The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was great. The only issue is the room was a little hot for us without ac and just the little box fan for cooling. Other than that, it was a great stay.

This was a small motel somewhat dated. There wasn’t really a lobby. They offered earplugs at the small check-area, which made us curious. We found that the walls are thin and you could hear every move others made, especially above our room. The room was ok and worked for one night. No breakfast was offered. There was coffee in the room.

Comfortable beds and a surprisingly large refrigerator for a motel room. There was also in-room coffee, which is always appreciated, and a microwave which we never used. The room was a bit cramped, but we managed OK. If you’re driving a large vehicle you may find the parking lot cramped as well, though there is parking on the street. The room was also equipped with some “past their prime washcloths” under the sink which were intended for wiping up spills, a nice touch. The regular towels and washcloths were, of course, also provided and they were in fine shape. When we checked in our bathroom had about 1/3 or a roll of TP, and no backup roll. I went down to the front desk and got another roll, and thought that a backup would arrive with maid service the next day. It didn’t. It’s always good to have a full, fresh backup roll, so there’s an easy area for improvement. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we would stay there again.

The room was small but well appointed. Small refrigerator and microwave. Nice shower. We are informed there was no air conditioning but the open window and ceiling fan made it a comfortable temperature. A box fan was stored in the closet if we needed.

Stayed a night, clean room, bathroom, everything was excellent. No Air conditioning as was already informed, kept 1st floor windows open for fresh air. Surprised to see a huge walk-in closet with doors removed. Toilet tank valve leaks draining water all the time so had to turn off supply at night to stop hearing the sound all night. Parking is limited and a hopeless vacationer had parked over the lines occupying two spots. All restaurants at the marina are walkable. Overall wonderful stay.

This motel met my needs perfectly. The bed was comfortable, the maid service was provided daily, and both the water temperature and pressure were consistently good. It had a separate closet, which was a nice feature, though adding a door would have made it even better. The old dressing table was convenient for setting up coffee and storing food. Overall, it was a great little motel for the week!

The rooms are small, but perfect for one or two people—three would fit, but it would be a bit snug. The location is great, within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and coffee spots. The lady at the front desk was very kind and friendly.

While this is a basic hotel, I was impressed with the workmanship in the remodeled bathroom. I have not found better workmanship in more expensive hotels. For the price I could not expect more. The cleanliness was exeptional.

If i could give zero stars i absolutely would. Unfortunately I didnt read the yelp reviews on this place before staying here. Booked the room for 6 days. Long story short, the bed was dirty and hadnt been made, the bathroom was disgusting (fecal matter on the toilet seat and something all over the sink and mirror), towels on the floor and toilets. Oh and there was also a cat in the room. As soon as the office opened in the morning ( we were not able to sleep in the room obviously) i went in and talked to the older lady at the front desk who was extremely rude/hostile. She admitted the maid didnt clean the room because it "wasnt on her list". I asked for a full refund and a receipt and she said she couldnt do that and that they were going to charge me for the first night even though nothing but a chair was used for a couple of hours. Theres a lot more i could add but thats the gist of it. Save your momey, this place is absolutely terrible.

The room was pricey for what it was. You are basically paying for the location although you don't even get a view of the ocean here. The room and bathroom were small. The bedding had stains on it. Nice room just too tiny for 3 people and too expensive for what we got.

Clean hotel. Some room features were somewhat dated, but it was very clean. No tub, just a shower. Happy with the housekeeping after our 1st night of a 2 night stay! Will stay here again!

This was a nice stay and we'd come back. Very easy to check in, very clean, nice bed, and near the water.

The room we stayed in had a thick coat of dust on the wall as if it had not been cleaned in months. (See photos attached) We did not see the filth until the next morning, when we both woke up super congested. The clerk had zero customer service skills. She took personal offensive about practically everything I said when I showed her the photos of the room and asked her to come upstairs to view it for herself. She refused to come look at it and said “I’m not going in that room because I have allergies!”. I explained to her that I just wanted to have a clean room to stay in and not be charged $250 for a filthy room. She started blaming the owner, the housekeeper… saying it was housekeepings fault because they didn’t know how to speak English. When we spoke to housekeeping and showed her the issue, she kept saying Manager… Manager. At best, this property is horribly managed and apparently the owner doesn’t really care how the guests feel about their stay. In addition, there were no amenities at this hotel of any kind. I have submitted pictures showing the thick coating of dust that was on the wall. It obviously hadn’t been cleaned in months at best. Both the owner and clerk refused to do anything to compensate us for the condition of the room the night we stayed. We had to change hotels to finish out our weekend. I highly recommend that everyone stay anywhere but at this place for health reasons alone. Who knows what else they don’t clean properly. BEWARE

We thought the room was spotless and organized with all the amenities we wanted except for a clock, and we didn't see an ice machine, but it wasn't summer so really was not needed. the manager or owner was very friendly and accommodating.

Nice beach area motel. However, Room 103 was way too small for twin beds. Additionally, the beds were old, weary, soft on purpose? Regardless, it was not a good sleeping experience.

The room and beds were quite comfortable and clean. They need to get a better remote for the TV as it was not very usable.

The building is not well soundproofed so besides stomping stair sounds, every movement and breath of other guests in other rooms can be heard. Management texted a few hours before checkin, to demand a different credit card number from the one my booking agency had stating they would cancel reservation if I didn’t respond. Room wasn’t ready for a full 90 minutes after check in time given me in written booking confirmation. Management were rude and combative when I pointed out my communications had a different checkin time from the one which they told me when I arrived to check in (at 3pm not their claimed 4pm yet still room wasn’t available until 4:30.) In the morning the parking lot was strewn with garbage from nearby dumpsters. The whole property and room is pasted with puerile rules about what guests must not do. This controlling atmosphere is not welcoming. If cleaning rooms in high season is an issue I suggest this business pass some of the profits from capacity bookings onto the community and hire more albeit temporary housekeeping staff rather than alienate guests by not having rooms available to them on time.

Very nice for the price. Walkable to shopping and dining and beach. However, try to get 2nd floor you can hear people constantly walking above you.

Room is really nice and great furniture. Bed is great. Clean rooms. The only negative is: the walls are really thin. If your neighbor talks normal voice or is a heavy walker, you hear it. Same with bathroom at night.

This is not an ocean view room. You can see a portion of the ocean from a corner window but don’t be fooled by the wording.

- I accidentally booked with an expired card, totally my mistake. However, they called at 8AM to tell me I only had three hours to call back with a different card number or my booking would be cancelled. I had a late night the night before and was trying to get some sleep before our long road trip that day, isn’t the general rule of thumb to not call until 9AM? Again, totally my mistake in providing the wrong card number, but I selected that I would be paying at the property, why did I need to be woken up in the morning to give a new card number? It’s not like I would have been able to get to the room without paying, and their check in is at 4PM. They also called back again shortly after because they got the card number I gave them wrong, and the lady acted like it was my fault for saying my number too fast. - the check in process was weird. I just told them my name and they gave me the room keys. They didn’t even ask to see my ID and I didn’t sign anything? Very odd. - the location was great! - the rooms were fine. Small and not especially modern, but adequate. - uncomfortable beds and thin walls, we could hear our room neighbors talking and running the TV, we were even woken up by a vibrating cell phone from next door! - aggressive signs in the room saying they’ll charge if you stain a towel and charging for a late check-out, it felt a little aggressive and excessive.

Absolutely loved my birthday trip to this magical place. From the moment I arrived to my last day, the staff greeted me first day. They even send me a message in case I arrive late with instructions how to get my keys. This can easily say was the best treatment I have ever received. The hotel exceeded my expectations, thank you so much. Strongly recommend it, and I will be back.

They canceled our reservation while we were en route due to our credit card being declined. The message said to call by 10:00 a.m. which we did, but they said they had already canceled and didn’t even give us a chance to use another card. We were forced to book another hotel which was way more expensive. Terribly rude and inconsiderate. We had stayed there before but never again.

Check in was the easiest I've had in 20 years. Friendly front desk. Quiet property. Beds were comfy. My family was very happy with the hotel and it's location. Would certainly stay again.

At check-in as I walked in, Vicky said, “Rick? Welcome!” She had my paperwork out and handed me the packet of info!!

Great Customer Service. My Niece was arriving earliest than me and the help-desk was kind to allow her to check in (it was a long drive) early.

I liked that it is located a couple blocks away from the traffic noise of the Embarcadero but close enough to be within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and it was nice and quiet.

Affordable; nice staff; decent rooms for the price especially close to the main shopping area in Morro Bay

It was close the Morro Bay Car Show and resturants all within walking distance of the hotel.

A great little place to stay in Moro Bay. Able to walk to everything in town. The location was convenient and quiet!

We only stayed one night as we were on our way back home however, this hotel was located nicely in town where we could easily get down to the Embarcadero and see Morro Bay and not far from a very good restaurant whose menu look more like a diners called the hungry fisherman
