I really enjoyed my stay with my dog. The owners were so nice and everything was clean. The room was pretty spacious and comfortable. I will definitely be back when I visit the area again.

The location is easy to get to and the staff are friendly and professional. It's close to the lake where my mother lives and I have been coming here for years. I like that it is pet friendly also.

I have stayed at WestHaven Inn every spring for many years. This place is always very clean and the rooms are VERY spacious with a small patio. The refrigerator is a nice size. The rooms are VERY quiet. The owners are nice and the price is reasonable.

The owners seem like a really nice couple and are friendly however when I arrived they put me in a room with two queen beds instead of one king, not a big deal except when I got to the room three of the lights didn’t work, 4 of the outlets don’t get power. It looks like they cleaned most of the room but forgot to clean out the drawers so some of them have hair and dirt from the previous guest. The drawer in the bathroom was the worst. There’s also a smoke detector barely hanging onto the sealing with a bunch of masking tape.

Room was clean, quiet, spacious, and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Staff are very attentive to guests. Good dining options down the road. We like how there is a sink in the bathroom and another sink outside of the bathroom by the mini fridge & microwave. Toilet seat was wobbly and one sink drain plug couldn't be closed, but otherwise everything else was great.

Property was conveniently close to Apple Hill which is a plus. We had 3 people in double room with only 2 towels in the bathroom. We stayed two nights. We asked for an extra towel around 10:30 before checkout on the last day, because the last person wanted to shower. The manager on duty told us no. She said we were checking out soon and she couldn’t give us a towel. So our guest had to reuse a towel we already had used those last two days. Yuck! We were livid. I told her again that the room had only two towels for 3 people, her excuse was she asked me the first day of checking in if I needed anything and I said no. So, it’s my fault. Obviously, we didn’t need towels the first 2 hours of checking into the room? She continued to give us excuses, still stating it was all my fault for her lousy service. We paid $280 for 2 days to be treated like crap. If you stay, bring your own towels and extra clean blankets from home. Bathroom needed a good scrub, mold was evident in the shower shelf window.

Overall a good value for the price on a busy holiday weekend, clean enough, but with deferred maintenance; you get what you pay for. Stayed two nights. I was pleasantly surprised by the high ceiling (we were on the top/2nd floor), it felt more roomy. Very loud but adequate heater. A couple of light bulbs out in hallway and bathroom. Dim room overall. One table lamp had a switch covered by electrical tape (but it worked). Wi-Fi didn’t work, but cell service was adequate so I didn’t bother mentioning to the manager. Hot water was very good. Bathroom tub, shower, toilet were all clean. Bed was not particularly thick or fluffy, but it was adequately firm and not saggy. Rather old microwave, but it worked. Linens were all clean. Towels were moderately fluffy. Two sinks in our room, both with large mirrors and lots of light bulbs. One sink had a piece missing/broken off (at the bottom, the shiny round receptacle around the drain that you would think is metal but apparently is not). The freeway was next to the property and quite loud even though we were at the opposite end, furthest away.

The owners came into my room and turned off the heater unit. When I called them to ask why they even came in my room. She said she did come in but didnt turn off the unit. Then I asked what was her purpose for come in because the beds hadnt been made or the garbage taken out. So basically she let herself into my room for no reason whatsoever. I would never stay at the motel again.

It was great that there was availability as our decision to stay in the area overnight was last minute decision. Our stay was decent, just overnight. However, the next morning, the woman who checked us in came into our room without permission, grabbed the room key from above the television and turned the tv off, telling us it was time to leave. I have never dealt with hotel staff as unprofessional as she was. When she had seen the confused look on my face because she came into our room as we were gathering our belongings to pack into our vehicle, she asked with attitude “what?” And I said “this is very strange that you are in our room right now” and she replied “I don’t care, you’re taking up my time”. Given, check out is at 11am, and it was 11:06am, but that doesn’t justify her stepping into the room unannounced and doing what she had done. I also have young children in the room which caused a few minutes of our delay. This woman needs to understand that this behavior is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. We will not be returning and I will leave a review on every platform for this particular Inn.

The one thing I appreciate the most was accommodating to a late check-in. Their office closes at 10 and I was running late driving a long distance. I called and said I would be arriving closer 11pm and they told me to just ring door bell when I got there. Check in was fast and I really appreciate the great customer service. Thank you.

A quiet haven tucked away at an elevation of 3000 ft in the midst of nature. We loved the place. We had a good sleep over en route to South Lake Tahoe. Will do it again another day.

The location is easy to get to and the staff are friendly and professional. It's close to the lake where my mother lives and I have been coming here for years. I like that it is pet friendly also.

Great cheap place to save when you just wanna go to Applehill wine tasting and then go into Placerville for dinner is very close to everything. The rooms were clean, but the beds and pillows need upgrading very hard.

Room was clean, quiet, spacious, and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Staff are very attentive to guests. Good dining options down the road. We like how there is a sink in the bathroom and another sink outside of the bathroom by the mini fridge & microwave. Toilet seat was wobbly and one sink drain plug couldn't be closed, but otherwise everything else was great.

Everyone in our group really enjoyed our stay here. The common area was beautifully lit and included yard games. The rooms were clean and very spacious and the staff was very accommodating to our request for a lower level room and even followed up with us to make sure we were happy with our rooms. Highly recommend!

Large clean room. Kind staff. Nostalgic setting. We could only stay one night but definitely will keep it on our list for future travels in this area.

This is the most darling place, and from the moment you see the property, you can tell that the owners take pride in ownership and in their investment. The longer I was there, the more clear that was. There is a gorgeous, large outdoor area set up for guests to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings with the ability for several different groups to sit together, or for all to sit as one big group. The exterior of the facility was as clean, neat, and tidy as the indoors. The owner greeted me and checked me in and gave me a welcome gift bag with water and granola bars. My room was *enormous*. It was so nice and so big with a lovely little back patio, that I sent a video of it to my friends and my sister, telling everyone where it is so they can stay when they come through. As I was leaving, the owner came out and asked if everything was okay and if anything needed improvement, and I could tell that he really wanted to know. Absolutely 10/10 and will be back
