The Peloton bikes in the gym were not online or maintained, but I find that to be true everywhere I go. Walls are thin - very easy to hear the “activities” going on next door, but again, that’s true with a lot of hotels.

Hyatt Regency Sacramento is ideally located next to the Safe Performing Arts Center and Convention Center. The rooms are comfortable. The fitness center is a disappointment and not easy to get to. Parking is available for a fee and not the easiest to navigate from the parking lot to the hotel room. The elevator in the parking structure was out of order requiring trekking up/down several flights of stairs. This was a bit of an issue for those with mobility issues. The Hyatt sits directly across from the state capitol. Traffic (both vehicle and on foot) can be an issue.

This is a great Hotel to stay at if you are going to a show at SAFE Credit Union Conv Ctr. It's basically across the street from the venue. The rooms are clean and modern. The bed is comfortable. The bar is nice with some good food available. My only rub is the check in wasn't that great. The clerk wasn't very personable and offered no information about the restaurants or amenities. In fact it was hard to get much information about these things when we called the front desk later.

The room we stayed at was not up to par at all. Mold in the bathroom, paint above shower was chipping/falling into the shower. The A/C in the room did not even work while we stayed there. Area around the property stunk like garbage/sewage.

Upon arrival to our room I noticed the bathroom door had a build up of hand and fingerprints all over. It looked like it had not been cleaned or ever wiped in some time. I used a sanitizing wipe and cleaned the bathroom door as well as the door of the room inside and out.

The location exterior is swarmed nightly by homeless who urinate on the sidewalks, leaving a disgusting odor. The hotel interior has a large central well opening on the hotel bar, such that crow noise projected into my room well after midnight on a work night. Carpet everywhere was dirty, parking garage elevators smelled really bad. Walls inside were dirty. The staff was really nice and helpful. Couches and chairs in lobby and my room were dirty and old. Elevator buttons and panels were dirty. Would not stay there again…

LOUD!! Could not get restful sleep. There was a LOUD, headache-causing vibration in the wall by my head the entire night. I kept trying to find a spot in the bed that was more bearable. Loud AC kept me awake for hours. Lots of yelling in the streets outside our window. When I finally started to doze off around 2am, a sudden and terrifying explosion-type sound jolted me awake. Unsettling, to say the least! What was that??! Bright and early, LOUD construction site outside our window ensured there would be ZERO sleeping in to make up for the loss of sleep through the night. After a late-night flight, I was really looking forward to a good night\'s sleep. I intentionally splurged on a nice, expensive hotel for the sole purpose of getting a good night\'s sleep. I am so disappointed and feel sick about spending so much and not getting what I paid for. I could go on. The bedding felt like paper and made loud, crunchy sounds with every bit of movement. The "down" comforters were paper thin with hardly any fill in them; I was cold! I tried to use the makeup mirror light in the bathroom, but it was burned out. Just so many disappointments. I don\'t know if they gave me the worst room in the house because I booked through Expedia, or what, but I know my sister had a quieter room down the hall, and with a working mirror light!

The room seemed a bit dated with ugly light switches and outlets that DID NOT WORK except the one in the bathroom. The walls were dilapidated and the decor dated (headboards/carpet). I was told this was a newly renovated property but maybe it just got a "face lift." Very ugly lobbycarpet. Also it seemed tacky to charge for daily parking. In room, only 2 glasses and cups for coffee which seemed minimal. Recessed lighting is good but generally too dim. Good points were friendly staff and the fact I could open the sliding door for fresh air as the room seemed dank. For the price I would expect a room with more updated decor, functionality and amenities. Convenient location by 1-5. Clean with good water pressure in shower and excellent toiletries (Pharmacopia brand - quality).

The Hyatt is a very nice hotel so I really don’t have many critiques. The room was very comfortable but dark. With the blinds pulled or after dark we had to turn on the tv to help light the room. Also…within about a block of the property the neighborhood gets really bad…homeless and undesirables everywhere. As a woman I’d be reluctant to go outside even in the daytime. Because of that we probably won’t stay in downtown Sacramento again

My sister is in a wheelchair and we had requested a room with a roll in shower. After we settled in and put out things away I noticed the room had a tub. It was very disappointing as we were getting ready for a concert and had limited time. She was not able to shower due to this. We did receive a $45 discount which was insulting due to the mix up. I would have preferred a 50% discount. Don’t take people in wheelchairs as if they don’t matter.

Room service would not answer at 830pm. Had to use the mobile app. Fine for food but it dis not cover the drinks we wanted. Once food came ordered drinks from doorway, when he returnes one of the cups had a whole and was leaking the beverage

Our family stayed the weekend. at the property during attendance at a conference nearby. We enjoyed the ease of walking access to the auditorium and great local restaurants. The standout of this stay, by far, was our room attendant Chien (sp?) (rm 755). She was so helpful each time we needed more room supplies or had questions about our room. We were in and out of the room getting ready for performances or needing a rest and she was so accommodating. What a pleasant series of interactions over the weekend thanks to her kindness and warmth. So grateful for her!

The front girl Natalie was so awesome she really helped us with our room and gave us such good service The housekeeping were so nice . I forgot my rings in a room and she turned them into lost and found. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Customer service was horrible, I was ignored twice, while the staff was helping others that had came after me and when there was no one else in line that’s when I was helped. I told the employee that they skipped me twice and all she can say was “what can I help u with” she totally disregarded what I said. I will not be staying at this hotel anymore with this type of customer service.

The hotel is in a great position for downtown. It is very comfortable and the staff are excellent. We had room service and the food was very good. I would happily stay here again. Self parking was easy as the entrance to the car park is to the side of the main hotel entrance.

It’s a beautiful hotel with a helpful staff. The room was comfortable, especially the pillows. We visited over a weekend. Unfortunately, there is a large unhoused population near the hotel. Some were struggling with mental health or substance abuse issues, so we did not feel as comfortable walking around.

Lesson learned not an ideal place for a family. Inside, felt kinda safe, but as you go out of the hotel, lots of inappropriate adults under the influence and sidewalks full with homelessness. The air reeked. We had chosen this area because we wanted to tour the old train museum. I would say I would go back if it was just a couples weekend.

I chose this hotel because it had a steakhouse and room service. But both the steakhouse and the other restaurant close at 9:30 pm. Had we known it would close so early on a Saturday night we would have planned it better but we didn’t think it would be that early. We had to leave the hotel to get food and that pretty much defeated the purpose of us paying double to stay in a hotel vs motel. Next time we’ll know but it was disappointing.

This is a perfect venue for a meeting. My rooms was spacious. The bathroom was fine. There is coffee making and refillable water bottles. My only drawback was a lack of late night food options (i had a long flight and checked in at 11pm).

When we walked in from the parking garage, the carpet looked dirty. It was noticeable. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The walls were thin, as both my friend and I were woken from a sound sleep from the couple next door showing their affection for each other. A bit disturbing and quite noisy for midnight. Other then that- the staff was nice. Property is in a great location and we walked to where we needed to be. The Vines restaurant served an excellent breakfast.

This is a great Hotel to stay at if you are going to a show at SAFE Credit Union Conv Ctr. It's basically across the street from the venue. The rooms are clean and modern. The bed is comfortable. The bar is nice with some good food available. My only rub is the check in wasn't that great. The clerk wasn't very personable and offered no information about the restaurants or amenities. In fact it was hard to get much information about these things when we called the front desk later.

My daughter cut her foot on a shard of glass while out by the pool. We were able to extract it on our own and get the bleeding taken care of quickly. The manager on site was kind and extremely attentive. He was thorough and still had someone arrive with a first aide kit. He also personally swept the area and was able to locate other pieces of glass. My only complaint would be an appropriate comp. We had just spent $75 on a whole two sodas and two sandwiches and my bill came while this was all happening. Having spent many years staying at Hyatts I was shocked he didn’t offer to take care of our lunch after dealing with broken glass at the pool and around probably 50 people witnessing it.
