The room was clean and beautifully simple. Proprietor was insistent no smoking or pets which for me is GREAT and the room evidenced that restriction and was very clean with no residual weird smells. Bed was very comfortable. Fridge/freezer on large side exceeded expectation. I heard morning rush hour traffic from Silverado Trail because the room I stayed in was close to the road but for the price and less than a mile from downtown I'd stay there again for sure.

I will never pay for a place like this ever again it was warm when I got in it at 12am after I got in from an event in Calistoga. It was so sticky like someone just took a shower in it. The carpet was sticky. The floors was slope lt was not level. The foundation is probably sinking. I furniture was old old old. It stink in it the room. I wish I could get back my money. The walls was dirty. The trim around the doors was like something ate it on the bottom. The lady change my room after I checked in like two hours later. She said she gave me a better room. It was worse the the first one. I was at my event so when I got in there was no other rooms available. The bed felt like the sheets was not changed And I remember had a gay men couple that was in it when I first checked in. Cause I walked by my room to see it where it was. Room 7 was the worse thing I have ever seen experience. I had to sleep in my car cause I couldn’t sleep in that room. It was bad.

I’m a believer that you get what you pay for, and this was not a high end hotel. I was vibing with the charm of the place - I actually had a view from my window. The room was a bit run down but clean. But there was no hot water in the shower and that’s really bare bones what I need in a hotel. And the owner or manager was leaning on me pretty heavily to check out before 8 am, which was bizarre.

I had to wait the first night more than 40 minutes to get into the room. The second nite I couldnt access the room then had to wait again for a long while to get in. The room was musty and sheets had spots on them. They didn’t have breakfast as advertised and I couldn’t access it for breakfast bagel and bread or coffee I saw at check-in. The gentleman at the desk was cordial. The location is good and safe and room is nice size, beds and pillows okay.

Room was very clean. Whole property very clean and maintained well. Friendly staff. Parking area can be a little tight if you drive a larger vehicle. Overall positive experience.
