Overall stay was fine, room service was good with friendly maids ( they spoke some English). Reasonable price. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. Their soap could be of better quality. Lot better than a Motel 6! But no breakfast or restaurant on site. Has a pool!

The motel was in an area with a lot of other hotels, so that was nice. The staff was nice and it was an easy check in and out. The stay was just for sleep while my sister was in the hospital. It was nice to have a fridge and a microwave in the room, but felt like the air couldn’t keep the room cool, and it was loud. I had read that the mattresses were creaky from other reviews, but didn’t expect them to be as loud as they were! Anytime anyone would move or get out of bed, it would wake the other person up. Lots of banging noises outside our room one of the nights, like they were fixing something at 9pm. We didn’t use the pool. It was about 10-15minutes to the Stanford Medical center.

Check in staff was friendly but the room was dirty and in need of repairs. The floor was broken in several places, the toilet roll holder was broken, the mismatched furniture looked like it was pieced together from thrift shops. The bathroom was dirty with hairs in the tub and on the floor and I squashed at least 5 ants before I even used the toilet. For the same price, I switched to a different motel down the street that was clean and included breakfast.

I loved that the floors were not carpeted. It made the room feel cleaner. The bathroom fixtures were older, which I didn’t mind but I could have done without the cockroach I found in the bathroom. The area outside in front of our door smelled like pee. It looked clean though, I guess maybe it came from people, letting their dogs pee in a patch of dirt out front.

It was close to Stanford medical which was nice, but it was so dirty. I did not want to shower it was that dirty. There was hair all in the bathroom a booger on the tissue box. There was something on the bed i have no idea what is was. I have pictures, but for some reason i cant download them?

The front lobby was locked and only had a little slot to talk with the attendant. When I went into the hotel room the bathroom was filthy. Urine on the toilet seat and something disgusting in the tub. They did give me a new room but seriously. This was absolutely unacceptable.

Had a fantastic experience at Oak Motel. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Everything was well-maintained and made for a relaxing visit. Highly recommend!

This place needs a major update. It was clean and the TV worked great, but the bed was creaky and 2 hard pillows. The toilet was low to the ground and the floor near the bathroom and closet was cracking as I think the layer underneath was probably rotten. There was a refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine, but they only provided "instant" coffee packets. There was no USB plugin in the entire pace and the wake-up call we requested never happened. There was a great place to eat across the street (Dinah's Poolside Restaurant) and we were wishing we had booked a room over there.

Room floors were dirty, towels had stains, hair everywhere including under the blankets, fridge was dirty inside, Front office called me saying i needed to pay more money after i had paid in full on hotels.com. Did have a big screen tv though.

If you're looking for affordable and quiet place to stay this is the one.. Although the motell looks old, it i very clean The staff are very accommodating, nice and flexible to your needs. As long as there are availabkw rooms, they'll even allow you to check in early.

We loved our stay at the Oak Motel in Palo Alto. Such a beautiful area, close to all. The motel rates are reasonable and the rooms are very comfortable.

There was a refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine, but they only provided "instant" coffee packets. There was no USB plugin in the entire pace and the wake-up call we requested never happened. There was a great place to eat across the street (Dinah's Poolside Restaurant) and we were wishing we had booked a room over there.

This place needs a major update. It was clean and the TV worked great, but the bed was creaky and 2 hard pillows. The toilet was low to the ground and the floor near the bathroom and closet was cracking as I think the layer underneath was probably rotten. Built in the 50’s, last renovated in the 70’s. The ceramic tile on the bathroom counter was cracked, the bathroom window frame was filthy. Stayed here because of last minute need late at night and nothing else available. It is so shabby and in need of total make over or demolition. If you find your self in similar straits, drive a little further; it will be worth it.

This place was a dump. I don't have high standards and this motel was extremely underwhelming. The floor had a tear in the vinyl that should have been replaced. The adjoining room door was locked using screws, which would have been an ingenious solution if this were an eastern European farmhouse somewhere along the Russian border. The door lock did not function properly. The cleaning solutions left a pungent odor in the room that did not dissipate over the entire duration of my stay (2 nights). There were cigarette butts in the landscaping that were never picked up. Overall, the place was run down and neglected. The fee charged for the room was not commensurate with the lodging experience. I will never stay again.

After spending $160.00, and waking up this morning to something biting my Right ankle, I checked the bed sheets, pillows, mattress and box springs. I found absolutely disgusting filth under the mattress, on the box spring, inches from my head. I immediatly notified the person at the front desk and requested a refund however, the woman told me she wold have to wait for someone else to ok the refund. I told the woman that I would hold off on writing the review until I heard from someone. It has been over 4 hours, I am at the airport and OAK Hotel has not contacted me. UNACCEPTABLE Service.
