Did not like paid parking which was not discloses up front. Love the room however.

1 night stay.. The Bed Is Not so comfortable pillows are very lumpy... elevator carpet needs to be replaced with tile ... its pretty BAD .. the bathroom exhaust fan cover was missing with exposed fan blades and wires ... front desk assoc. were very nice ...

Everything was good except elevator was not working!

Room was average. Water from shower seemed to be leaking on the floor. Pricy for one night, but close to the beach. They charged for parking which is crazy for the price of the room. Stayed here before and no parking charge.

We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our third floor room and could hear the waves from our open window. The room was clean and updated. Strong water pressure. Pet friendly. Short walk to beach. Quiet with cute shopping area surrounding the hotel. Friendly staff. Easy parking on site for an extra fee. Our second stay here and will keep returning when we are in the area!

The property is near a shoreline trail, packed with beautiful views of the ocean and foliage. We enjoyed a convenient, sunset walk to Taco Bell. Unfortunately, the hotels updates to the building didn't improve the quality of our stay. It was noisy, elevator is broken, moderately clean and missing fixtures in the bathtub. The parking is very limited and first come, first serve daily. After a long day of exploring the coast, don't anticipate your previously paid parking to be honored.

Family room was nice and big. Pretty clean overall. The ice bucket was disgusting. The elevator carpets were gross and horribly smelly and bleach. The parking was very small and there were not enough parking spaces. I stayed 3 nights and was only able to park inside the parking 1 night. Two other nights I was required to park on the street. I need to be reimbursed for two days of charges for parking!

The elevator is out of order. Walking up 2 flights of stairs with luggage - not what I expected. This Inn is next to an “all night” dance club and you can hear the music and practically feel the vibration from your room.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. However, the room smelled stale, had food from previous guests in the fridge and just appeared to be given a once over but not really cleaned.

I didn’t have high expectations for this place and it was just for one night so I thought, how bad could it really be? Well it turns out it can be really bad…if you expect bare minimum cleanliness like clean bedding/towels and also a clean shower and toilet that you can use then definitely do not book this place. If you don’t mind sleeping in bedding covered in stains and filth (including pillow cases) and an uncomfortable mattress or showering in a shower full of pink and yellow scum and other people’s hair, then by all means, this place is perfect for you! Location is great! Next time I will try somewhere else. Definitely go to this area, see the beach eat at Nick’s and Breakers.

The location is fabulous if you’re wanting a beach stay. However, the place is filthy. Full disclosure, I own a residential cleaning business. That means I see dirt that the normal eye may not. That said, I see the dirt that the Hotel should be making sure their cleaning crew isn’t leaving behind or ignoring. For example, the large full length mirror in the room hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. It had a film of dirt and finger prints on it. The bathroom floors were not vacuumed. They need to be vacuumed not swept. There are hardwood floors in the rooms which is more than fine with me but those must be vacuumed AND MOPPED. Every single time. The floor in our room hadn’t been mopped in I don’t know how long. The floor had visible spills of coffee and whatever else on it. It was also sticky if you walked bare foot. I kept either my shoes or flip flops on the entire time. And that’s not all. There was hair left in the shower on the walls. The light switches had finger prints and dirt on them. The bed’s headboard was so dusty that if you dragged a finger through it, dust would fly around. The windows that overlooked the ocean were dirty making the view a dirty hazy one. The sheets were clean. So there’s that. We didn’t pay a million bucks for the room but I expect a no frills room to at least be clean. Actually clean. Not just pretend clean. You have an absolutely beautiful location. Do better! I’d come back if it was clean. Unfortunately, I’ll never take that chance again.

Dirty room and floor, dirty pillows, clump of hair found under bed sheets, toilet paper holder broken, bathtub creaking, shower head leaks, cracked sink, dirty hand towel, noisy elevator, no WiFi. Overall experience was not good.

We booked this property specifically because it’s pet-friendly, and the gentleman at the front desk was very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the room itself was extremely disappointing. It was noticeably dirty, with hair in the bathtub and bathroom, mold, burn marks on the countertops, and dust on the walls. The smell in the room was also quite unpleasant. Although we booked a room with an ocean view, it only had one small window with a limited view that didn’t live up to expectations. We had planned a two-night stay but ended up leaving right after checking in. It was a frustrating waste of time, money, and travel.

Place did not seem clean, sheets had noticeable stains. Some spots were dusty, obviously not been cleaned in a while.

When we arrived, we found that the toilet had urine in it. The overall feeling of the room was unsanitary. Actually, it was pretty dirty. I spilled water on the floor and when I wiped it up the rag came back black with dirt. I used to stay here frequently, and it was a nice place. It’s a damn shame that they’ve let it become so rundown and dirty. I just wasn’t in the mood to complain as we were there to celebrate our late mother’s birthday.

Rooms and motel are old and dirty.

I really like this Inn, except it’s wifi. This area has no wireless, so the Wi-Fi is the only way get connected. I stayed in room 310, good ocean view, clean, however, no Wi-Fi signal. I brought my iPhone around, found Wi-Fi signals were actually strong near the 4 corners of the building, except the middle of the aisles. So, Inn manager, please fix that, I will come again.

It’s hard to be on a business trip and stay at this hotel because of the WiFi not working at all and cell service is non existent. So off the grid type of stay at this hotel is really nice but for business it’s not great. As far as the room you can tell it’s outdated and has old furnishings. Some paint peeling off of walls and baseboard makes it feel old. The sink was clogged and the toilet is really low to the ground. The towels were half clean and half dirty. Two towels for shower if you stay two nights. It’s only a problems when one towel has weeds and mud on it and in it. Not sure what happened from the wash to the room but it was obviously not clean at all. The bathroom fan cover was missing and all the dust from centuries was seen and could possibly fall on your head at any moment. Besides all that the staff was mostly friendly and fast at service. My room wasn’t ready when I arrived at 5pm so I took another on a lower floor. Beach view is great and can’t be beat. I hope this review helps someone deciding on staying here for business or for leisure. If not Internet is needed or cell service then this location is great because of the beach and few restaurants and stores.

We stayed here last Aug with no issues. This time we were in room 217. The bathtub had mold around the caulking, the shower wall was dirty. The towels had what looked like blood stains, luckily I brought my own. But the WiFi never connected and the tv didn’t work. The location is awesome, the beach is in walking distance like a quick 3 min walk. The view was cool but the window doesn’t open all the way so it’s not a very clear view. The staff was very nice and professional just wish the WiFi and cable had been working.

Seems like half the hotel room only got updated. Bathroom was old and tub got filled while showering. Floors were coming undone

I paid extra for Ocean View and got a room with a big building blocking the ocean view. The receptionist told me she can’t help it if a building is blocking my view and it’s still an Ocean view. :-(

Our room had a broken TV and we eventually moved rooms. We enjoyed the view

I booked first floor’s room through Hotels.com and when we got the hotel the lady at the front desk said if we paid $68 would get a 3rd floor and ocean view room. We agreed and went to our 3rd floor room but the room she gave us wasn’t cleaned. The bed was messy and used towels were at the bathroom. She gave us another room which was 2nd floor. And I checked my card and was charged over $200. She said she did mistakenly and would cancel it. Next day when we checked out and I saw she charged us about $100. We talked the guy at the front desk and he said he would paid me back. But don’t know he did it or not. Be careful they would charge you extra

The staff was great and our room was spotless. The view outside our 3rd story window was stunning. There are very good restaurants within walking distance. Would highly recommend.

When I arrived they couldn’t find my reservation which was already paid by Expedia. They asked me for a credit card for essentials and they doubled charged my room. Can’t Get ahold of anyone to fix this charge. Second day trying to take my second charge for the room off my credit card. Not ok

I always start with the positives: 1. My room was initially clean. 2. I had a great ocean view. 3. A convenience store and busstop were within one block. These areas weren't so good: 1. The wifi was intermittent and unreliable. 2. Several structural common areas need to be repainted. 3. The housekeeping situation was bizarre. I stayed for six nights and didn't need housekeeping every day. However, I did want my room refreshed and talked to the two different desk clerks. I was told three times that cleaning would happen, and it never did. The last clerk even promised a 10 percent credit on my bill because of the late cleaning. The credit never happened and was just a sham statement to get me out of the office. Obviously, I won't be staying here again

Check in lady was so nice and let us check in early...came from out of state and arrived early. Staff all super nice, extra clean rooms. Stay couldn't have been better. Nice to have a little fridge and microwave.

When I walked in the lobby there were multiple people there already with complaints about their rooms. When I arrived at my room the heater nor the TV worked. I contacted the front desk who was unable yo resolve the issue or provide another room. I ended up having to book another hotel because they were unable to resolve my issue. Too bad because it was so a beautiful hotel.

Clean room and friendly staff during check-in

Really disappointed with the outcome of our trip for our WEDDING ANNIVERSARY :( But because we had a good initial stay here, we decided to divide our trip between Half Moon Bay & Pacifica. However, though we got booked in a smaller room we still made a go of our plan since Nick's Rockaway Restaurant was just across. Before checking in I requested for an extra hour for checkout to 12 noon to the kindness of the hotel reception staff named "Dave". He also advised us that if we wished to extend another hour, there'll be a $20(or $25)charge. Well, the following day, both my husband & I got up late being tired from our anniversary trip. It was good to not feel rushed. When I called the front desk/reception at around 10:50 a.m., a woman picked up & I could sense an unfriendly vibe from the get go. I still proceeded & mentioned in a very nice tone that I spoke with her colleague staff from the day before and that we'd like to proceed with an extra hour checkout & the $20/25 charge was fine. The woman went on to lash out tersely "that's not our policy, checkout is strictly at 11:00 a.m. and sorry you were told a different thing, etc.). That gave us only another 5 minutes! It is really quite difficult if one came from the hotel industry also and we were trained to be "kind, courteous & accommodating". MOST people going to hotels are CELEBRATING SPECIAL OCCASIONS! Did she forget?! And there is a way to explain property regulations graciously. NEVER Staying Again :(

The front desk woman Ariel was so incredible! She really gave me the best service especially on a hard weekend as I was down there for my Uncle's funeral! I really appreciate the help.

This is an old Inn. They have upgraded the rooms to the extent that they can. The perking is limited and very toght. We parked on the street on the second night. The staff were very friendly. We had few needs. The neighborhood feels very safe and is walkable. There are two good options for dinner and a great breakfast restaurant all on the next block. The elevator is a bit grungy and very slow. Overall, we had a great time. It gets quiet and stays quiet at night.

The property was older but clean. It was worth the stay. It was so close to the ocean. The area around it was quiet at night so we were able to leave our window open and listen to the ocean sounds.

The property was convenient but had a problem locating it. The sign needs to be bigger and bold. But overall nice walk to beach and Nick's restaurant was a delight.

It was a getaway and our stay was comfortable and clean. There are restaurants next door and across the street and both are great.

Perfect location. Quiet at night. Dining option nearby, walkable to the beach, and great trail access and easy walk to pacifica beach. Will come back again… expedia indicated breakfast included , but its actually not. Front office provide free coffee/ tea/ juice in the morning. Breakers cafe is just a few steps away. Come early to avoid crowd.
