Room very clean, bed ok, service was good price was good. The bad thing was the pool was out of order two days (not good) the jacuzzi was out of order too on friday, staff said jacuzzi was open saturday, so we went to try it and water was cold and jets not working, so went to friends house for pool and jacuzzi, I was thinking to come back but don't know, other than that all was good.

I specifically booked this hotel for the pool, and upon arrival, we were told that the pool is closed (in end-May), which was a big let-down. We weren't even offered any reimbursement or compensation for this.

We stayed 1night, and it was great. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Pool was great except the jacuzzi wasn’t working, other than that I’d say we will definitely stay again.

Pros- Convenient to shops (surrounded by shops and roads but quiet inside the room), small but bigger than other Springhill suite rooms, pretty clean, free parking Cons- pool was way too hot for an already warm day, insufficient bedding for pullout bed, laundry facilities could improve with only two washers/ one dryer for whole hotel

I liked the room and common area it was clean and comfortably, the pool was so cloudy I couldn’t see the bottom of the pool, one of the main reasons I booked a stay was for the pool.

Great property enjoyed our stay! The pool was a little dirty and a little warm (they don’t aerate it) so it was t refreshing but the gym was clean and nice, rooms were clean and nice, we got a suite for a family 5 and everyone slept on a bed, breakfast was great, all staff interactions friendly. Enjoyed it!

Facility and room looked well maintained and clean. Ample breakfast choices. Neat and tiday. Pool was 90 degrees or so and was so perfect for swimming. However glass doors on desk were noisy and rattled.

The property was in good condition but the carpet in our room had wet areas and it smelled dingy. When we called the front desk for toilet paper (we had none when we checked in) they told me I could come and get it. When I went to get it, the front desk person was alone with check ins and she was the one who gave me item.

I appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the quick check-in and availability of staff and the amenities. The breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve ever had that was included with the room. Highly recommended!

For a one night stay, the property was fine. We checked in late and was very tired. The room was very hot and almost uncomfortable. Even when you turn on the air, it was still warm. The shower was filthy and had dirty footprints all over it. What was most concerning is our room, 123, the door had signs of someone previously breaking into it. You can see it very clearly. Management hasn’t fixed it. Hopefully when they see this review, they will.

The staff and front desk are very kind and accommodating. I was very impressed how clean and comfortable and spacious everything was in the rooms. Updated newer rooms. Continental breakfast . Very happy with my stay and will stay again. Location was perfect right next door to Whole Foods. Walking distance to everything

We stayed three nights and were supposed to have a cleaning on the second day but that never happened. Fresh towels were available for pick up at the desk so that was good. Breakfast was good, bread for regular toast would be nice, items varied by day. It was quiet and beds were comfortable, lobby elevator area smells like garbage consistently. The guy at the front desk is very friendly and the girls are all pleasant, parking is easy and free. The area has a lot of shops and restaurants near by and it’s quick to Palm Springs. The rooms were updated though our shower could have been built better, there is quite a lot of wear and tear that could be improved for a Marriott hotel

room is great, a separate living area and nice desk. bathroom position a bit odd in the middle of the room. the mattress is very, very soft, didn't have a great night sleep, that is my main issue. Breakfast was good, nice variety.

Large lobby and pool area. Super close to lots of shops and food! The King suite layout is awesome. Lots of space to hang out. Do NOT stay on the first floor; people were sliding doors non-stop all day and evening. The doors are a huge issue at this hotel. They need to ensure the doors are "regulated" to avoid slamming. You can hear everything outside the hallway.

I liked the design of the room and comfort of the bed. However, the location of the a/c was not good, because the air blows right in the face of the person lying next to it. Also, the walls seemed to let in a bit of noise. On the plus side, the breakfast was excellent, and had everything I liked!

Our check in was wonderful. The front desk lady was so sweet and kind. We got 2 rooms. One of the rooms ac didn't work so they all had a very uncomfortable night. We checked in around 9 pm and they were too tired to call anyone in the middle of the night. In the other room, it was on the pool side of the hotel. I'm not sure what was happening outside, but it sounded like someone was cutting trees down for about 3 hours. Maybe it was someone working on the landscaping, but they should never do that in the middle of the night. Worst night sleep ever.

Stayed here for a nearby wedding. The queen bed was very comfortable. We didn’t use the sofa and desk. Bathroom was fine but didn’t like the sliding door or the motion sensing lights. You get blinded by them turning on in the middle of the night and there was no apparent option to turn off the motion sensor. Would have liked to have charging plugs on both sides of the bed but were only on one side.

I prepaid for my stay the associate ask for a card to have on file. That was not a problem but the charged $1800 on my card over my stay 4 different amounts. The manager was off the whole 4 days I was there. The young lady that caused the problem was very dismissive and rude. It was the absolute worse service I ever received. The manager has yet to call or explain anything.

Our room lost water in morning (which I nicely reported) and again at 9:00 at that night. After much arguing was given another room. Staff required me to wake up family, have them pack up and move rather than just allowing us to move into new room. Ridiculous since they couldn’t rent it out. Why inconvenience us TWICE. Received no apology from the manager which I asked for. Received no monetary accommodation either.

Was greeted by the very knowledgeable and charismatic Nick who made me very welcome and comfortable with the property immediately. The room was great, ac worked amazing, 24/7 coffee, great location! I’m in Palm Desert weekly for work so will be continuing to stay here going forward.

At check in they were not prepared with a crib in our room as requested in our reservation. Once at our room the door lock did not work (our room was open when we got to it). The Manager did call someone to come fix it (which he did not) so we had to use our key to continue to lock our room for the week we were there. We asked for our room to be made up every other day (which did not happen). One day we asked the front desk 3 times to have it done and we were told she was not sure if they would get to it before 7pm when my baby goes to bed... The breakfast was good when they actually put everything out. There were many mornings when there was only toast and watery eggs to eat. The location of this hotel was perfect for us to walk everywhere which is why we picked it in the firsts place.

We did not end up staying for several reasons: (1) the hotel did not give me a room that I requested and paid for and insisted that they only had accessible rooms; (2) the hotel was filthy and the room smelled; (3) people who were staying there appeared to be on drugs and were standing outside the hotel smoking and throwing trash on the ground; (4) staff was not accommodating at all.

My family and I loved our stay here at SpringHill Suites. Their locations have never failed us. Breakfast is always great as well. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Location is good too as you share the plaza with a Neighborhood WalMart, and the plaza across the street has many shopping departments like Marshall's, Burlington Co, Target, etc. along with many restaurants to choose from. We also felt safe and slept soundly. Definitely would come back and choose this as our stay.

Loved the location. In PD a few days before checking into our AirBB home so being easy walking distance to Whole Foods and stores and restaurants all around was wonderful. The rooms have a great set up with sofa, king bed and large bathroom - nicely designed. Overall condition is very good. Can’t comment on breakfast as we didn’t have it. Our 2 complaints were the AC under the window which is what we were told to use barely cooled the room, it’s early Nov so not over hot out, thankfully but had it set to 66 degrees and it was still actually 72. Other issue was the pool was not heated - so much for hanging out in the pool as it was a cold plunge. When we told front desk about both things they said oh sorry but no explanation- or offer to rectify. All front desk staff were friendly except the person we told this too literally didn’t seem to care, no offer of help or apology-come on Marriott step up the customer service when there’s an issue.

Very convenient location in Palm Desert close to El Paseo Drive and shopping. Room was clean and fairly quiet. Our room looked out onto the pool area which was lit up like daylight all night so you had to keep the curtains closed which limited the fresh air from the 2" the window could be opened. Breakfast was mystery meat patty and what looked like scrambled eggs with maybe spinach mixed in? Who would do that for average hotel guests? Ended up having a bagel with cream cheese instead and some hot coffee which hit the spot. I would stay there again but go out for breakfast. Parking seemed pretty safe also since the perimeter of the hotel was also lit up like daylight

Stayed in the King room. Was nicely laid out. A little over sanitized but that was helped by opening the window for a bit. Breakfast was disappointing. Hot food was only barely warm. No yogurt or cereal, only oatmeal. Nice to have breakfast but it was limited. That said I would probably stay again.

Free breakfast was not good. Scrambled eggs were frozen. Very minimal selections compared to all other Spring Hill suites. We always have had a good experience. But this location is not great. Pretty run down, needs upgrade and also improve the quality of breakfast.

Large, Clean Rooms but Pool Area Needs Attention Our stay at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Palm Desert had some significant pros and cons. The Good: The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. (Images 2, 8, 9) Safety Hazard in Bathroom: Water from the shower easily spills under the door onto the floor outside the shower area. This creates a large, slippery puddle and is a definite safety hazard. Overall, while the accommodations inside the room were excellent, the maintenance and safety issues in the pool and bathroom areas need to be addressed.

my kids love this spacious room with 2 queen beds, one sofa bed and a trundle bed. we are a family of 5 and everyone can enjoy the good sleep. it is in a very good location. shopping center is near the hotel.
