Stanford Motor Inn

The property is so very old. Looks like paint and carpet relatively new. But baseboards with holes poorly filled with putty. But the overall cleanliness that is under the housecleaning purview was fine. Breakfast is cello wrapped danishes. Very efficient a/c. We had no intention of using pool or spa, but it’s empty and unavailable for this summer. It’s not a property you lounge at, just stay at. There is a nice covered patio area. We chose for price, under $200 p/n. Most other hotels we usually stay at are @ $400 p/n. We go to Stanford hospital frequently, not for fun and thought we’d try something less expensive.

Wonderful place to stay. You feel like family!

Staff, both evening and morning, were exceptional. The property is older but well maintained. Wonderful amenities including refrigerator with freezer, stove, free parking, well placed outlets and complimentary continental breakfast. I appreciate the medical discount offering.

The room had a bad smell

Very clean, small room. Friendly, helpful staff. Walls were a little thin, but not too bad.
