Right by the sea. Nice pool area, with towels. Good garage.

Location is everything for this hotel. Our room had an incredible ocean view. There were a few minor issues with the elevator that need to be addressed, but the hotel is clean and our room was spacious and met our needs.

The pool is dirty. The wi-fi is horrible!!! The fan they had in the room was old, dusty dirty so we couldn’t use it and the room was very warm. This place needs A/C. Lastly, the Tv armoire should be centered between the two beds so everyone can see the TV. The only nice thing about our stay was our dinner at the Moonraker Restaurant.

Booked exclusively to swim and use hot tub. Even called directly to check condition. Hot tub broken, pool cold and 1st floor room corner felt unsafe. Used to love this property buts it’s overpriced for current quality. Stay elsewhere

Love this place and have been staying here for 25 years. However one of the buildings has been out of service for over 3 years and you can’t get a luggage cart.

My bestie and I had a great time here! We chose a cove view room and the view and sound of the ocean were amazing. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We had dinner at Moonraker and it was delicious. The hot tub are was clean and perfect temperature. A few changes would make the stay even more amazing: -- more channels on the TV -- a microwave in room

The location was awesome but the hotel is run down and needs to be updated. The spa was broken but the pool was nice Pretty pricey for the facilities

I was so relieved to recall i knew the way into the upper parking. On weekends the ground level is stuffed. I wish the years had been kinder to the parking lot lowest level elevator exterior call button. Its a miserably slow elevator, but to not even know if its been called… cmon guys - you have had years to fix just a light bulb or a wire… Bless the BIG CART maid attempting to take the elevator up to upper floors to clean - NO ONE can ride with her. She puts guests FIRST no matter how long she has to wait. I hope she is recognized for that. Meanwhile… found the stairs. Use em. Auntie Phil’s decor from pre 2016 is still gorgeous from the redo! A thrill to be back at this property. Please keep it from being razed and replaced and megabux per night!

Property was clean and staff were friendly but the AC cut off halfway through the night and staff were not helpful in that regard. Plenty of parking but not too many outlets in the room. Elevator very slow but works.

Room key machine was not working so caused delays in getting into room. Front desk and on property staff were very helpful in assisting during the process. Lobby elevator was not working. Great location in the water

The lady at front desk told us we had to wait to check in because we booked online and we had to put a deposit down. We waited 45 minutes while she helped others. Walls in the hallways were so moldy wallpaper was falling off. Our room the carpet was damp we could not set anything on.

Very nice interior; balcony views unsightly...machinery ALSO in the room on the mirror and on the laminated sheet it states that the room will have maid service each and every day! When i requested new towels the receptionist shoved a printed sign that said every 3 days. I was NOT shown this on check in. Get the story correct and get rid of incorrect signage! I was treated as if i could not read nor could i accept something i had not seen....also the bath area floor was always wet 253 rm

Pictures were misleading. Threadbare carpet and felt dirty. Mold in grout around bath tub. No USB ports in the room

Amazing location right on the ocean. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.

The property location is wonderful. We were a few blocks from the ocean. There were shops and some dinning in the area and other restaurants and shopping within a few miles. The hotel itself is not great. Our rooms were a little run down and had a strong odor of cigarette smoke. The fridge looked clean but was in what looked like a moldy cabinet and had a horrible odor that made everything smell that we put in it. We visit Pacifica/ Half Moon Bay a few times a year and have stayed in nicer hotels for the same price.

First when i arrived it was 15 min before check in. But i figured I would see if we could check in a little early. There wasa sign saying be back at 3 but there was a lady at the computer so i wasnt quite sure what i should do and she didn't respond to me at all for quite awhile. Then she asked me in an irritated voice if she could help me finally. I said i had a reservation and sje just looked it up and said your room will not be ready until 330 or 4. That was it and she went back to her computer. I had checked in online on the way. So maybe a text saying that would be nice. When i came back to check in i had to fill out all my info agaim that i had already done online so that was a little frustrating because my grandbabies were waiting in the car with my daughter. I thought i was saving time by doing it online. I liked the proximity to tbe ocean. But you cant go in the water there because harmful bacteria. The hotel is very dated. The outside in some places looks like it is falling apart. Part of the hotel was roped off. Maybe they are renovating in. Not sure. The room was dated but comfortable and fairly clean except the bathtub had lots of hair and the carpet was so dirty. If it were not for having grand kids it might not have bothered me so much. But I either had to leep washing their feet or puting clean socks on which would get so black. There is pretty much no cell service. I requested towels and coffee but didnt get it. It was ok @ most & I booked a JR. Suite King with a Partial Ocean view & balcony. The view is great. -Bed wasn’t very comfy. The pillows are small & soft & just not comfy -Only vending machine on 1st floor for snacks wasn’t taking cc & no mini bar in room -Very weak cell signal -Food in Moonraker was ok @ most -No mini bar in room

We have stayed at this hotel many times but this time we had issues with the wifi. It was very weak and kept kicking us off. We may not stay here again due to the internet issues.

Reserved a king room, they didn't have it and gave me a double queen room. Something was wrong with the TV and many channels kept pausing. Room was out of conditioner and almost out of tissues. They were working on the balcony upstairs and the debris went all over ours while my husband was on it.

Room was right above the Laundry Service Machines and Hotel HVAC- very noisy!

Pros- Location was perfect for the beach, surrounding trails, and eateries. Room was clean, bed comfortable, water pressure great, and never ending hot water. Cons- Hotel in general looked a bit dated and weather worn. We were disappointed with the slow wifi and glitchy tv. We could also hear the footsteps loud and clear from the floor above. Would we stay again? For the price and location, yes!

The hotel is has a great view of the ocean and is right next to the beach, restaurants, caffé and other businesses. If you're planning a longer stay, just know that NOTHING fits in the mini-fridge, you don't have a microwave in your room unless you have a suite, and the TV only shows cable channels (no access to online streaming services, nor ability to cast from your device). The rooms, however, are of great size, the cleanliness is there, they have a nice bathroom and the hotel is pretty private and quiet.

We booked a courtyard view room so it’d be quiet. Unfortunately, we were given a view of the buildings fans/motors/what not. Very noisy. Room is very dated.

The hotel is right on the ocean. Our room faced the ocean. Whenever we were in the room we had the patio door open. It was lovely. There is a balcony, but only to stand on. It was too small for a chair. The room was clean. I ordered housekeeping for the following day. It never got scheduled. When we checked in there was quite a long line of people and there was only one woman at the desk. She really could have used some help. The hotel is run down, but the draw is the ocean, and the reasonable price.

Nice area; love Rockaway Beach. I didn’t like having to wait longer than 20 minutes for someone to be at the front desk…twice. Lots of people waiting.

Receptionist was extremely rude! Rooms are outdated and felt dirty. Parking was easy.

We do like this place overall- the proximity to the ocean and usually the price is right... We’ve enjoyed the Moonraker restaurant as well. However, the front desk experience each time is super lackluster to poor (slow and unfriendly service and telling me I caused them more work by doing the pre-checkin thing that Wyndham texts you the day before). It does also truly need some TLC from top to bottom, but I’m afraid if that happens, the rates will go up too.

My reservation was canceled by the new computer system. Staff was incapable of quickly fixing the problem. I waited over an hour for the “new “ night staff member to finally give me a room. Then when I went to check out they had over charged me by $145.00. I had to wait again while they tried to fix the issue. Horrible staff!

I cannot say enough positive things about this facility...the staff was absolutely phenomenal...the facilities were clean and could not have been more conveniently located! EVERYTHING was absolutely AMAZING, and my only complaint is that I was only able to stay one day! I will most definitely be returning as soon as possible! Thank you Jane, Emily & all of the wonderful staff who made our stay so memorable!!

We checked in at 5:00pm and out an hour later because we were unable to get the front desk clerk to resolve some major issues. I have asked them for a full refund. The desk clerk said she had no authority to help us and that the manager was home asleep. We had asked to be moved to another room and were refused and told they were booked full. You still had rooms available on your site. We were told there would be no manager available on site until Tuesday. So in a large hotel that was supposed to be completely full there would be no manager for 2 days. We have stayed here at least 25 times through the years. For a Wyndham class hotel and taking it from someone with travel and hospitality professional experience, this was unacceptable and the person left in charge was incompetent and was making up excuses and telling flat out falsities as we spoke. She clearly lacked training.

The facility had updated their computer system and guests were having trouble checking in causing a serious delay before we hot to our room.

It was such a great lication right by the ocean.

Great place to stay! The location is amazing, right on the ocean and Mori point trail. The outside looks a little run down but the rooms are nice, big, and updated. The elevator is a little scary but they got stairs! Overall great ocean stay.

Location, location, location!

Location makes this place great! Access to the beach and the walking trails were nice. The hotel is a little dated but was clean and we felt safe. Overall the stay was a good value especially for the price considering how much other ocean front hotels are in the area. Would recommend.

This is a must stay! Excellent location for exploring San Francisco...easy access to Highway 1 and 280... Pacific Ocean right outside the door and great restaurant .. we've stayed here a few times.... love it!

Quiet area, this is a fairly large hotel. Outside looks a little rough and needs updating, but the rooms were nice. Couple places walkable to restruants. Beach area, views are awesome. Small pool for guest.

Good place to stay, functional and nothing fancy. You're there to see the ocean and area though, right? The Moonraker attached restaurant is also very good - usually has live piano playing standards.

The attached restaurant, Moonraker, has a decent happy hour, but the fish and chips was lacking. Three small fingers of battered cod with some fries for $21 seems a bit much.

The staff was friendly, polite and accommodating. Food a Nicks, Breakers and Moonrakers is excellent.

The dining options are nice. Hotel has a nice restaurant and there are two others just outside the hotel that serve breakfast, lunch or dinner. Hotel does not provide breakfast. Ocean view and beach is very nice.

Location is amazing! Food at Moonracker and Nick’s is fantastic! Moonracker sole and Nick’s carb sandwich were personally tested. Be careful of riptide. Hiking trails are fun and can be challenging.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Rooms were nice and clean. The restaurant was amazing. We would definitely come back. Area is also very nice.

Rooms are large with amazing ocean views. The Moonraker restaurant is excellent with a lively bar and a piano player. Staff are all very helpful. Plenty of parking.
