Awesome location along the River & walking distance to downtown Napa! Very close walk to the Oxbow Market! Only disappointment was no pool or jacuzzi. Probably would not stay at this property for that reason alone.

This hotel lists a bar and restaurant on site, However, all the serve is a very limited breakfast which was terrible. Room was beautiful and clean and great location , but was missing something . No pool or hot tub .

Very easy to check in with ample parking. Front desk personnel were very friendly. Wine tasting was a added treat. Outside patio was the best.

This hotel was great and we really enjoyed our stay. I travel often for work and typically stay in Marriott properties, my only surprise was how expensive even the smallest amenities were at this hotel. No morning coffee in the lobby just water for free and bikes out front are $20/hr so it’s not even worth taking to explore the downtown. I also thought from the pics online that there was easy walking access to a park but could not find that.

Great location, walking distance to Oxbow and downtown area. Parking onsite is plentiful and easy. I had a beautifully serene view of the river from my private terrace. For a solo overnight stay, it was alright. Poor noise insulation either from thin walls or from gap in room door (guests were respectful but could hear everything in hallway), my bed squeaked with shifting, jetted tub would turn on randomly even when I didn’t engage the function and after it was drained. Basically the destination fee went towards self-parking. Didn’t care for the other perks ($10 discount at their restaurant, Peloton bikes in their gym, one hour of rental bike, and welcome wine).

The staff was amazing. The property was very clean. Walkable to downtown Napa. I felt safe there as the main doors locked at night time and you needed your key to access the inside of the property

The hotel is in a very walkable area and has a great location on the river. The staff was amazing. However, for over 500 per night the hotel itself is pretty run down and the rooms are sparsely decorated. It does not feel like a 4-5 star hotel. Our patio had used matches all over it and was pretty dirty. There was popcorn/food on the ground of the room/carpet. Just had room for improvement for the price. The staff at the front desk and at the restaurant however were amazing/nice so they deserve extra kudos

Property is walking distance from downtown. Bedroom was a good size. Bed was comfortable. Room smelled musty. Our room seemed outdated. Lighting in the room is yellowish. A refresh wouldn’t be a bad idea. The destination charge is unmerited considering that what it covers is what most hotels provide.

The location is nice, its next door to the wine train. The lobby is small but looks nice. The biggest problem was the amount of unexpected fees at check-in. There is a daily resort fee and im not sure what its supposed to cover seeing that the property is far from resort. They have a gym that i did not use. The room we had did have a fire place. The staff at check in were nice. We received an additional charge after check out that I still dont know what it was for. The “mini bar” in the room was one bottle of wine and 3 bottles of water. We did receive 4 $10 vouchers at check in but could only use 1/day which wasnt of much value to us. The shower had hair when we checked in and the floors were a bit dirty. The carpet in the hallways is very old and soiled and definitely needs to be replaced. They did provide free bottles of water at the front desk and a glass of wine at check in. There are better properties in Napa for around the same price.

I don’t know how a $359 room ends up being $515 for 1 night. I have stayed in much nicer hotels for a lot less. The beds need new mattresses. It is like sleeping on a rock. The rooms are dated. Tge river view was blocked by an awning and covered in bird poop and cigarette buts. There are weird smells in the elevator. Loud music was playing until nearly midnight. The rooms are very poorly designed because you can hear people on the patio. If you are sent an email telling you you can upgrade to the highest floor, don’t do it! Instead of the highest floor, it was the second floor. The only good thing about this place was the service. The bartender was great! Otherwise, I will not be returning to this property ever again. I was very disappointed.

Booked a get away and thrilled we chose River Terrace Inn. We booked a deluxe king and loved the jetted tub and fireplace. The balcony over the river was awesome for early morning coffee. We ate at Alba and had amazing service and great food/drinks. Major bonus points for being so pet friendly!! We sat down for dinner and our pups had a bowl of water served immediately. We loved that!!! The location is super convenient along the river and was a relaxing walking path for the pups. The hotel is a short walk to both the Culinary Institute, and The OxBow Food Hall. On Saturday morning hit the Farmers Market! A quick drive to all the wineries. Couldn’t be happier! Thanks for a great stay! Can’t wait to visit again!

The backyard / bar of this hotel is beautiful and very cozy next to the river with chairs and lounges with fire pits. It is walkable to downtown and super close to the Oxbow market (where the trolley tour starts) and the Napa train station. The room we had was big, with a fireplace and a nice view of the river. The TV was big and had access to Netflix and other platforms. The restaurant had good food but not a lot of options. And only had breakfast and dinner.. no lunch. It was a good place for our first time in Napa.

Place was fantastic. Close to Oxbow market area and downtown where all the restaurants are. Staff was great. Room large and large bathroom too. Within 30 minutes of numerous wineries. Outdoor area by the river very relaxing.

The hotel was nice but the rooms were VERY small. Tiny balcony with the AC exhaust blown right onto it. No pool or hot tub. Definitely not worth the price I paid plus fees. Won’t be staying there ever again.

The hotel was beautiful. The only complaint I have is that the AC unit in the room was very noisy. Sounded like something was flapping around inside. Kept me up during the night. Otherwise, I enjoyed the stay.

I love this hotel. It is centrally located in the heart of downtown Napa. I love that back where you can walk to downtown and places to eat. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast and foods are delicious. Great Staff and they are always helpful. Highly recommend.

My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel, and while we appreciated the beautiful location and convenient amenities, our experience with the service was disappointing. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room that had a very strong smell of smoke, which was especially concerning as my wife is pregnant. We requested a room change for her comfort and health, but the front desk staff member who assisted us initially (a bald gentleman) made it seem that our request was simply not possible. Given my background in Business Calculus, I understand probabilities and the likelihood of room availability, so I inquired further. When he stepped away, another staff member confirmed that multiple rooms were, in fact, available, which was also later verified over the phone. This experience left us feeling as though our polite approach had been overlooked, and we felt that our request was not given the same consideration as that of other guests. Observing the positive treatment provided to other guests before us added to our disappointment. We hope that additional training in customer service might be considered to ensure all guests receive fair and courteous treatment, regardless of the individual assisting them. We visit Napa frequently with family and friends and enjoy exploring new accommodations in the area. We would love to see improvements at this hotel, as the location is ideal, and we would gladly return if assured of a better experience.
My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel, and while we appreciated the beautiful location and convenient amenities, our experience with the service was disappointing. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room that had a very strong smell of smoke, which was especially concerning as my wife is pregnant. We requested a room change for her comfort and health, but the front desk staff member who assisted us initially (a bald gentleman) made it seem that our request was simply not possible. Given my background in Business Calculus, I understand probabilities and the likelihood of room availability, so I inquired further. When he stepped away, another staff member confirmed that multiple rooms were, in fact, available, which was also later verified over the phone. This experience left us feeling as though our polite approach had been overlooked, and we felt that our request was not given the same consideration as that of other guests. Observing the positive treatment provided to other guests before us added to our disappointment. We hope that additional training in customer service might be considered to ensure all guests receive fair and courteous treatment, regardless of the individual assisting them. We visit Napa frequently with family and friends and enjoy exploring new accommodations in the area. We would love to see improvements at this hotel, as the location is ideal, and we would gladly return if assured of a better experience.

We spent NY weekend here and was delighted with the experience. The glass of wine at check in was appreciated after a long, rainy drive. The room was clean, comfortable and generous. We had to call maintenance on our first night and shout out to Bruce who was super helpful and kind. The location was great as well. Wasn’t overly impressed with the restaurant food, but staff was nice and it was convenient to have food available.

Property is in a good location adjacent to the Westin. It is pretty clean and has nice river views but that’s about it. Do not expect anything fancy here or decent service. There were no valet/bell hops whatsoever. The breakfast service in the main lobby is horrible. You will have to wait in line forever to order even a coffee as they only have 1 person taking orders and 1 person running food. I brought this up with the front desk and they didn’t care. Will not travel here again because of lack of amenities and lack of customer service.

The River Terrace Inn is fantastic. We had a wonderful stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms were excellent. Relaxing river views. A great location within walking distance of many wineries and restaurants. The Napa Valley Wine train is just steps away. Our stay was amazing.

We enjoyed this property for the most part. I expected the restaurant in the hotel to feel more like a traditional restaurant, but it often felt empty, like no one was really there eating or serving. They also stop serving food at 10am, don’t start again until 4pm, and close at 10pm. It’s not a big deal since there’s a great spot to eat just 5 minutes away and plenty of options within a short drive. My only other complaint is that our room wasn’t cleaned some days, or if it was, it happened very late, one of my pet peeves. That said, the room itself was nice, and sitting by the river was absolutely wonderful.

This hotel lists a bar and restaurant on site, However, all the serve is a very limited breakfast which was terrible. Room was beautiful and clean and great location , but was missing something . No pool or hot tub .

Nice hotel. Would be nice if the bar/restaurant opened earlier in the afternoon. Having to walk to a food truck outside the hotel on a hot day was an inconvenience. Although the food trucks were not bad. I would stay again.

As a first timer to the Napa Valley area with intentions to experience as much as I can, the River Terrace Inn was absolutely perfect. The close proximity to great restaurants downtown areas with bars and live music were wonderful. Additionally, the ALBA restaurant on site was great and served wonderful food.

The walking distance to Oxbow Market is easy and my dogs love it too. Having Slanted Door Restaurant accross the parking lot is a plus for wonderful dining. The only minus is there is no dining at the hotel... except for breakfast.

Nice upscale touches such as real coffee cups, glass wine glasses and cozy bathrobes. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was tasty and they give you a $10 coupon to use every day of your stay, making the restaurant prices very affordable. Downtown Napa was an easy, safe walk. Would definitely recommend!

For those with mobility issues or high heels:), it's a short uber to restaurants and between 20-30 minutes for the wineries. Cannot emphasize how lovely the front desk, housekeeping and the bar staff were. If you can, go for the upgrade overlooking the river...
