at all.

When we arrived, we were bone tired and in need of peace and quiet for sleep. The hotel allowed an early check in and we got right in our room. The hotel is spotless, as is the room! No loud or unusual noises or interruptions. The room was very clean and smelled fresh. The whole experience was memorable and without complaint. We didn’t try the food offerings, but did look over the menu which looked varied and reasonably priced. Parking is connected to the hotel and very easy to load/ unload. The staff friendly and professional. Overall a great experience and heads and shoulders above the places we stayed on the way to California from Wisconsin. The hotel will be our choice to stay again should we need to return. You won’t be disappointed!

The room was ok and location. The thing. I did not like was the carpet floor. It looks like they have not cleaned it in years. It feels sticky from lack of cleaning. The hallway looks cleaner then the room floor.

Room was ok. Linens were clean, not sure anything else was. Counters were dirty. Bathroom needed updating and thorough cleaning. Ice maker in hallway was filthy. Carpets don’t appear to have been vacuumed in some time. Never saw a maid take a vacuum off their carts.

FILTHY all around... We were absolutely disgusted staying there. Entire ceiling had HANGING DUST bunnies! I've never seen anything like that! Very thick layer of dirt on all light fixtures and black mold on sink drain!.. I wish I could post .. But I also must tell everyone that my shoes made that sticky sound on the tiled floor in hallway and bathroom. The only reason I chose this hotel was included breakfast and I must say that they served either boiled/steamed/microwaved sausage and ham (terrible), fake eggs and some Chinese style porridge with fried onions.. Same things every day.. We also felt out of place since we were the 1 out 3 non-Chinese families staying there too. I'd never stay there again..

The first night I stayed, the hotel on the second floor had a party from 6 pm to midnight, the party was so loud we could hear at the 5th floor, I wouldn’t book the hotel if I know they have a event until nightlight. Also my daughter said the next room was made loud noise until 2:00 am, so she had to call the security to stop them.

There is parking in the premises. But it can use an upgrade as the space feels old and dated. The breakfast can also be improved as it is obvious that you are getting yesterday's leftovers.

It was a solid stay Only downfall was the remote for the tv not working, but I have an IPhone and figured out how to pair my phone with the tv so no biggie I just wish there was a bit more variety for breakfast, but I do respect the culture I absolutely love the view My son loved the decor I’ll definitely be back soon

I picked this based on location, however I was disappointed with the room. The elevator smelled like piss? The hotel is obviously older and in need of some renovation and cleaning. Unable to use the TV as all service were internet based and the internet was down or would go down constantly, no internet no TV or internet service. If you are on business or with a family having no internet is a big deal, fix it!

They have HORRIBLE service. When we checked out, they only gave us the receipt of one of the rooms we stayed at instead of both rooms. When we called later, they didn't want to send the receipt via email and had all kinds of reasons like "we gave you the receipts". It took 15 min on the phone with their horrible attitude to get the receipts sent,

No room cleaning or room make up and we stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast room very small and gets really crowded. Jaded rooms. Good things are the bed and linen. Spacious rooms and clean bathroom. More catered to East Asian people. Check in took 20mins and the person checking in didn't bother to converse on questions asked. Stay only if have no other option.

Staff was not helpful. My handle on the door to my room didn’t work. Went for help. Staff wouldn’t get anyone to help all they did was return my key card and said I would have to wait 2 hours until maintenance got there to get my stuff out of the room even though I had an appointment in 30 minutes. I almost had to break the door to get into my room to get my things. Meanwhile staff just sat on his phone at the counter like nothing was happening. Horrible service!!

They overbooked the hotel and cancelled my fully paid reservation last minute. And we have to scramble to find another hotel. Paid full price for another hotel due to laat minute booking. But they won't offer any help or discount for anything. Terrible way of doing business. Will never book this hotel again.

Great stay, easy check-in. The staff held my luggage while I attended my event during the day since it was too soon to check-in my room. Very appreciative of their efficiency and kindness. Felt safe and enjoyed my stay.

No complaints about the hotel. Though the area it is in lacks a diversity of food options. There is only Asian food options anywhere near the hotel. My stay was two weeks and I had to drive out of the area if I wanted any other type of food.

I will stay here again if I visit LA next time. It is in China town. Walk to many good restaurants. Parking is convenient and cheap. Room is quiet. Price is low. BTW, I recommend Unique milk tea. Actually that store is a little far away. I wish we have one here.

The property is old, but it is clean and quiet. It has everything I needed. They also provide free breakfast, and there are plenty of restaurants around. I also feel safe walking around the street at night.

The hotel was older but big and very clean (I could smell cleaning products when walking hallway - which I liked) Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast room is super clean with attendant standing by to keep things tidy and refill food. Plenty of parking and good location. I will be staying here when in Monterey Park.

The property did not have a gym, which did not make or break the stay. The breakfast was not good; the meats were very, very salty, the scrambled eggs were not made from fresh eggs, and there was only sliced oranges for fruit (no bananas or apples). The bathroom door in our hotel room was broken (the bolt latch part of the door was stuck inward) and the room fridge had a glass door which I had to cover up with clothing to block out the large amount of light that made it hard for sleeping.

The hotel is mainly set up for Korean and Asian travelers. Breakfast is highly tilted toward Asian breakfast meals. Other than that, I thought the place was great. We were probably the only western people in the hotel at that time. Definitely liked it and would definitely stay there again.

The breakfast was a Chinese breakfast, with noodles, porridge, and other staple Chinese breakfast vegetables. But they also had cold french fries and potatoes, macaroni salad and other random items. It wasn’t what we were expecting, it would have been better if the food was hot but most of the breakfast items were cold. The room was fine but they only clean it every 3 days. The tub didn’t have a stopper so don’t expect to take baths.

Front desk needs improvements in friendliness. More concerned with what is on the computer screen. I specifically asked about information about the hotel when I checked in. But had to return to the front desk to find out which floor the ice machine works (7th) fyi. Breakfast was excellent, especially the eggs and sausage. Nice variety. Breakfast staff friendly and professional.

Parking was good. Older hotel, not kept up. Breakfast was ok. Staff was friendly. Not very clean, found hair not mine on the bed under the pillows. Was itchy through out the night. Remote control for tv was a completely different control and could find how to look at the guide or watch something. The rating this hotel had is incorrect.
