Historic Cary House Hotel

Very historic rooms. Very limited amenities ! Excellent location with great restaurants . Friendly staff.

This hotel is a must stay it has so much history and the elevator is so awesome it’s a piece of history! The staff is amazing and so friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the hotel ! The only negative is there is no air conditioning but they will give you a powerful fan for your room and the windows open to let fresh air in ! If you are traveling thru the area please stay here !

Parking is a little restricted, they have a back lot that you can stay in for free, but it’s a city lot with businesses so it can fill up during the day and then you have to go farther away to get parking. The hotel itself is great! clean room, a little worn but it’s really old in a very cool way. Lobby is fantastic. Help was really good, No complaints.

Historic landmark! Conveniently located in the heart of Placerville, CA.My second stay here after years past. Staff is what makes your stay here pleasant.
