I was disappointed because property manager tried to run my credit card earlier before my checkin time. When I specifically asked to pay at property. I had to pull over several times before arriving to Pismo to give him my card number. Which my bank declined because they thought it was fraud. I had to make a new reservation and cancel my old one with Expedia. Then parking was limited because he was letting other people that were not staying at hotel pay to park there cars there. So there was no parking for customer with reservation. No smoke alarm and no safety latch in room.

There were no lamps on the nightstands. Only light in the bedrooms provided by one bulb in the ceiling. Sink area had no countertop no place for women replace their cosmetic bags or anything else. No tissues in the room no toilet paper holder in the bathroom. Only two towels available. Combination shampoo and conditioner packets were extremely difficult to tear open. It was a large gap under the front door which allowed cold air to stream in at night. Booked a queen bed but was given a full size. Way overpriced it more than $330. Probably deserved some credit on my bill as a result. Swimming pool was drained needed work.

Unfortunately, my room was lacking some expected items that the manager mostly remedied in a timely manner. 1) missing smoke detector (replaced timely) 2) broken lamp (not fixed per my decision) 3) TV did not work easily (manager had to show me how to finagle buttons to get to live tv. There was no way to figure this out without his help) 4) Towels no bath mat or hand towels in room when checked in. We finally got some after a couple days. 5) Bed had a thin bedspread and sheet only. I had to ask for a blanket 6) Bare minimum in the room - 1 queen bed, 2 bed side tables with lamps, one broken, 1 small table with 2 unmatching chairs, small refrigerator and 1 TV. 7)Swimming pool was empty and out of commission. 8) No breakfast, food or coffee offered. The bathroom was very nice and clean with a walkin shower. Knowing and accepting all these limitations, I would possibly stay here again. The price was right.

The hotel mgr was very accommodating allowing us to check in early and gave us his personal parking space. 👍 The pool was closed for repair, there was no continental breakfast and there were cigarette buds and ashes in the nightstand drawers. No screen on the bathroom window which was open. 👎

Cons: The pool is under repair, the motel was noisy. It was hard to sleep with the light shining in the window, shutters would not close all the way. The air conditioner is a wall unit, it did not cool off the room. The bathroom was clean but old. The beds were lumpy. The beds had sheets and bedspreads, no actual blankets. The neighborhood was sketchy. The price was high. Located on an extremely busy street with no crosswalks for a few blocks. A lot of people park their trailers or RVs on the street so it is hard to see traffic if you are walking around. Pros: walking distance to the beach. Management was helpful. Parking was included. Parking was not strict. Pets are allowed. If you can get this place for a deal it would be worth it. For 300 a night? Look elsewhere.

A few sachets of shampoo but no soap or body wash. No cups or glasses in the room and no coffee maker. Plus no TV guide on the channel numbers. And no way to work out how to turn on the AC. Overall a very basic and sterile room lacking in the usual amenities. We will not be staying here again.

Location was excellent. Staff very friendly. Upon entry to room, it smelt dank. We went to local store and got cleaning stuff and cleaned the bathroom and entire floor of hotel, fortunately it was a tile floor. I am positive those floors haven't been mopped in a long time. Bathroom door hinges were loose and had to lift door to get to close. The toilet seat was loose and moved around when you sat on it. Once properly cleaned, our stay was nice and being so local to beach, food and stores was excellent. I think the cleaning part should be more thorough.

The shower was dirty and rusty, showered at the beach showers instead. They also charge an additional fee upon check in that was not disclosed anywhere but upon arrival. The room and bed itself wasn’t too bad just the dirty rusted bath tub was the only complaint.

We double booked rooms on accident and the staff wouldn’t work with us on taking one of the rooms off(I get that is our fault) but then our room was FILTHY, the bathtub backed up without a drain plug in it, the spout blew off the wall from water pressure, the bed was broken, had big box of trash in the room, all the screens on the windows were ripped allowing bugs to fly into the room if you had the windows open to enjoy the beach weather. Terrible experience.

Bed sheets were dirty with stained pullows. They did remake the bed after I talked to the manager but it shouldn't havd to come to that. Place is really gone down hill since the last time I was here. I don’t think I'll stay at this motel again.

Room window had a busted slab, could see right into the room from the street. i asked for it to be addressed, since at that price this was insane, and the manager told me he would bring me extra towels to shove into the blinds. Then never brought the towels. It was the WORST.

Friendly staff. The place was just old and worn. We didn’t have a tv remote and didn’t bother to ask for one since we were only staying the night. The toilet seats were torn and the shower curtains were too short. It fell above the tub so all the water would spray out under the curtains into the floor when you showered. The towels were all stained as well. Kind of hard to fell comfortable using the towels. I stayed with my hubby and toddler. My toddler is at a weird stage where he doesn’t like dirty. He kept complaining his feet were dirty and had particles on it when he climbed into bed. Haha.

We arrived and the man at the counter charged us $15 more on top of our prepaid stay he said it was a cleaning fee. This was not disclosed on Expedia. Our room was very basic with old India looking sheets and a flat sheet. Bed was hard as a rock. The bathroom did not have any bath towels so we had to ask for some on arrival. We had about 1/4 of a toilet paper roll in the entire room. We had to ask for more toilet paper as well. Within an hour of arriving, we had the weird front counter man knock at our door. He wanted to show us how to operate the tv on the wall. This man is a penny pincher and if you’re looking for a super cheap basic room, this is the place to stay. We did not feel safe at all. I would never stay here again.

They have been updating the room since we were there last, the sleeping area was definitely updated, new beds and flooring. The restroom lacked any updates, rotting base boards, bathtub took forever to drain and the faucet came off and shot across the tub. I'm hoping they complete the upgrades soon.
They have been updating the room since we were there last, the sleeping area was definitely updated, new beds and flooring. The restroom lacked any updates, rotting base boards, bathtub took forever to drain and the faucet came off and shot across the tub. I'm hoping they complete the upgrades soon.

I didnt really like how the sink was lifting from its place, there was a part missing from the curtains that I had to cover with a towel because people can see in, the drawers handles were out of its hinges and we had to leave early to beat the traffic but we got delayed because no one was answering the door even though on there page it says open 24/7

I was disappointed because property manager tried to run my credit card earlier before my checkin time. When I specifically asked to pay at property. I had to pull over several times before arriving to Pismo to give him my card number. Which my bank declined because they thought it was fraud. I had to make a new reservation and cancel my old one with Expedia. Then parking was limited because he was letting other people that were not staying at hotel pay to park there cars there. So there was no parking for customer with reservation. No smoke alarm and no safety latch in room.

Terrible customer service. Completely unresponsive and lies. They said there was a room available and no one was there when I arrived with a No Vacancy sign on the door. I traveled 200 miles for lies. Don't know how they are in business!

Please someone answer my email or call me. I stayed with a couple of friends of mine and both of our credit cards were charged for the stay. She paid in full prior to giving her the room number and key card. They got there first and when i checked my credit card last week, there was a charge on my card as well and i already paid her for my half. The next morning we came and spoke with a person at the desk who said that they'd refund no problem. Cons: The pool is under repair, the motel was noisy. It was hard to sleep with the light shining in the window, shutters would not close all the way. The air conditioner is a wall unit, it did not cool off the room. The bathroom was clean but old. The beds were lumpy. The beds had sheets and bedspreads, no actual blankets. The neighborhood was sketchy. The price was high. Located on an extremely busy street with no crosswalks for a few blocks. A lot of people park their trailers or RVs on the street so it is hard to see traffic if you are walking around. Pros: walking distance to the beach. Management was helpful. Parking was included. Parking was not strict. Pets are allowed. If you can get this place for a deal it would be worth it. For 300 a night? Look elsewhere.

Unfortunately, my room was lacking some expected items that the manager mostly remedied in a timely manner. 1) missing smoke detector (replaced timely) 2) broken lamp (not fixed per my decision) 3) TV did not work easily (manager had to show me how to finagle buttons to get to live tv. There was no way to figure this out without his help) 4) Towels no bath mat or hand towels in room when checked in. We finally got some after a couple days. 5) Bed had a thin bedspread and sheet only. I had to ask for a blanket 6) Bare minimum in the room - 1 queen bed, 2 bed side tables with lamps, one broken, 1 small table with 2 unmatching chairs, small refrigerator and 1 TV. 7)Swimming pool was empty and out of commission. 8) No breakfast, food or coffee offered. The bathroom was very nice and clean with a walkin shower. Knowing and accepting all these limitations, I would possibly stay here again. The price was right.

The hotel mgr was very accommodating allowing us to check in early and gave us his personal parking space. 👍 The pool was closed for repair, there was no continental breakfast and there were cigarette buds and ashes in the nightstand drawers. No screen on the bathroom window which was open. 👎

A few sachets of shampoo but no soap or body wash. No cups or glasses in the room and no coffee maker. Plus no TV guide on the channel numbers. And no way to work out how to turn on the AC. Overall a very basic and sterile room lacking in the usual amenities. We will not be staying here again.

I would not recommend this property. It smelled like fabuloso clean, but that's it. There was a disgusting, rotted baseboard/door jam by the front door. The room was less than basic. The person who checked us in, tried to charge our card twice

The place is located close to the beach as everything is within walking distance. The people that worked there were nice and helpful. The rooms has mismatched paint, people had their pets when they weren’t allowed and you could hear others. The blinds were missing slats which others walking by could see into your room. Not a lot of privacy.
